What a year its been! This time last year, with plenty of TLC and vision, Lena helped me clean out my apartment in preparation of a transformation that has been simply life changing. Never in my wildest dreams would I imagine having a space that would make me so happy. It has brought a sense of calm in a life that is perpetually chaotic. I work ridiculous hours so I never had the time nor vision to make my apartment a home. Lena is so patient. She recruited an all-star team. The finished project was nothing short of spectacular! A Hollywood glam style that personifies all that I aspire to be. I always wanted to entertain but never felt I had a space adequate enough to host. I can’t express the feeling of gratitude I felt when I had my friends and family over for the big reveal. Lena strives to create a space that you never thought was possible. Its truly a collaboration of love and passion for what she does. My kitchen is sleek and streamlined. My bathroom surpassed all my expectations and structurally she was able to open the space to make it feel more spacious and loft-like—not what you expect in a upper east side apartment. Pocket doors?!! Brilliant! Thank you Lena for your vision and creativity. When you interview designers, it can be an intimidating process particularly when you are trying to stay within a budget. Lena understood my limitations, was able to fine tune my preferences so the decision to hire her was an easy one—it doesn’t have to be stressful. Lena will transform your space into a place that accentuates who you are. I finally have a grown-up apartment that brings me great joy to come home to.

Lena was a pleasure to work with on my outdoor deck project. I have a strong aesthetic of my own that I tend to default to, but I hired Lena for her worldly, colorful sense of style to balance my more modern and white/gray preferred color palate. I think we collaborated beautifully; she respected my opinions while infusing her own signature style to the space. She was truly adept at helping me envision my space with respect to making the most of a small, NYC outdoor space in a purposeful way. She did this by helping me plan out 3 distinct zones (cooking, dining and lounging) and plotting furniture and accessories accordingly. Lena is super responsive, understands spatial planning, is respectful of budget constraints and completed everything in a timely manner (if not faster than expected).

Founding Lena was the most amazing thing. I saw her work on Houzz and I fall in love with her unique style. I saw many designers but She was so authentic that I decided to contact her. She not only did an Impecable job, She even helped me install television, cable, portatile Ac since I wasn't in NY. She took care of every little thing and I appreciate it so much. My apartment now looks like a magazine!! Can't believe the amazing results. Thanks Lena and I really hope to work with you again soon!

While I have not worked with Lena, I have seen her work. Her bathroom renovation brought light, beauty and style into what was previously a drab, functional space. Her bedroom is a comfortable, inviting room with taste and personality. Common spaces are cozy, functional and stylish. Lena's warmth and manner will be a welcoming presence in any project you collaborate on.

Lena is an amazing designer - she has helped me with my NYC apartment and my Hamptons house and I would use her again! She has a the rare talent of being extremely creative and unique in her aesthetic but yet also very focused getting the job done on time, in (or under) budget and with great speed. She is a unique talent and I expect her to be very sought after.

I am a personal friend of Lena's but I have to share that when I first met her I knew she had a unique sense of style all around - with her attire and with her decor. She also has the gift of loyalty and communication and loves people. I would recommend her to anyone, (and have!). And will be hiring her when I build my new office next year.
