I loved working with Jane on the renovation of my Tybee Island, GA Cottage, Cottage on the Green duplex. I was in California during most of the renovation and Jane not only acted as designer/ consultant but supervised every detail of the project, going by daily to be sure contractor understood exactly what we wanted. She made the project fun and worry free, and kept it on schedule, and many times saving me money by smart choices.
As a result of Jane's great work, my cottage has already been published in Coastal Living and Southern Style, as well as on several popular blogs.

Jane Coslick is the most creative interior, preservationist, remodeler, contractor I have ever worked with She is up to date on products, codes, design and colors. Jane is totally professional while on project, with humor and courage to complete the most complicated restoration. She is conscious of remodel costs and tries to mitigate mounting construction costs. Her range of designs and restorations covers inexpensive to very expensive projects, she actively engages her client to express their tastes and blends good design with client expectations. She is truly a design genius.

Jane Coslick turned our 1955 cinder block house into an inviting, island home. My husband and I were new not only to Tybee Island but to the whole renovation process. So Jane took us by our slightly-trembling hands and led us through choosing new, sand-friendly vinyl floors, all the while quizzing us about our lifestyle.
Do we like to read in bed?
Do we prefer chairs or sofas?
Do we like to cook or just love to eat?
She wanted the house to be all about us and said more than once, “If you love it we’ll make it work”.
Ever mindful of our budget, Jane supervised replacing the popcorn ceilings with lovely, wide boards, our dated, louvered windows with charming, energy efficient panes and the dingy kitchen cupboard doors with bright, white bead-board ones.
The home came furnished and quite a few pieces were quietly put curbside to be recycled. But many were repainted, reupholstered and repurposed to create a feeling of beachy “fun” that never turns into beachy “cute”. We wanted a comfortable, sophisticated feeling with surprises in every room, and Jane delivered. Just a few examples: a headboard made of wooden shutters in the master suite, framed antique album covers in the hallway, a shell-draped chandelier in the dining room and paper-mache zebra heads in the second bedroom.
We were honored that Jane included BLUES AWAY on her Christmas Cottage Tour. She met deadlines and exceeded expectations. Then worked tirelessly to raise over $8,000for the Savannah Humane Society.
Jane’s sense of style knows no bounds. And neither does her generosity.

This was my second remodeling project with Jane Coslick. She knew just who to call to rewire, redo plumbing, paint, and all the not-so-fun aspects of a total makeover. Then, of course, she is such fun to work with on the decorating! I love how our house turned out and so does everyone who has rented it! I highly recommend Jane!
