In the over 27 years doing Interior Design consulting work and owning Linda Elston Design, Linda has completed numerous high-end private residences and commercial properties throughout Texas and the USA. Her portfolio is as diverse as her clientele and reflects her timeless good taste, meticulous eye for detail and unique ability to create appropriate, individual designs while maintaining her signature classic style. Whether contemporary or traditional style, high-end or otherwise, her projects are all executed to reflect the wide range of clientele and their varied tastes, lifestyles, budgets, and overall needs. Linda's creative inspirations are deeply rooted by her Italian heritage, innate sense of style, endless study, and extensive travels throughout Europe and Asia. Her designs are also heavily influenced by her years studying and working in the fashion industry. Her decorative consulting experience includes work performed in private residences, commercial offices, restaurants, bars, model homes, ranches, coastal homes, condominiums, high rises, lofts, yachts, specialty schools, and many more. Her skills are in interior and exterior interior design consulting, window covering and bedding design and fabrication, floral design, construction planning and services, upholstery work, custom furniture designs, custom upholstery, faux painting, real estate staging, event decorating, scaled renderings, space planning, colorist, floor coverings, organizer, art commissions, floor covering design, and furniture and accessories sourcing. Currently she still maintains several private fashion clients and styles their wardrobes seasonally and offers personal shopping. She formerly held the position of Vice President of Interior Decorators of Texas. She is a master faux finisher and considered a paint and color expert. Linda is equally comfortable doing complete renovations as well as simple room redesigns. Her savvy business sense coupled with her unique collaborative design approach has gained her respect within the design and construction communities. Her skills in negotiation and strategic alliances allow her to maintain an operation based on client advocacy.
