From the original conversation when I met Ruthi, to the general design layout of a room, to selecting furniture and the fabrics, pillows and rugs was an exciting and fun conversation. Ruthi was able to focus in rather quickly on my personal taste and offer fabulous choices but not overwhelming with too many choices. She showed genuine excitement and great vision for my project. She asked a lot of questions about my tastes / style, listened to my ideas and brought back a vision that was awesome! She did such a great job of ensuring the design was something that I would love before executing. Ruthi was always on top of things, always patient, always prepared, always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was handled properly within timelines. And paid attention to all details! Even while she was on vacation, Ruthi orchestrated the date for the furniture delivery. She wanted to make sure that the delivery day was on schedule as discussed. And that she was present to ensure that all parties (EA moving company, Dr. Sofa and EA Custom Window Treatments) involved delivered "top notch" services and products as promised throughout the entire process. Ruthi - I am completely overwhelmed and so much in love with my NEW apartment – it is absolutely stunning and beyond beautiful. I am so amazed with the transformation that it was difficult going to work this morning – couldn’t stop admiring every piece in my apartment. I have waited three years to have my beautiful apartment and I thank you for being part of this design journey with me. Every piece fits perfectly leaving enough room for me to dance around. I recently relocated and purchased a 3,000 square foot home for which I had very little furniture. I decided to check out Decotrac Interior Design Group as their reputation for providing a quality interior design service appealed to me and Ruth Yankiver came highly recommended. Ruth provided concepts and delivered end results that far surpassed what I could have imagined. First, I started with the dining room for which Ruth selected an incredible dining table and custom chairs that were stunning. Although not a selection I might have considered on my own, her choice of fabrics for the chairs was exquisite. Additionally, she incorporated an antique silver and crystal chandelier (Alexa from Ethan Allen) that gave the room a majestic atmosphere that is hard to define. Based on the results of the Dining room, we moved on to the Living room, Family room and Master Bedroom each of which ended up more elegant and sophisticated than the other. She has made my home a beautiful showpiece for which I receive constant compliments. Ruth's eye for combinations of colors and fabrics is incredible. She was able to visualize and create rooms that reflected the elegance and sophistication I was looking for while maintaining my individual tastes. Her recommendation for paint colors, rugs, wall treatments and accessories, all worked together to create the desired atmosphere. I appreciate her ability to visualize and bring together a room based on my general concept while stretching me to things I would not have considered. Ruth is an exceptional decorator who's asrhetic eye is only matched by her customer service. She has a knack for understanding her customers and working with them to make sure their space is in their style and for their comfort. Ruth at decotrac designed our kitchen and living room. She was very professional and listened to what we wanted and had great insight which resulted in our dream kitchen and living room. We are very satisfied with her vision and expertise.

Last year I decided to redecorate and remodel my split level house. I needed professional help on what type of construction to do, how to best use the space, color palettes, and how to decorate. I wanted to keep my current furniture and stay within budget. I hired Ruthi Yankiver to direct this project. She has an amazing knowledge of home remodeling and transformed my dated house into a modern space. She was an expert from the start to finish, helping me raise the ceiling, remodel 3 bathrooms, change all doors, change flooring, and reconstruct closets. She also has an incredible taste for style and color- she picked a color palette that was modern yet still keeps my home feeling warm and rearranged my furniture in a way that I would have never thought of. She has technical skills and will roll up her sleeves- she hung all of the pictures in my house and worked closely with the construction workers on specs and floor layout. On an interpersonal level, she is a pleasure to work with, really listens to feedback, and always on time. I highly recommend her for all remodeling and interior design work, and I will definitely use her again!

Decotrac is really all about Ruth Yankiver. She has an incredibly wide set of talents from design to project management to decorating. Although we have hired Ruth for a number of projects over the years, the largest and most complicated was a gut level rehab of a Manhattan coop -- new kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Ruth not only was able to bring the project on-time and on-budget but in doing so, also taught the contractor a few new tricks. Ruth is a delight to work with. She has a fine sense of design, a wide range of knowledge of furnishings and fixtures and an unerring sense of good taste. Most importantly, she know how to listen and is able to translate your thoughts into the design and decoration so that when all is done, all you can do is step back and say, "Wow."

Ruth at Decotrac Interior Design Group is an incredibly talented interior designer. What sets the firm apart is their fantastic vision and eye for space -- Ruth can literally walk into any room and immediately tell you how furniture and accessories should be laid for maximum effect. She is also one of the only designers I know that can easily adapt to any style -- traditional, contemporary, modern -- whatever, she can come up with an unbelievable design. I used Decotrac for my most important home projects -- designing my daughter's "big girl" room, my son's nursery, and our basement/entertainment area which included a kids' playroom that needed to work for two kids with a 6 1/2 year gap in ages. All three spaces exceeded our expectations. Ruth patiently worked with us, including my 8 year old daughter, to make our visions into reality. The firm's responsiveness, communication skills and accountability for every aspect of the project (including working with our own sub-contractors) made it stress-free for us. I had a very old, dated and sorry looking den and guest room. It is now fresh looking and we shopped with budget in mind. We also redid the living room and that included refinishing hard wood floors. All the subs were courteous, neat and professional and always on schedule.

We hired this company for few projects that extendedf from big one as our Zitoune restaurant to small ones that was ctatered for small events. Decotrac delivered work that promised or sometimes beyond that showing dedication, knowledge, detailed oriented and taste what was even more impressive, their take on the project as it was theirs.
