We are a London based Interior Design Studio - Best of Houzz 2020 & 2021 Our studio is small by design because we believe that this enables us to have a greater understanding of our clients, provide them an attentive service and ensure their satisfaction with the resulting scheme. We take time to listen and create a solution that surpasses the initial brief. The results speak for themselves with successful projects and being retained to work on multiple projects for our clients, also their confidence to recommend us for work with their friends and network. Our service guides clients through all stages of design and follows the RIBA Plan of Work, helping clients assess the financial aspects of their project, deciding what they would like to achieve and all stages through to an exceptional quality resolution. We take on the stress so that our clients don’t have to. Working on private spaces that are also substantial investments means we communicate frequently and are transparent in our working to reassure and to guide. We ensure that site works can proceed as smoothly and cost effectively as possible by taking time in the early stages to get the brief and the concept right and to ensure that we have worked through all the details before we begin construction. Design is then tailored to the people we work with and reflects their needs whether professionals, young families or retirees. The studio responds to the people and context without a formulaic design solution. We want to reflect personality, incorporate art works and loved furniture pieces whilst also optimising natural light and space, creating maximum storage and hidden surprises. The practice is built on Katie’s experience in central London property development, running her own building company and subsequent switch to providing an interior design service in 2003.
