I’m Miriam Ragen, a Newcastle/Hunter based Interior Stylist and Visual Merchandiser. My Passion is Interiors, I especially love Australian designers and have a huge appreciation of handcrafted furniture and décor. I’ve always loved Interiors but only came to realize I could make this a career about 2 years ago when my partner and I built our first home and decided to start a fresh and decorate from scratch. I found my calling. Before this I worked in various roles including as a Visual Merchandiser in the retail industry for 15 years which I also loved doing; therefore I am offering my knowledge and skills as a visual merchandiser as one of my services to shop owners. As an Interior Stylist my services cover that top layer (I think the most fun one) of decorating your space…choosing a colour scheme, furniture and décor. When it comes to my home I personally like it to feel comfy and lived in. My own style is a little eclectic; it incorporates a bit of Scandinavian, Vintage and Industrial Styles. I can either use touches of this in your space (if you like my style) or produce a completely original look for your space. Either way I would delight in styling an inviting home/space that you will love being in!
