I can honestly say without Alice's help on our whole house remodel, my husband and I would probably no longer be on speaking terms. When undertaking such a large sale project there are so many decisions to make and trying to anticipate every possible future consideration would have been impossible without her experience. She kept everything running smoothly which was quite a feat since it can be hard to find construction people when they are heavily in demand. Since she has excellent taste, my husband and I both felt comfortable with accepting many of her recommendations. For example, she proposed a seating arrangement in our formal sitting room that we were initially skeptical about and it turned out to be something we both love and has made the room so much more livable. She paired the seating with an amazing custom wood coffee table that wows visitors. She listened to what we wanted and then offered options while keeping within our budget. Even though the landscaping was originally not part of the project, when my husband expressed his desire to simplify the landscape to free up some of his time, Alice was able to find the right people to get the job done. She is very professional and she works with likewise other professionals. A couple of things I would like to point out that were particularly helpful to me. If I was not available to be at home for whatever reason, Alice would schedule things so that she could be there to accept deliveries or supervise. If the work wasn't done right or up to my husband's exacting standards, Alice was relentless in making sure that it was fixed and sometimes this took multiple tries. She responded quickly to all my texts and was always cheerful no matter the problems. Also, an added bonus, she was willing to figure out ways to get some of the perfectly good stuff being removed from my house recycled.

Alice and I have worked together several times in the past. I highly recommend her as she strives for perfection and has a keen eye for style with the ability to work within your budget. Her knowledge and ability to meet deadlines gives clients confidence in her work.

I appreciated the opportunity to review large size fabric samples in my home where I could really see how they looked with my paint and decor. The samples were much larger than the ones you get through the mail. For any that I was more interested in, Alice provided a computer simulation of how the shades would look in different styles (e.g. soft-fold roman shades vs flat roman shades) on actual windows. Alice was pleasant, professional, and provided good follow-up service.

I was looking for some window treatments for a large patio door. Alice called to make the appointment with me, asked me a lot of questions about my project and when she showed up for the appointment she gave me several options that were available. She was wonderful to work with. What I like most was that she wasn't afraid to tell me if something wouldn't look good and gave me other options to choose from. I would use her and Smith and Noble again. Would definitly recommned her to others.

Alice assisted me with the selection and ordering of window treatments for 4 different windows in my house in 4 different rooms. I had an idea of what I wanted for each window; she listened to my thoughts and a lecture on what I knew my husband would hate (anything with a "hippie" vibe), and then she helped me narrow down the choices and make an appropriate selection for each room. In the kitchen she actually nudged me to look at a fabric I probably wouldn't have chosen on my own - and I love it! She was on-time to each of our meetings and always showed up looking chic - like a true Designer! She even came to the installation appointment, which I wouldn't have expected. I definitely recommend Alice, and would gladly work with her again.

Absolutely love Alice's designer eye and enthusiasm. She understood my style preference and the new look I was trying to achieve in my bedroom and kitchen/dining space. I now have stylist shutters in my newly remodeled bedroom and solar shades in the kitchen/dining space. All this without a lot of fuss!!!

I couldn't be more happy with the natural, grass and reed Roman style window treatments that Alice helped me to choose. She was knowledgeable, funny, listened to my ideas and hopes, and guided me expertly to the shades right for us. I was completely overwhelmed looking at Smith and Noble's vast catalog, but Alice got us right to the point and the process was smooth and fun. Ordering was easy though her, installation was also smooth sailing and very professional. They look so GREAT and have pulled together the other changes we made during the renovation.

I have seen many examples of Alice's creative and eye catching design projects both on a professional and personal level. She listens to what is needed and wanted and designs to fit those needs. The results are unique and in my case, improved the quality of our home life by making it a beautiful place to live. Alice is professional and on time and stays within the budget. She worked on every room in our house including the two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, family room and back porch and front porch. It makes living and entertaining in our house so much more fun and pleasurable.
