Julea Joseph is the best at what she does! I am a Realtor that has recommended Julea to many of my clients and the results were fantastic! Each home Julea has consulted for or staged has sold within record time sometimes with multiple offers! Julea has an incredible eye, and I am also currently working with Julea for additional design consulting and staging advice on my own home, FIVE STARS all day!!!

It all started when the wobbly arm of the love seat simply fell to the floor. Hurray! Time to buy a new couch. But what good is a new couch when there is an ugly monster in the room – the TV. And about that couch…would two love seats be better? How do you figure it all out? You call Julea. That’s what I did, and I’m glad I did. She arrived for a two-hour consultation, and about 15 minutes after she breezed in, she solved the biggest problem by relocating the TV so that it no longer dominated the room. Next she said a long sofa was needed, and it should be centered across from the bank of windows. (Why didn’t I think of that?) Other pieces would stay, but their placement was changed to balance out the room. As she whirled through the whole place, she recommended some finishing touches like getting taller bedside lamps, a glass top for a table and a pad to go under a rug for a plushier feel. Julea is not only a great designer, she is fun, bubbly and knows how to tell you tactfully that the old dorm lamps must go. Her fee was more than off-set by the savings I got by avoiding trial-and-error furniture purchases. I highly recommend her.

From the minute I met Julea, I knew I was in good hands and she makes herself so comfortable right away! She has an eye that I don't and made my living room come together so well with all of her suggestions. From the beautiful window treatments to the wall hangings, side tables, lamps, etc. She empowered me to go look for what specifically would work to purchase and was always available by phone or email. I will definitely be using her for our attic master suite remodel next Spring! I also appreciate that Julea does not necessarily have to recommend from the high end stores all of the time. I highly recommend her. Don't wait to decorate that room you've been wanting to spruce up or finish, Julea will set you on the right path and you will love the finished product!

Julea is a true professional with a dynamic and energetic personality. She has a keen eye for optimizing and beautifying space. She is an excellent teacher in her field and is admired by her peers.

Julea, was wonderful!!! I loved her personality that came through in telephone conversations! I loved her budget friendly recommendations with the DIY plan! After all, you don't want to break the bank when you are leaving the house and some of it's fixtures behind. I loved the difference in our staged house vs. the before staged house. I'm kinda sorry we have to leave it now....if only it were in a different state! Julea is a great addition to have to the team if you are trying to get your house on the market! She comes in full of ideas and personality. She works from curb to fence and is very honest about what changes are needed and it doesn't feel like a criticism of your personal tastes. I would highly recommend her for your home staging needs!

Julea staged a home in Trout Valley (near Cary), IL for me. The home has amazing style and potential, but it just was not near as cool without Julea's staging. All of the furnishings and accents she brought were perfect. They accentuated the home's architecture, and made it 'hip,' sleek and something to drool over. She coordinated the whole thing perfectly with the furniture rental company, and met her deadline to precision. I hired Julea for consulting services in my new home, and ideas to help optimize the flow in a tight space. She arrived to my home on time with a big smile on her face. She came in and didn't waste anytime, we went straight to business looking at my space.
