While at workshop/apd I have had the pleasure of working w/ Karen and her team on a series of projects of all scales on Nantucket. She always does fantastic work in a timely manner. Her teams diverse skill set allows them to further enhance our architecture. We highly recommend their services and I can't wait to work w/ them again here at studio PPARK.

As the G.C. for a new house, I hired Karen to do a ceiling treatment in a high end home last spring. Karen spent a great deal of time doing samples till we had the right look. She showed up every time she said she would. In spite of the client making changes, she finished on time and at the price I was given. Karen is very professional and her attention to detail is impressive. The client was extremely pleased and her work is a focal point in the house.

Karen 's company redid the walls of three rooms in our house , so that they now have an antique plaster look . They look fabulous and everyone comments on them. In addition, she runs an amazing job site . I would leave In the morning for work , come home at 5:00 and all materials would have been removed, furniture dusted and floors vacuumed . Can't wait to redo the next room !

I could never say enough about the amazing job Karen Ward did for us, both artistically and professionally. She transformed a large wood counter into what now looks like an industrial metal counter, which was the look we wanted for our wine and liquor store. She also hand painted signs above our wine bins directly on the walls that look amazing! Her talent is beyond belief.........She did the work on schedule and was great to work with.

Made an entire house worth of knots in hardwood flooring blend in seamlessly. This was no easy task especially since each not had to be done by hand with a small brush! Excellent decorative painter.

I have had the pleasure of working with Karen Ward and Nantucket Decorative Painting for the past 10 years. She is a joy to have on the job site, a professional in the true sense, with a remarkable eye for color and ability to use both new and old techniques to create what I was looking for. Whether it is the whimsical hand painted designs over the hand painted rice paper in our entrance way or the soothing blue velvet plaster she created in my bedroom, each project is remarkable. My guests first comment is always about beautiful the entrance way is. But my favorite is the ever changing hues of the blue velvet plaster in the bedroom, which in the morning light is wonderfully luminescent. Her additions have made my house distinctive and unique. With Karen's help it now reflects my aesthetic, she has helped create my home. Karen is a true artist.

Decorative Painting Services. Excellent service. Karen Ward works with extremely well with our design firm, architects and builders. Karen is involved at every step of the design process, produces samples and easy to make changes with. The most important thing I find is that Karen is on the job site, with the approved sample and completely prepared to get the job done. She is extremely professional and gets the job done.

Over the past ten years I've had the opportunity to work alongside Karen and her crew as a decorative painter and have hired her to work on several high end residential interior design projects.
