Sarah Carr, LEED Accredited Professional Since 1999, Sarah Carr has been using natural elements and principles of sustainable design to create comfortable, unique resort spaces. Using concepts of clean lines and simple contemporary design, Sarah forged her own distinctive and timeless style. Sarah's expertise ranges from her vast design experience of boutique hotels, ski clubhouses, golf clubhouses, and high-end residential work. Sarah worked for Slifer Designs for 13 years designing many award winning resorts including the Arrabelle Hotel in Vail, Colorado, Old Greenwood Clubhouse in Truckee, California, and Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In addition, Sarah has designed multi-million dollar residences in the Vail Valley, Telluride, Aspen, Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma and Virginia. Sarah Carr Design is a full service design firm that collaborates with clients on design projects from concept to completion, focusing on making each space comfortable and beautiful. Sarah’s discerning eye assists clients in creating their own unique living space through her ability to envision the potential of any space, from initial planning phases of new construction or remodels to furniture and fabric purchasing services. Sarah’s passion for creating the ideal space reflecting the owner’s lifestyle and individuality is evident in all of her projects. Using an innovative approach to design, she seeks to bring the resort feel home and create a classic and effortless atmosphere. For public spaces, Sarah achieves her goal of making each space a source of inspiration by melding aspects of the overall style and vision of the structure with comfort and functional design. Sarah has a true talent for design and makes the process very enjoyable for her clients. Sarah is a native of Oklahoma and received her Bachelor of Interior Design from the College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma. Sarah currently resides in the Vail Valley with her husband and young daughter.
