Carolyn Coffman began her company, Palladio Interior Design, in 1986 after 13 years working in high-end residential and architectural interiors in the Midwest and New York areas.
Best known for her timeless interiors and ability to master many styles, Carolyn’s rooms reflect a strong sense of composition and color with layered details that appear effortlessly conceived yet always warm and inviting. Wallace Toscano is a native New Yorker. He received his architectural degree from the University of Illinois in 1963. He is married to Carolyn Coffman an Interior designer.
Prior to starting his own firm in 1992, Wally was Director of Design and Vice President of nationally and international renowned firm specializing in residential, commercial and health care facilities. During those years he was involved with a very exiting array of large project such as design studies for remodeling Madison Square Garden, The New York Hilton, resort complexes in the Caribbean, high rise office buildings, and corporate office complexes in New Jersey and over 25 major health care facilities through out the United States.
In 1992 he started his own practice in Chappaqua, NY. The practice is diverse and includes private residential project such as large private homes, a very wide spectrum of remodeling and alteration projects such as master bedroom suites, kitchens, family rooms, basement refinishing, and pool houses. The firm has also worked on a number of restaurants, health care, multifamily housing and large number of interior design projects which does with his wife, an interior designer Carolyn Coffman. Wally’s approach to architecture is simple and direct. Each client is a potential patron and friend. That says a lot. It means that each project demands all of his attention, talents, and organizational and technological skills.
Upon completion of the design phase construction documents are prepared which set forth in an extremely detailed fashion exactly how the project is to be built. Basic services always include assistance in finding the right contractor and, of course, remaining in frequent contact with the project during construction so as to be assured that the project is being built accordance with the drawings.
