Born into an Italian family of designers and artisans, design is second nature. Growing up with a mother who is a famous children's clothing designer and a father who was a builder, my entire life revolved around designing beautiful things. This led me to receive a degree in Architecture.
My clients have found that the combination of my design skills and degree in Architecture, provide me the unique ability to see the full potential of their space. Provide overall Interior Design and Decor for the whole house or just a couple rooms. Room design, paint color consult, furnishings, accessories, window treatments, flooring, lighting, etc. Kitchen and bathroom design, basement design and re-design and overall help with selecting any and all finishes.

We found Marissa based on a community Facebook recommendation. We have never used a designer before, but found her invaluable on a full house renovation. We first realized her value to us when she took us to the large tile showroom and helped us quickly narrow down to the exact perfect one! There were so many small decisions that we didn’t even know we needed to make, and Marissa made it easy. She listened to our preferences and helped us track down mirrors and lights that I had taken pictures of off TV or Pinterest. Marissa always sent us multiple choices of items and took care of ordering everything for us. Just when I thought we could surely choose our own carpet for our bedrooms, she had a better color idea! She is very professional, knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with. We highly recommend her services!

We did a full kitchen remodel and main floor redesign with Marisa as our designer. From the moment she stepped into our house, we knew we were in the hands of an extremely talented professional. Marisa had a vision for our design that accurately matched our style and taste. She has an amazing eye that was reflected in her recommendations and decor options. Marisa worked very closely with us every step of the way and was always very responsive with her communication. The entire project from start to finish was seamless. Our remodel exceeded all of our expectations! We would highly recommend Marisa for all interior design needs. We will not hesitate to work with her on future projects.

We hired Marisa to help us design a just few rooms in our home and quickly realized we needed her talents in more rooms! She helped us from concept to completion, and really made my not-very-developed vision a reality. She gave her all to each room individually and helped us find exactly what we needed and wanted. I won’t hesitate to hire Marisa again!!!

I recently did a basement remodel and hired Marisa through my contractor. I had a vision of how I wanted the basement to turn out and Marisa got it. All the recommendations she made from tile, to color scheme, to accessories were just perfect. I did try to influence her with some of my ideas and she steered me in the right direction. Marisa is extremely professional in her interactions. She is also very responsive to emails and text, which I totally love and appreciate. She also makes the process very seamless when it comes to ordering materials and scheduling deliveries etc. My basement finaly got done and I love it! Marisa will be working on my next project which is a remodel of my kitchen and I am looking forward to it. Thank you for all your efforts Marisa!

We recently designed and built our dream home then next needed to hire an interior designer. We found Marisa Moore on Houzz. Her reviews were stellar and we loved her style and designs she helped create for her clients. This was our first time working with a designer and other than beautiful and modern we weren't exactly sure of the direction.
Marisa helped narrow down our style, gave us excellent ideas for each room, provided examples and sources for the furniture, decor and the art we needed. She blended comfort and style to create and showcase not only our new home architecture but the beautiful landscape that surrounded us. She made the design unique and anything but cookie cutter.
Marisa worked around our crazy schedules and timed delivery so that everything was ready for move in. She was with us the entire process and ensured every install went smoothly.
Marisa clearly has a passion for design. Her attention to detail and eye for style helped us create the home we've always dreamed of. She exceeded our expectations, made the experience enjoyable and we will continue to work with her on any future changes or projects.

My husband and I moved from a cramped 3 room condo into a nearly 3000 sq foot home with a unique room configuration and dated design choices. We had never worked with an interior designer before but knew we wanted some guidance and help to make decisions about furniture, paint, fixtures, etc. that would personalize the home for our family and create stylish but functional spaces. Marisa was so efficient and easy to work that it made the whole process fun and saved us a lot of money. She also has great connections with painters/woodworkers etc. who are both skilled and trustworthy. I don't plan on buying a new home anytime soon, but if I ever need design assistance I would opt to work with Marisa again in a heartbeat.

Marisa worked with us on our 3 full bathrooms remodel project. We have our first meeting on our home and show her our existing bathrooms and discuss general idea. She asked the necessary question to understand our desire. She brought several samples and items together to make our choice easier. She is very professional and lesson our desire. She order all the materials need for the project which make our life easier. We are very happy going with her. I did not want to spent a lot of money and not like the final product. I recommend her to tackle your next project. Any money you spent on her nothing you will be happy on the final product.

I would strongly recommend Marisa Moore for home design jobs big and small. We recently renovated our master bath and kitchen and Marisa was helpful in every area. She was able to help guide decision making, keep us within our family budget and help build a home that we would love. I found her very knowledgeable about design and current trends, and she worked well with area businesses to help determine where to best purchase products for our renovation. My husband I contacted Marisa for the first time almost a year ago. From our first contact until now Marisa has been nothing but extremely prompt, professional, and wonderful to work with. We initially reached out to her to help us furnish and decorate our kitchen, dining room, and living room in our new house. This was our first time working with an interior designer (we spoke with and interviewed many before selecting Marisa). Marisa made the whole process so easy. She was able to quickly narrow down beautiful options for us to choose from within our budget and answered any questions we had along the way.
We were so pleased with how our first project with Marisa went that we've now reached out to her again to help us with additional rooms in our house. In less than a week we've made some great selections (must faster and better than we could have pulled together on our own). We are are so excited to see the final products - especially because we've already seen how Marisa's projects turn out.

We are working with Interior Style on a kitchen and basement remodel. So far, Marisa has exceeded our expectations. Husband and I recently moved to the Northern Virginia area. We had moved from a small beach cottage on the ocean in New England and none of our furniture worked in the much larger, Traditional-style new home that we purchased. While wanting to stay true to the overall architecture/design theme (Traditional) of our new home, we also wanted a fresher, brighter, clean-line, no clutter, casual-yet-stylish look. Yet we had absolutely no idea how to achieve that. After much searching and review checking we met Marisa. From the very first meeting and throughout the collaboration Marisa has done incredible work for us. She is a class act, her contractors are equally excellent, and we are well into creating precisely the beautiful home that we always wanted. There is no question that we could not have achieved this without Marisa's expertise. We give her our highest recommendation....
