Based in Red Bank, New Jersey, Salt Design Co., has been creating timeless interiors across the Jersey Shore and beyond since it's founding in 2014. What started out as a simple love for interiors and freelance design work, has since turned into a successful design firm, accompanied by a brick & mortar lifestyle shop. From large scale renovations and new builds, to single room projects, the Salt team will expertly design a space reflecting the personalities of those who live there. Sarah and her warm and professional team were wonderful to work with on our beach house renovation. She came to the table with great ideas that took the space from a cookie-cutter, traditional spec house to a custom, contemporary oasis. She also really listened to our vision for the house, both in style and use of the space. It is functional for our family and a delight to share with our guests. We will work with her again and highly recommend her services.

I can't say enough about working with Sarah and Kiera. I first approached Sarah when we wanted to update our living room while keeping some of the furniture we already had. It was definitely complicated but, they pulled it off better than I could have imagined. Within just a couple of weeks they presented me with a few vision boards to choose from. It was exactly what I envisioned. They are extremely organized, respond immediately to my emails or phone calls and make the whole process stress free. We are now working on our forth design project with them. They are truly the best!

I randomly found Salt Design Co's store front 2 years ago and now I return for all of my decorating needs. Sarah has helped me with 3 projects in my house: a bar room mater bedroom and dining room. She and her team are easy to work with, they listen and observe your needs and expectations and, absolutely, always present creative ideas.

We recently completed several room projects with Sarah and Jessica from SALT. From the beginning, we were impressed by their warm and easy going personalities and that made working with them a pure pleasure. Our projects ran the gamut from choosing paint colors, to redefining our living space, to restyling several other rooms for a more cohesive look. Sarah and Jessica understood our style immediately and chose the perfect pieces to fit our home, life style and budget. We’ve worked with other design professionals in the past and the process can often be intimidating. Working with the SALT team was like working with old friends and I would strongly recommend their services.

Sarah and the team at Salt Design Co are just wonderful. I was really happy with the types of materials and options she gave me that I would not have ever found on my own. My master bathroom is my favorite place in the whole world, due mainly to how beautiful the flooring and tiling turned out.
Salt Design supplied the custom master bath vanity, and the quality is great, and the vanity was reasonably priced. I really feel like they understand that their customers want value for money.
I would highly recommend Salt Design Co and can't wait to use them again!

Sarah and her team designed a complete interior renovation of a small and challenging space. Her skilled design concepts have made the rooms appear much larger and increased functionality. It was unusual to have a designer lock onto our vision and taste; and, then provide a selection of "on target" options that all fell within our budget. In addition to designing, locating items and making purchases, Sarah also provided top quality contractors in every discipline. Using Salt Design resulted in a worry-free/stress-free experience that culminated in a "turn-key" start at our vacation home. After a successful completion, she returned to help accessorize our home, thereby elevating it to an even dreamier get away.

Sarah and team were the perfect fit for my wife and I as we moved the family from the city to the beach. Sarah's ability to walk into our empty blank canvas of a home and places things from paint color, kitchen tables, and lighting in a short amount of time was truly priceless! The storefront in asbury was a huge bonus. Along with the design team there on site, we purchased major pieces off the floor with speedy delivery. Overall, love having Salt design close by now, and wishing i used them when I was further away in the city.

If in doubt, ask Sarah. After years of trying to figure out a floor plan to accommodate a baby grand piano in my rather awkward first floor layout, Sarah provided a design that flows beautifully, and has perfect balance while making the most of my front entry and living room spaces. She worked with my existing color scheme and a few design elements that I liked and had in other areas of my house, and found the perfect furniture pieces, accessories, and rugs to echo what worked, while elevating the overall look. She helped me create an elegant yet casual and comfortable space that my entire family of five loves. Sarah is professional, creative, and really fun and easy to work with. I can't wait to work with Sarah and Salt Design again on my next project.
