MEGG COOK design

I have worked with Megg before on a home study update and was as thrilled with that project as I am with the kitchen/family renovation we recently finished. Megg was able to give me the kitchen/family room I have always dreamed about. She is very easy to work with and has a great eye for unique furniture, textures and colors that really brought my space together. I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted but needed someone to help me achieve that vision who knew what is out there and how to get the job done. My home is pretty traditional and with the renovation we wanted to combine a clean-lined modern aesthetic with traditional elements and Megg did just that. I recommend her highly. You won't be disappointed.

Megg is awesome. The first time she came into my home she put me quite at ease. I had been quite anxious because I had worked with some designers before and while I thought I liked what they were doing, after the project was completed, I was really disappointed. Not so with Megg! I think she has a very unique style which is sophisticated yet still homey. I was most impressed by her ability to turn my very ugly very dominant fireplace, which clearly had a design defect from the start into the most beautiful focal point in my room. Her concepts are fresh and clean and are withstanding the test of time. It's been three years since she first worked on my family room and I love the room more and more each day.

Our go-to interior designer is Megg because we have worked with her before, she knows us, our style and how we want to transition our house into OUR home. We have loved everything we have worked on with her before, and so we go the tried, tested and true route. Megg is an experienced designer who makes a concerted effort to really understand the purpose for the room and personal preferences. For our homestudy room, we made a list of what we thought we needed and emailed Megg, asking her for a floor plan, furniture, color scheme as well as accessory recommendations. She has a great attitude - let's make it work and be beautiful, so Megg never disappoints! Quite simply, we loved the floor plan, the color scheme,the furniture and accessory recommendations. We have almost finished the room - just a few more things to put up when we have the time - but we enjoy using the room everyday. Megg listened carefully to our requirements and found several options. She listened to feedback and made updated suggestions in a helpful way, giving reasons for her recommendations. Megg respected our budget restrictions, and found items we loved that were within our price range. She consults when needed and communicated via email with us which was best for us with two young children, however, she always answered our calls when we needed to do that too. Megg is a thoughtful designer who draws upon her love of design by fusing form and function for each client.
