I would like to provide my utmost recommendation for Jane Henderson Interior Design! Jane and her team have done a fantastic job in decorating our new house. The colors, patterns, and textures chosen are all very beautiful and functional. Jane was a pleasure to work with and she managed to accommodate our needs within a reasonable budget and timeframe. We hired Jane Henderson Interior Design for our new construction project. Jane specified all the finishes including plumbing, electrical, flooring and fixtures. Since we were re-locating to the Plymouth area from Toronto, she was an invaluable asset to us to complete our new home on-time and offered creative solutions to stay in budget. When it came to furnishings, I knew what I liked but certainly don’t have the talent to put it together to create a beautiful home interior. Jane carefully considered our likes/dislikes. She quickly understood and used her creative brilliance to deliver an extraordinary interior design. Comfortable, but functional, stylish and sensible for my busy family. Our home is exactly what we wanted but couldn’t dream up ourselves with a fabulous fireplace, stunning window treatments, lighting, area rugs and furniture. The icing on the cake is her keen sense of style with layering in accessories once all the furniture is in place. Jane was incredible in how she juggles client’s individual preference, adds her professional opinion, and makes fabulous selections to create perfectly balanced spaces. We LOVE coming home. We couldn’t be happier, and we just hired Jane and her team to bring her creative magic to our rustic and cozy New Hampshire lake home.

Jane is amazing. She is detail-oriented, very knowledgeable and super talented. I was a little skeptical about going with custom furniture because of the cost but Jane reminded me that it was an investment that would serve us well for years. She was right. Our new furniture looks like it was made for our space and it looks so high end. I'm really proud of the decisions we made!

Jane is an absolute rockstar. She pays close attention to the details that make up the final design of the project and always makes sure the end result is impeccable. I've partnered with here on a few projects recently and I have to say they're some of the best ones in my portfolio - and I have to give her the credit. Jane has helped us with projects large and small and never failed to deliver a design that was top-notch - both aesthetically and functionally. For our small built-in project, she saved us from design mediocrity by offering creative and beautiful suggestions that made our built-in a stunning addition to our great room. Most recently, she has redesigned our 25 year old master bath. Once again, she delivered a design that is somehow completely aligned with our aesthetic, yet full of clever, creative ideas we never could have imagined. Her design also gives us more storage and will be easier to keep clean. This is the mark of a great designer! Jane is the total package - creative, practical, thorough, and a joy to work with. I hired Jane to work on our house while under construction. She took the job knowing she would be relocating hours from us but didn't let us know. She separated from the firm I originally contracted with so the information on my project is not with that firm. Once she moved she was trying to work on projects by driving back and forth. Every room we contracted to do with her was left incomplete. She put linen blinds in my 7 years olds room which I told her was not a good idea. They broke all the time and looked wrinkled because they were linen. She also chose silk for my dining room and the drapes have never looked nice. I repeatedly asked for her to have someone get the wrinkles out. She ignored my requests. I paid her an additional amount to oversee our lighting. Our foyer light hangs way below the center window, my dining room and office light fixtures are off center for the "room drsign plan" she created. The biggest issue has been our master bedroom. We were specific about needing the automation to blackout. She ordered panels instead of drapes, the drop shades are see-through and she left our main curtains with an exposed, unfinished rod. I have had to call others to try to fix the situation. It is going to cost me thousands to fix mistakes I thought I hired her to avoid. She does not return emails or phone calls to work on solutions.

Working with Jane taught us the true value of using a designer for our renovation projects. Not only is she passionate and creative with her designs but facilitated the technical aspects of the project knowledgeably and timely. We are thankful to Jane for getting to know our tastes and using her intuitive skills in creating a bathroom well beyond our expectations. We are soon on to the next project with her.

I began building a semi-custom home in Ann Arbor in 2017 and early on had an issue with the exterior color scheme of the home recommended by my builder. My builder hurriedly asked me to consult a professional designer, and I came to the Houzz site and found Jane's page, and all the pictures of the homes she had done and feel in love! She quickly came out to the house, made an assessment, and gave me her advice - and we made a much better change. I was ever so grateful!! In addition, I realized that I was also extremely overwhelmed with the interior, in terms of making choices on lighting (in particular), wall color, mirrors, tile, countertops...yikes. So many choices! I decided to hire her, and Jane was able to narrow things down for me based on my likes, and suggested things I would NEVER have thought of (this is what a professional is for people!). And my home turned out a MILLION times better than I ever would have expected... WAY better than if I would have done it on my own. I get ENDLESS compliments, and always have to say "well.... that was JANE!" Highly, highly recommend!!!

Jane Henderson's ability to quickly transform an ordinary working office into an extraordinary "Morning Room" for our recent Christmas tour of the historic Earhart Manor was outstanding. Jane was given a very limited time allowance for installation, as this was a working office. Jane's ability to work quickly under pressure and maintain professionalism was remarkable. She transformed the room in only a few hours! Jane was extremely creative in developing a design scheme that beautifully depicted Mrs. Earhart's original use of the space with a modern fresh design approach, and was clearly a "crowd favorite" with our 5000 guests who toured. We are in the process of a custom design/build and Jane has been amazing to work with! I did not realize so many decisions had to be made so early in the process; Jane has kept us on track, organized and she is always several steps ahead. Building a house is stressful and somewhat overwhelming; I appreciate that Jane is covering the details for us. She is able to narrow down the seemingly infinite choices in colors/materials/fabrics and present us with options that work with our style and budget.
