Mary was fun to work with and made my kitchen remodel project run smoothly. I felt optimistic about the material and product choices. She helped narrow down choices when it was overwhelming for me to select items. Working with my current house style to incorporate a new updated coordinating look for my remodel areas was always on her mind when selecting items. The project stayed on track with my budget parameters, we shopped at quality stores and completed everything from my wish list! She worked with our contractor to ensure the project ran smoothly and on track. (Sometimes they were speaking about things so foreign to me that I was so glad to have her helping run everything!) Don’t delay hiring Mary for your project!

MASSEY DESIGN GROUP Review Our son-in-law referred us to Mary and we are so pleased!!! We did a whole house remodel!!! Mary and her assistant Carly were truly fantastic!!! And she also put us in touch with a great General Contractor. Her ideas, design suggestions, guidance and the final outcome were better than we could have ever imagined!!!!! I told her my vision of our house being Greek Mediterranean…….colors of blues, whites and grays, open concept, sleek design and she truly nailed it!!!! She took us to many great stores and vendors (ie….all appliances, lighting, all fixtures for the kitchen and bathrooms, cabinets, flooring, carpets, tile, countertops, furniture, fireplace, window coverings, ceiling fans, staircase railings etc…) this would have been a very overwhelming experience…….but with Mary’s expertise it was so enjoyable and fun because she was able to narrow down the choices from literally hundreds to 2 or 3 great ones for us to decide from. She also helped us with all of our online purchases and was always able to provide us with 2 to 3 wonderful choices! She gave us the idea of a “flip out” window with a pass through in our kitchen to our beautiful back yard to go along with two sets of folding doors in the kitchen and the dining room. She gave me great advice and suggestions on how to set up our new home (ie…decorating, how to set everything up in the kitchen, master bath and any area I asked her). She designed a new fantastic functional laundry room with utility sink, new stacked washer and dryer and storage cabinet. She turned our old coat closet into a beautiful pantry! I enjoy making cocktails so she designed a beautiful bar with a wine fridge in our dinning room. Along with a new linear fireplace installed in the dining room with a fully tiled fireplace wall. She also helped us pick out some beautiful outdoor lighting. She made this huge project so easy and pleasant! If we had any questions, issues, concerns or opinions she was available any day and any time to discuss. Mary and Carly are so professional, down to earth, caring and fun!! My husband says that paying for her design expertise and her general remodeling guidance was the best money that we’ve ever spent”! And further that she has an impeccable eye for every aspect of the remodeling process! She turned our home into a beautiful model home! We are very happy and excited with the results and can’t wait to share it all with our family and friends! Mary and Carly, thank you so much!!!! The Massey Design team went above and beyond to meet our needs to renovate our Office/Warehouse space. Her team was efficient and communicated on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that the project was met for our timeline. I really appreciate her feedback and options and overall a collaborative project that she brought to life!

Mary and her team were recommended to us by friends and I’m glad we hired them! Their design planning and suggestions were invaluable. They suggested things I would not have ever thought of! One hears of horror stories when goes to have their kitchens remodeled. NOT us. Massey Design was a delight with witch to work. Their relationship with top quality general contractors, cabinet manufactures appliance dealers and anything kitchens. Massey Deigns’ principal, Mary Massey, was with us every step of the way. Her attention to detail was outstanding. She works by the adage “ Measure twice cut once.“. Any glitch that occurred in our project was due to “supply chain problems” outside Massey Design control. They did everting they could do to erase their customer’s angst. Would we recommend Massey Design, you bet.. Great ideas, quality connections, and of course listens and advises their customer.

It was wonderful working with Mary and her team. She has great taste, led us away from any bad decisions and most importantly (for us) kept the project moving. She is generous with her time and patiently worked through some of our unique design challenges. Our remodel is beautiful but also functional. We're thrilled with the outcome and absolutely hope/plan to work with her again.

My experience with the Massey Deign Group was excellent. I explained my vision for my kitchen renovation to Mary who then took that vision and developed it into a beautiful, functional space that my family and I love. Her attention to detail is amazing and has been much appreciated as I have settled into actually using all the features of my new kitchen. She has impeccable taste and capably guided me through the many decisions that have to be made in such a project, from the selection of appliances all the way down to the selection of switch plates. Additionally, and importantly, she dealt with all the vendors, and my contractor to insure that all the pieces came together in a cohesive and timely manner. My husband and I hired Mary to help us with our kitchen remodel. We're so glad we did. She made our experience so much less stressful. She gave us ideas and suggestions that we would never have come up with on our own. She would come over to our house often to check on progress and make sure everything was going seamlessly. She even stopped by the house, later in the evening, to drop off items that the contractor would need early in the morning just to make things easier for them. I have already given her contact information out to my family members who saw her finished product in our kitchen and now want her help.

I love my newly designed outdoor courtyard. It is an inviting and comfortable space. Mary with Massey Design Group was very helpful. From designing, coordinating contractors, shopping and finally curating, the space transformed to an outdoor entertaining dream!! The entire process was fun and I really enjoyed working with Massey Design Group.

What a wonderful experience with Massey Design Group! Clear communication, always available, listened well to our ideas. After two years after installation, we are still in love with all the choices and Mary's recommendations. A joy and pleasure to work with! Will work with her again, when we are ready for the bathrooms!

We have worked extensively over the years with Mary on six different areas of our home. She has patiently helped us turn our track home into our dream home with a custom look and feel. My husband and I are both engineers with not a designer bone between us. We were both reluctant to tackle any remodel. She was so patient and helpful throughout each project, we kept signing up for more. Her passion for her work is contagious and her product knowledge and eye for excellence are impressive. We wish we had another area we could remodel! We confidently recommend Massey Design for any size project. 1. Small bathroom: removed tub and replaced with shower, new floor, sink, toilet, fan, paint 2. Kitchen: turned dining room, living and family room and the kitchen into a great room. Removed walls, moved kitchen, all new appliances, flooring, lighting, custom cabinets, granite counters, all new furniture. 3. Master bath: (my favorite!) turned a typical track home master bath into a spa. Moved plumbing, moved walls, new everything. 4. Guest bath: turned a tub/shower combo into a large walk in shower with a bench, designed for safety and use by an elderly parent. Incorporated a hall closet for more space, new flooring, all new fixtures and cabinets. 5. Deck: expanded a second story deck and added steps, removed glass and used cable railing, added lights, new outdoor furniture and a built in BBQ with sink. 6. Wine room: designed a small wine room in the garage.

Mary is amazing! She did a great job of coordinating and giving professional advice during the remodel of our kitchen and master suite. She has an eye for detail and design and worked so well with the installers and other professionals on the job. Thank you Mary!
