We were very happy with our experience with the women at Niche. They are an efficient, well-organized, motivated group of talented designers who really take the time to get to know their clients. We were pleasantly surprised with how easy the process was. From the very beginning, they understood our style and vision, and the selection process was simple and straightforward. Every encounter whether in person, by phone, or email was timely and easy to understand. We were kept in the loop every step of the way, and the end product is beautiful.

It is hard to know where to start when reflecting on our absolutely OUTSTANDING experience in working with Jennifer and her team. First, I should say that my wife and I were quite apprehensive about hiring a designer. We tend to have fairly specific tastes and worried that we would we would end up paying someone but in the end, just doing the work ourselves. Then we met Jennifer. What was clear from the start is that Jennifer and her team were there to help us design our home in the way that WE wanted. There was a simple, straightforward, streamlined process to to get a sense for our tastes, and after we completed this process, the degree to which Jennifer and her team got our aesthetic blew our minds. While it was nice to have such high confidence in the design team so early in the process, where this really made a difference was in our meetings when choosing items for our house. Jennifer's team presented us was a small handful of options for the various furnishings we were looking for and there were always 1-2 options that were PERFECT. This made the meetings both incredibly efficient and super exciting. Not only did the team choose items that perfectly fit within our aesthetic preferences, they also exposed us to new ideas and designs that we liked better than anything we would have ever chosen for ourselves. The designers all possess a perfect balance between deference and opinionated-ness and were able to gently coach us through our decision making process while always making sure we felt heard. And all along the way, the team was clear and transparent (and accurate!) about cost, availability, and timeline for all of the items we were interested in, which helped us plan and budget throughout the process. After our decision making meetings were done, what was most impressive was Jennifer and her team's continued involvement and responsiveness. Our projects consisted of a kitchen remodel, building a new bathroom, and furnishing several rooms (family room, media room, bedroom, dining room, and outdoor space) and as we waiting for our furniture and worked on the house, ideas and preferences changed. Anytime we had a question, we could call, write, or text and we would have a response usually within an hour, and always the same day. When we wanted something to change, Jennifer and her team though creatively about how to make it work with a primary goal of us feeling great about the process and our decisions. And let me say, now that we have all of the furniture in our space, saying we feel great is a huge understatement. We have never been happier in any space we have lived in, ever. And so much of that is thanks to the Niche team and the thought and care they put in to helping us design our space. I had no idea how much good design could help me feel at peace in my home, could help encourage our kids to play in new spaces and in new ways, and could motivate me to spend more time cooking in our re-designed kitchen. What Jennifer and her team did which I did not expect at the beginning of this process, was they genuinely improved our quality of life. It's not just about how the space feels, but about how we live in it, and looking back, Jennifer and her team were thinking about this outcome the entire time. The team continues to stay responsive and involved while we add furnishings here and there, and to supervise the deliver of all of our furniture. It has been so pleasant to work with this team, that I am actively looking for other design projects to involve them in. I have worked with several professionals on various home projects over the years, and I can say that hands down, Jennifer and her team have been the most professional, reliable, and skilled group with whom I have ever worked. We thought we had a sense of what to expect from this process, but we really had no idea. This team of designers have helped bring joy and beauty to our lives that we are now experiencing every day. I cannot recommend them enough.

There is a big difference between a very good and an outstanding interior design firm. While most people end up somewhere on the spectrum of the former, working with Niche for the past few years has given me an experience of the latter- and it has set a new standard for me for the type of firm that I will work with on this type of project. Jennifer and her team are timely, responsive and professional in every regard. They are proactive and efficient with their time and complete and comprehensive with their deliverables. These are things that you often get with very good firms. What makes them outstanding is their unwavering dedication to creating the ultimate environment, within the brief and the constraints that they’re given. Our project actually had a ton of constraints. We bought several acres of land in Napa and decided to work with Blu and their pre-fabricated Breezehouse and Origin pods. While these modules could look and feel pretty generic, we had a vision of taking their product to another level. Looking back at the process now that we’re in the home — that’s exactly what the Niche team has done for us. Jennifer and her colleagues each got to know our interests, preferences, and aspirations for the space through a series of discussions that gave us absolute confidence that we were on the same team. And then Jennifer is simply a top-notch designer. She has a amazing eye for design, color, composition, placement and how and when to engage you in her thought process. Her clarity and conviction helped us make so many of the choices that were tough for me and my wife. Sitting here now, our Napa home is stunning. I walk around each day feeling incredibly happy and peaceful in the environment. The colors and aesthetic are soothing, the art is inspiring and the attention to detail is never lost on me. I feel deeply grateful and fortunate that I had the opportunity to partner with Jennifer and Niche and hope to do so on my next project. The bar that they’ve set will be tricky for any other team to meet.

Niche Interiors has a wonderful team. This team of professionals have a great eye for aesthetics and translate them into looks that are within your budget and desires. They will work with modifying anything that you want to tweak and they know just where to source the best stuff. They are incredibly responsive, talented, and nice to work with. I have had two projects with them and all are fluid and seamless. What was especially nice for us was that they have a storage vendor where you can store items that are arriving, and they will assemble to see if the product has any defects. If it does, they also handle the return and exchange. If you want worry-free design and install, make it a Niche Interiors project.

Jennifer and the Niche team are fun to work with, efficient, and respectful of budgets and timelines. They offer aesthetically beautiful guidance while listening to and incorporating client priorities. If I had to pick one talent that I think shines most brilliantly among Niche’s many talents, I think the sense of color in recommending paints and fabrics is the most outstanding. They know how to make everything harmonize. At design meetings, they present choices in a range of styles and prices, but not so many choices as to be overwhelming. They are happy to offer more options if requested. If there is a problem with a custom piece after delivery, they work with the vendor to remediate the problem. My husband and I downsized from our large family home to a small, single level home befitting our retirement lifestyle. We thought living smaller might feel like a step down, but thanks to outstanding aesthetic guidance, we greatly prefer our newly remodeled, more intimate space. We selected Niche after an extensive online search because we loved the photographs we saw on Houzz. The idea we initially presented to Jennifer is that we wanted to create a calm, contemporary, spa like environment and we wanted to incorporate art pieces from our family home. Niche worked seamlessly and collaboratively with us and with our outstanding contractor. The ordinary downsize house we bought was transformed into a contemporary and beautiful oasis. Jennifer and the Niche team made creating the home of our dreams a reality and total pleasure. If there were more than 5 stars to give, we would give them.

My husband and I consider the wonderful ladies at Niche our design dream team. We were completely new to design and furnishing a home. It is clear from their portfolio that they have impeccable taste and that is why we chose them. (Check out their Instagram!) However, what sets them apart is the customer experience you get. Everyone on their team is extremely professional, while being friendly and warm. They hold themselves to the highest standard and it is a joy to work with them. We found picking furniture to be very overwhelming but they put us at ease and held our hand through the entire process. We naturally gravitate towards boring furniture and we needed lots of help making decisions that would create a warm and inviting space. We often said, "Save us from ourselves!" We also were very budget conscious given that we had a lot of space to furnish. They listened and presented us with options that worked well for us. The real test is when there is a bump in the road. When we've had the occasional issue with vendors during this process, Niche has always gone above and beyond to give us a great experience and make things right. Every interaction we have had with them impresses us. They get it. And they have earned our respect and trust.

I’d bookmarked the Niche Interiors website two years before I first contacted Jennifer, because I was so impressed with their work and knew if I ever had a design project, I’d call Niche first. Eventually, I had a whole house to design: remodeling and furnishing over 3,000 square feet from floor to ceiling. For someone who has never done more than order chain-store sofas over the Internet, this was a daunting assignment. Fortunately, I found that Niche bookmark, because Jennifer and her team went far beyond my expectations, not only in designing every inch of my new home, but in managing the entire project and keeping my anxiety in check, no small achievement in itself. In the first weeks, Niche took measurements of everything and started visualizing the project right away. Simultaneously, they got a thorough sense of both my design aesthetic and budget, and in a matter of weeks, provided options for paint, layouts, cabinets, and fixtures. And soon after that, they presented me with a wide array of furniture possibilities for every room, from gorgeous chairs and tables manufactured by small companies to great one-of-a-kind custom pieces from local furniture builders. And they included budget items, too, so I could best decide how to most efficiently spend my money. Niche also suggested some lovely hand-sewn rugs and unique upholstery fabrics, which further elevated every room. Considering all the great work Jennifer and her small team did, and how smoothly they did it, it seemed like I’d hired a much larger company. The Niche team is either amazingly efficient or they’ve somehow adapted to surviving on two hours sleep a night. The bottom line, of course, is my home, which is the manifestation of everything I could’ve possibly desired. Each room feels comfortable and organic but is also perfectly in sync with an elegant Mid-century modern aesthetic. All the beautiful furniture, lighting, tiles, window treatments, the gorgeous upholstery, the custom shelving, even a custom iron book-rack for my library, make every room a delight. The library itself started as an awkwardly shaped office in a dark corner of the house and now it’s perfectly warm and inviting. I also gave Niche the peculiar task of turning another drab corner room into a perfume laboratory, and they managed to find just the right items and combine them with some perfectly placed custom-built shelves, and what started as an unremarkable extra bedroom is now a beautiful showcase. Niche not only saved me an incredible amount of time, they designed a home more attractive and stylish than I could have imagined. Jennifer and her team are both extremely talented and diligent, and I’m forever grateful to them. And to myself for not deleting that old bookmark!

I cannot say enough good things about the work of Niche Interiors on our recent project. My company, APP Properties, Inc. runs specialized facilities for the use of passengers and pilots on private jets--an affluent customer base with very high expectations . We need clean, modern and stylish facilities. I chose Niche because their work was clearly a cut above the work of standard commercial interior designers. The product was exactly what I envisioned-- clean, bright, simple but uniquely stylish. The interior of our waiting area is unique in many ways, using residential design elements in a commercial setting. The product is warm, bright and welcoming. Moreover Niche "got" what I was looking for, despite the fact that I couldn't perfectly verbalize my thoughts when we started. They delivered samples for me to choose which gave me a wide range of choice, but were all consistent with the design I was looking for. And they executed the job flawlessly-- billing was clear and well documented, deadlines were met as projected. Niche made it easy to get what I was looking for and they executed the job perfectly.

We recently worked with Jen from Niche on a major remodel of our kitchen, dining and living room space. Previously we've worked with her for other remodels in our house. Jen and her team did an amazing job with the design and aesthetic of our modern home. We have kids and wanted it modern yet livable and she was able to help us find the perfect combination. Jen's choice in material made our place look phenomenal, all within budget. Jen was very easy to work with and she made things easy throughout what could of been a stressful project. We recently completed a new home construction and hired Niche Interiors. Prior to hiring Jennifer and team, we had an abysmal experience with another SF-based designer on the very same project. In contrast to this other firm, we can easily say that working with Niche Interiors has been a breeze. There are too many positives to list so I will just highlight a few. - The design process, from start to finish, was easy. Niche took the time to understand our likes and dislikes. The carefully curated pieces they selected were spot-on while staying within the parameters of our budget. - We have two young and very messy kids. Niche was great in recommending furniture and fabrics that are kid-friendly without sacrificing style. - Meetings were extremely efficient. Communication was never an issue - they are extremely prompt in returning emails and following up. We had an issue with a custom dining table and Niche stayed on top of things to make sure the repairs were made in a timely manner. But perhaps just as important, everyone that we encountered at Niche was super nice which made the whole process that much better. We highly recommend them!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jennifer and her team at Niche Interiors for the past year. They have helped pick finishes and paint colors for a remodel of 2 bathrooms, as well as new furniture, window treatments, flooring, rugs etc. for the rest of my home (5 bedrooms, living, dining, family rooms and an exterior kitchen deck and patio.) From day one, I was presented with an amazing array of beautiful options at various price points that made the decision process easy. They understood that I was budget conscious and were extremely flexible in helping me use the budget in the most impactful ways. We furnished 2 kids bedrooms, a playroom, and a guest bedroom using relatively inexpensive retail options that wound up looking fantastic. Meanwhile, the more upscale formal rooms with custom furnishings are just spectacular. Aside from their amazing design sense, what I may have appreciated the most was that I never felt like my time was wasted. The design process can be overwhelming but they are extremely organized. Meetings would be very short and I was able to make decisions feeling confident that everything would look pulled together and beautiful in the end. I highly recommend Niche Interiors for anyone searching for the intersection of impeccable taste and remarkable efficiency.

We loved Niche Interiors! First of all, the finished project is beautiful and exactly what I hoped. The people of Niche were such great listeners, from hearing and understanding how we wanted to handle the process to the style we wanted. For the former, they quickly understood that, although we had a very specific style in mind, we wanted to be bothered with the process as little as possible (I appreciate their patience with us!). They provided just the right amount of support to make that happen. For instance, for a specific item, they would give a tightly yet thoughtfully curated selection of choices. If we were indecisive, they would quickly, but with a good explanation, cull down the options. Sometimes, if there was really no preference, they very matter-of-factly would make the choice based on cost. That was another thing I appreciated about Niche--that they were sensitive to cost, but also weren't afraid to show us something that would be a big splurge. They also knew how to allocate the costs effectively--for instance, areas that would suffer more wear and tear got the less expensive (but still quite stylish and good quality) items, while the more public areas got the more expensive ones. Niche was also very good about listening and comprehending what we style we wanted. I really liked the process we went through to figure out our style. First I sent them a bunch of photos on Houzz that I liked. They then sent me what they thought was our style, complete with photos of their own. This made it clear where we needed to steer them in a different direction. On the same note, Niche was so welcoming of feedback, even negative feedback. I was pretty blunt with them about things I didn't like about what they thought was our style. Not only did they immediately adjust their analysis of what we wanted, but they even expressed appreciation of my willingness to give negative feedback! I really felt like, although they want to create something beautiful, they were not so emotionally tied to their creation that they couldn't change parts of it to please us, their clients. Finally, they really held our hands during the entire process. There were two separate instances where we ran into big problems with vendors, and in both instances they either were very willing to or, of their own volition, took over the interactions with the vendor and made everything run smoothly (at least on my side). I've been fielding so many compliments for work which has nothing to do with me, but everything to do with Niche. Most importantly, we love our home and how it looks!

I needed to remodel two small bathrooms, and refurnish a living room and a bedroom. I found Jennifer on Houzz by searching for designers in San Francisco. I liked Niche Interiors description of what they did, as well as their portfolio photos. The reviews I read were all positive, and so I decided to use them for my project. Of course, you never know how things will really turn out. I'm pleased to say my experience with Niche Interiors was similar to others who have reviewed them. Jennifer and her team were great. I had never used a designer before, so this was a first for me. In our first meeting, Jennifer explained the entire process she would use, which made great sense to me. Everything was very clear. Jennifer first had me go through various room photos, selecting which ones I liked and disliked. This was all aimed at getting a sense of my "taste." Then they measured all of the rooms, and drew up floor plans. For the living room and bedroom, Jennifer gave me a layout for the new furniture. For the bathrooms, she provided drawings that clearly showed the new layout. The selection of materials and fixtures for the bathroom, and the new furniture for the living room and bedroom, was also well organized. Several different options were given at different price points. This was all presented in an Excel spreadsheet. As I made selections I could see exactly what I would be spending. The project dragged out quite a bit, but that was because of the contractor, not Jennifer. When the contractor was done, and all of the furniture had arrived, Jennifer came out for the "big reveal." I came in and saw the complete transformation of my living space. I am extremently pleased with the results. It's exactly the "look" I wanted. I have had nothing but compliments from my friends on "my good taste." I can't really take credit for someone else's work, so I always say that Niche Interiors deserves all the credit.

Jennifer and her team were a dream to work with. My husband had past experiences with other interior designers, but this was my first time and I feel so lucky that it was with Niche Interiors. They were professional, warm and fun to work with. They made it easy and exciting! It was such a fun experience for the both of us. There are a number of things that stand out in my mind but I will share two of what I consider the most important: 1. My husband and I have different styles and just picking out a piece of art or an object to display can take some time until we agree. They were able to blend our two esthetics beautifully and painlessly. Of course there was plenty of conversations that my husband and I had, but the decisions were made pretty easily. 2. They are so organized in their entire approach. There are detailed budgets, pictures, binders, etc. I never felt like I didn't know what was going on at anytime. I would highly recommend (and have!) Niche Interiors- they have great style and so much fun to work with!

After disappointing experiences with two other interior design firms, I learned that Niche was available to help me decorate our house. I was more than ready to start the process of making my house livable, and Jen and Lynn jumped on my project immediately. They were extremely responsive, respectful, and well-organized. They really listened to what I wanted and this made for a very smooth and efficient process. They gave me excellent options for each of the pieces I needed and gave good guidance when I was having trouble making up my mind. They were also very mindful of our budget, giving us good advice on where to splurge and where to save. Also, I was quite specific about our needs as a growing family, and Jen and her team had a great sense for how to make the house kid-friendly but still beautiful and interesting. I also really appreciated that they weren't afraid to give me candid suggestions. For example, I initially would have stuck to all neutrals, but they helped give me new perspective on adding a bit of color here and there, and I now see how right they were about it! I couldn't be happier with the end result. I feel like our house truly reflects our personal style without sacrificing any functionality. Working with Niche Interiors has been a complete pleasure, especially right after the nightmarish experience we had with an egomaniac designer/contractor on a different house. Jennifer and her team are focused and efficient. They listened carefully and spent the time to figure out exactly what we liked and what we wanted. Their design process is fluid with repeated feedback and communication. They understand getting it right the first time is important. Our house instantly transformed into a place we could enjoy as soon as the new paint job was done with the colors that Jennifer picked for/with us. After the furniture arrived, we were awed by how well everything came together. The final results exceeded all our expectations by a mile. I remember vividly the looks of our baby sitters and friends when they walked into our living room for the first time and the "wow" out of their mouths. In my opinion, Jennifer and her team's design is beautiful yet extremely functional. They are great with colors and space. Their design really improved our lives! I can't recommend her highly enough to anybody who is looking for an interior designer.

Jen and Lynn at Niche did an amazing job for us. We built a new home and engaged Niche Interiors as we were finishing plans with our architect. Jen worked closely with us to help develop layouts, and choose furniture, materials, rugs, lamps, window coverings, etc. etc. They made a super-complicated process incredibly simple, whether we were ordering a new couch from Italy or refurbishing an older lamp we already owned, converting chairs to eliminate the flame retarding chemicals. Jen also helped design a custom table, advised on the selection of the perfect wood / tree (really!), received all our furniture, managed returns and repairs for furniture that came in damaged from shipment, and set things up beautifully, while we were out of town. Truly amazing. I cannot recommend her and Niche more highly!

We hired Niche Interiors to help us furnish a new house. It's our first house that we've owned, so we were pretty much starting from scratch. Jennifer helped us with our son's bedroom, eat-in kitchen, family room, living room, and den as well as paint selection and window coverings for the entire house. She was also great about providing quick input (yay or nay) on other rooms that we had chosen to do ourselves to save budget. We absolutely love the results! One of her references had told us that their house 'feels like us, only better' and that's exactly how we feel. It doesn't feel like a decorator's house - it feels like our house, but done in a much nicer way than we could have pulled together on our own. Jen pushed us to take a few risks that we would have been nervous to do on our own - and they really elevate the look. One year later, we still 100% love it. The thing we appreciated most about Jennifer is that she was very conscious of our budget and does an amazing job of mixing & matching mass produced items with more expensive custom pieces to achieve a custom look for a lot less. She also made the process very easy for us by giving us a very curated set of options that we could choose from for each major item - allowing us to make the decision ourselves, but very efficiently. She also found a way to incorporate some key pieces we already owned - but wasn't shy about telling us which things had to go. I guess the ultimate recommendation is that we're adding a master suite to our house and have asked her to help us again!

We bought a new home that needed a ton of work and we wanted to go in an entirely new design direction. Niche Interiors simplified the process immensely. They helped us establish our new style and provided enough design selections that we didn't feel overwhelmed, but definitely had enough choices to make selections within our budget. We managed to integrate some of our existing furniture and incorporate a lot of new pieces so that I feel like we have a perfect blend of both while achieving the contemporary new look I was hoping for. Jennifer helped us furnish/decorate our living room, dining room, and office. My husband and I really had no idea how to describe our exact tastes, but Niche has an excellent design process that helped us to identify our style and vision for our home. By answering questions about our interests and describing our likes/dislikes of of images of furnished rooms, we were able to clearly identify what type of ambiance we wanted in our new home. Jennifer made the entire selection process fun and easy. She provided several furniture selections of varying price points, but kept the entire layout all within our planned budget. Several options included either custom-made or store-bought selections. Thankfully, she challenged us to look outside comfort zone for color selection, and we ended up with some beautiful patterned fabrics that really make our place. We absolutely love our new rooms. Every time people come over, they comment on the beautiful layout, furniture design, and color combinations. Jennifer and her team are great to work with and I would (and do) HIGHLY recommend Niche to anyone.

We moved into a new house, and wanted to make it feel like home. Niche Interiors worked with us for 10 months to make it happen, and we could not be happier. Specifically, they suggested the color scheme for the entire interior, window treatments, designed the floor plans for the living room, family room, all the bedrooms, the office, the entryway, and the entertainment room. They also worked with us to implement the floor plans, with an elegant mix of custom-made and retail pieces. I really appreciated their intuition, understanding of our tastes, vast professional knowledge, and efficiency of their work process. Jen and Lynn have an amazing intuition for color and space dimension. Our previous home had a very different style, and I needed help with selecting the new color scheme. Jen suggested to go with a combination of blues and grays - to reflect on the views of the bay. We are so happy with how it all turned out. I have also worked with Niche on designing our office workspace for 2-3 people. It had to work for both school age kids and adults in the house. Lynn worked with us to understand our needs, created the elevations for the office cabinets and worked with a woodworking specialist to implement the solution. While before the homework has been done on any flat surface in the house, kids now like the space, and it became their primary homework hub. We also worked together on the remodel of our entertainment room, and Niche was instrumental in choosing details big and small, from picking out the colors and the styles for the cabinets, to knobs/pulls, and counter-top backsplash. The space is beautiful, we get compliments on it from all of our friends. Lastly, I really appreciated that Niche is meticulous about keeping records - having just moved into the house, my filing system was a mess, and I sometimes had to go back to them for reminders about the selection details. They always had them at their fingertips. I am sad to have all the projects coming to an end, I really enjoyed working with Niche. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a group of talented, energetic, and versatile designer specialists!

After having two boys and spending a few years decorating nurseries and toddler rooms, it was time to finally have the master bedroom we always wanted. I had the pleasure of collaborating with Jennifer Jones to adapt some of our furniture designs for a very special project in the Bay area. With Jennifer's understanding of her client's spatial needs we were able to successfully adapt our Ascot side chair so that the chair kept it's delicate elegance but still retained it's lumbar support and comfort-ability. My husband and I had recently bought our first home and knew we needed somebody with an experienced eye in interior design to help us select paint colors, window treatments and furniture for our dining room, living room and bedrooms. We found Niche Interiors' website and, based on the aesthetic and diversity of style in we saw in the photos of Jennifer's projects, we knew we had found the right person. Jennifer worked with us to hone in on our aesthetic and, while she did the work of choosing the combinations of colors, patterns, etc. that worked together for our spaces, she provided us with options that made us feel very much like we were part of the process. She has a very keen understanding of how to combine design, comfort, style and functionality and, in addition, she has seemingly wonderful relationships with the vendors who she works with so her clients can be assured great quality and timeliness in what they order. We are thrilled with what Jennifer has done for us and finally feel like we live in a designed space that feels like "us".

We hired Niche Interiors this past summer (June 2011) to design three rooms for us from scratch, in addition to paint selections for the rest of our flat, and floor plans for the bedrooms. Jennifer delivered exactly what we wanted, even though we had little idea of what we wanted at the beginning. Multiple conversations and viewing different design styles ensured we were all moving in the right direction each step of the way. We went in thinking we knew our design taste and realized our tastes are much broader than we originally thought. The design we agreed upon fit our taste and the style of the space perfectly. Jennifer knew we were budget conscious (who isn't these days), but that didn't throw her. She picked out at least three options at different prices for every piece. It allowed us to put our money towards the items that were important to us and save money on things that weren't, while still creating a cohesive design. The couple of times we had a miscommunication or a problem it was quickly addressed, taken seriously, and solved to our satisfaction. We have already recommended her services to multiple friends and look forward to working with her again! We have two bedrooms and a bathroom remodel with her name on it!

Description Of Work: Jennifer Jones, owner, met with us to discuss an overall decorating plan for our new condo. She listened to our wants and needs and designed an overall plan for the living room, dining room, office, family room, kitchen, master bedroom. She had floor plans, furniture suggestions, paint colors & rug suggestions. We aren’t fancy people and we didn’t want anything over the top, but wanted a comfortable and affordable ‘make-over’ using some of our existing furniture along with recommendations for new furniture. Member Comments: Jennifer Jones was extremely reasonably priced, professional, organized, was well-prepared for our meetings. She was a good listener to what we wanted. Was not offended if we went with something else slightly different. If we suggested an idea she would let us know honestly if it would work or not and gave us reasons why something wouldn’t work. She was able to work well within our budget. Jennifer also has a great website www.nicheinteriors.com, along with a blog where she makes suggestions on decorating and gives the consumer ideas on where to shop for furniture, recycled & reclaimed home products too. I have no hesitation in recommending Niche Interiors.

This was my first experience working with an interior decorator and I was nervous that I was going to end up with a room that was more their style and not mine. That was not the case with Jennifer! Jennifer really listened to what I had in mind and how I intended to use the space. She also had me look through pictures and identify what I liked/disliked in each one. I think this really helped me also get a sense of the feel of the room that I was looking for. I also loved that for each piece that was recommended, Jennifer provided three pricing options. This allowed me to really mix and match from big box stores and unique items. It also helped me stay within a budget I was comfortable with. Throughout the process, Jennifer was always in communication and let me know where we were with each item. This was a wonderful experience and I am so happy with both the living room and media room.

I found Niche Interiors on Apartment Therapy magazine while searching for a small space designer in San Francisco. My experience with Niche and what I learned while working with Jennifer has literally changed my life. From our first meeting at my tiny apartment Jennifer saw possibilities; I was downsizing from a two bedroom condo to a Jr. one bedroom with no dining area, a tiny kitchen, and no place to work, she had to incorporate all of this into my main living area. She provided excellent Excel sheets with the furniture, fixtures, flooring, lighting, etc. this was very useful in the budget process. I was able to stick pretty close to my initial budget. I chose to exceed my budget because I decided to redo the wood floors and I had to have a Jonathan Adler light fixture. I do not regret these choices. I also want to state how responsive Niche was at every step during the process. I had many questions and these were answered, if not within hours, within a day. I highly recommend Niche Interiors. They are knowledgeable, have a great attitude and most importantly a keen ability to really tap into a client's personal style.

I used Niche Interiors to help me decorate and stylize my condo and it turned out amazing! The thing I was most impressed with was her ability to capture the essence of my personality and interests and transform it into fashionable interior design qualities. She was also easy to work with and provided plenty of suggestions that allowed me to have a wide selection of choices. I would highly recommend her to any friends.
