Viviangdesign.com is a full service interior design and real estate firm specializing in residential lighting, interior design and kitchen/bath design. If you are looking for assistance during construction, we also offer project management services. Hi I am Vivian and I am a NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer. Vivian knows how to plan a space and how to present that plan visually so that it can be communicated to clients. She is experienced with the materials and products that can be used to create and furnish a space and understands how texture, color, lighting and other factors combine and interact to complete a space. In addition, licensed interior designers must understand the structural requirements of their plans, health and safety issues, building codes, and many other technical aspects pertaining to remodeling and new construction. Vivian has been a business professional for over 19 years and have the experience needed to ensure the completion of a successful project.

Vivian was great and taking my somewhat vague ideas about changing my little, slanted ceiling home office cave into a lighter more organized and brighter space. My office now has beautiful white built in bookshelves and designated space for the printer and all. She chose the perfect color for the walls and made suggestions about rearranging the furniture that I would not have occurred to me. Now I love my little office and enjoy spending time in it. She listened to my ideas, offered some additional suggestions and we were set with a plan. Now we are working on another room to create a more functional built in closet and lighting. Definitely recommend Interior Lighting and Design.

Vivian was by far the most important part of our kitchen remodel. We cannot recommend her more highly. Her professionalism, design insights, lighting suggestions and project management moved us from two people with rough ideas into a dynamic, completed project. She made excellent design suggestions we would never have thought of, and helped to remake a dark kitchen with no natural light into a beautiful, open space. Vivian was easily available, communicated well, and always dependable. Plus she is a pleasure to work with and know! Her professional associates, contractors, painters, electricians, painters, were all excellent. If you are considering a remodel or need to improve lighting in your home, don't hesitate. Hiring Vivian will be the best thing you ever did.

Vivian was terrific at “holding our hand” and guiding us through our main project which was a complete kitchen remodel, but soon included an update of the living and dining room area as well. She made design suggestions we hadn’t even thought of and helped us select materials. Now we have a new gas fire place, beautiful hardwood floors and new furniture complementing the remodeled kitchen. Vivian’s lighting design gives the kitchen a bright and modern appearance with recessed ceiling lights and under cabinet lighting. The living room lighting was enhanced by new picture lights. She used the latest technologies with dimmer controlled LED lights. She also worked closely with our kitchen designer Sheryl Wimsatt from Santa Cruz Kitchen and Bath to give our kitchen a modern, clean appearance. What a transformation, from the 70’s and into the 21st century, very modern and cool! We love it! We enjoyed working with Vivian and can highly recommend her.

Whenever I need to include a lighting expert on any of my kitchen designs, Vivian is the person I consult with and refer to my clients. She has knowledge of all the new lighting techniques and products and offers solutions to difficult spaces, using a budget conscious approach. Our collaboration over the last seven years has resulted in beautiful spaces and very happy clients. She is a professional and an outstanding interior designer with a great team player attitude!

Vivian was a big part of the design for a new Modern House design on a project in Santa Cruz. After reviewing her work and discovering her accomplishments on previous projects she drew a plan for special lighting using all new LED lighting. Vivian went the extra mile to have companies send samples that we could review on the job site. What a learning curve as we discovered good and bad products for her designs that were specific to our project. Led lighting decisions of Kelvin color tone and styles Vivian will help you through. Her knowledge was very important with all the new technology offering so many options. She has a women touch as well as practical design guidance. The lighting made the house.

Vivian is a pleasure to work with. She is very responsive to any questions asked. The best part is that she is terrific at working with items you already have to make a more cohesive house and keep costs down. The lighting in our house is excellent now with her help. I also used her services for two bathroom remodels that are now functional and nice to look at.
