I've had the pleasure of working with Ruth over the past year for my family room and kitchen area. Ruth was instrumental in helping us decide how to orient the room, choosing the right fabrics/textures, helping the furniture all flow together, and just generally providing great advice for how to put a room together with correct proportions (especially for new homeowners who have never decorated a large space before). She made it a priority to stay within our budget while helping us prioritize which pieces were worth spending more on. I have one toddler and another on the way and she was wonderful in showing us fabrics that would survive for years without compromising style. Highly recommended.

We are a local art gallery and have been working with Ruth for many years in sourcing for her clients' art and framing projects. Ruth always brings in all the specs for her spaces when coming in and shopping for art and accessories. I found Ruth through Houzz after interviewing a few interior designers. We are currently working together on decorating my home and she has been a pleasure to work with. Our house is new and the style is a contemporary Tuscan. For our decor, I did not want to see the typical Tuscan colors or finishes. I really wanted something more eclectic, fresh and clean with a mix of old and new. Ruth spent quite a bit of time with me upfront trying to understand my tastes and preferences so that we could get it right and also ensure that it worked with the house. It can be an overwhelming process as the possibilities are endless and there are so many choices. Ruth has made it very easy by presenting a few foundational concepts for each room and then based on those decisions, helped guide me through additional selections for the room. We are close to complete with the kitchen, dining room, family room and entry area. The finishing touches take time as to be expected. Each room has its own look and feel but they all flow well together. At the start of our project Ruth worked with me on the budget, helping me understand what it might look like based upon my preferences and taste. We are pretty much on target with the budgeting thus far. Ruth has a great eye and can work with any style. She's been a pleasure to work with and I look forward to seeing the finished project!

I found Ruth on Houzz based on a picture of a transitional family room she had completed. I loved the looked of that family room, which led me to looking at her website. She was very consistent and had such great style throughout the website. Although I did not live close to her, I decided that picking the right interior designer with true design skills was more important than picking someone based on proximity. She has a true vision and opinion while also letting us choose our style. She is making our home come to life in the most beautiful way. We recommend Ruth to anyone even across the country.

Ruth has been a pleasure to work with. My first project with her was my master bedroom. I am thrilled with the finished project. It's my favorite room in my house. Ruth is very meticulous and a master at choosing colors. She is easy to work with and respectful of budgets and my personal taste. She keeps in mind also that the room must also flow with the rest of the house. Since my master bedroom project she has done my daughter and sons rooms and is currently helping me with my office. She has wonderful ideas and moves the project along nicely without seeming to pressure you. She is very good at finding you subcontractors but is also happy to work with people you have in mind as well. She is very easy to work with and has great taste and an eye for paint and fabric colors. I recommend her 100%.

Ruth initially contacted me through houzz and then we had several conversations about interior photography prior to our shoot. Because she had previous experience working with other photographers, she was able to provide me with all of the information that I needed to pre-plan our shoot. I found her to be immediately respective to the collaborative process of interior photography and so helpful by making sure that each space was well styled and ready to go. We were able to get through a long shot list that included several addresses because she planned the day so well. I enjoyed shooting her spaces and I look forward to collaborating with Ruth again in the future. I’m sure her clients feel the same!
