We really enjoyed working with Kirsten and Danielle from Palmerston. They listened to our wants and needs throughout the design process and provided thoughtful recommendations. We appreciated their balance between functional/budget-friendly and style/quality. Our favourite part about the kitchen is the stainless steel island! This is something we would not have considered on our own.

I highly recommend Palmerston Design! Everything from start to finish was warm and professional. We had a very tight turnaround and they took care of everything. All the correspondence and design proposals were delivered in a very timely manner. They took all of our needs into consideration that we expressed from our first consult and the whole project came together without a hiccup and on time. We are in love with our new space! Our experience was so positive that we wouldn't consider going with anyone other than Palmerston Design for our next project.

Palmerston Design Consultants was recommended to me by two friends. Kirsten did an amazing job figuring me out and really understanding the type of look that I wanted. As well, the team was very responsive, flexible and added tremendous value throughout the project. They were also top notch as it related to deadlines, budgets and after-project service.

We have worked with Kirsten Marshall at Palmerston Design on two large projects, a lake house and city house. I can't say enough good things about her professionalism, her innate talent and her ability to take the best of my husband's and my disparate tastes and make them work together. The whole team is easily available and ready to help even now as our needs have become relatively small. We are lucky to have found them.

I met Kirsten and was very happy with her and her ideas. Unfortunately I hired the worst contractor and the project suffered immensely. It was sad that Kirsten could not then complete her ideas and I truly wish she could have followed through with them.

Kirsten also has an accommodating and courteous staff to welcome your phone calls. I hired Kirsten to help me with my kitchen and mudroom renovation. I am thrilled with the end result! Kirsten has a great eye and came up with a design that was a perfect blend of the clean lines that I had requested, and the ornate details of my Victorian period home. Every detail was carefully considered: the sight lines from the front of the house into the kitchen, the materials used and how they related to the rest of the house, the proportions of the new design as they related to the rest of the main floor. I appreciated the practicality she brought to the project as well. She thought about the use of the space (flow of people into and out of the space, location of storage and whether there was enough of it, various types of lighting to set different moods) and her design reflected the realities of the way that my family lives. She was fantastic to work with and I highly recommend her. Thanks Kirsten!

Kirsten and her group (particularly Ashley and Naomi) could not have been more helpful. This was our first reno and we were nervous after hearing some horror stories about other renos. But Palmerston Design alleviated all our concerns by first hiring a top notch contracting team (Caliber Group Ltd). But it was on the design side where Palmerston truly shined. They understood our taste and simply steered us in the right direction rather than trying to force an aesthetic on us. And they were also aware of sticking to a budget, often finding things for less than we had allotted. And at the end of the day they were just great people to work with. I would highly recommend them.

We absolutely LOVE our new livingroom that Palmerston designed. They were able to weave in our love of travel, a little bohemia and some contemporary touches. Not an easy ask but they did it and everyone raves about it. They really brought the space to life, it totally feels like us! Thank you thank you!
