Jeanette Remaley Designs

Jeanette has been actively involved in the design field since attending the University of Alabama for two years and graduating from the International Institute of Design in Washington, DC in 1975. She has designed many homes in Palm Beach, FL, Houston, TX, Calgary, Canada, Washington, DC before returning to her hometown of Tuscaloosa. She founded North River Interiors in Tuscaloosa and was the designer there for 7 years. She presently owns Jeanette Remaley Interiors and contracts with several area builders as well as her private clients. She has experience in a wide variety of projects from log cabins to sorority homes to law offices. “My Idea of good design is creating functional, beautiful, well balanced rooms. Incorporating the homeowners pieces, adding new upholstery, exciting accessories, and beautiful fabrics makes it all come together. Listening to my client's wants and needs leads to careful planning to create the environment they want."
