When it comes to design of any kind, Erica Edwards is top-notch in her field. Erica was the interior designer for our new custom home in the Colorado Rockies. From the basic design of the home itself to all of the many interior design elements that were chosen, she quickly became an indispensable part of every aspect of the project. My husband and I would often have difficulty making choices that we each liked but Erica never lost patience with us and she most certainly could have! Rather, she was always able to source beautiful products that appealed to us both. Now that the home is complete I see the brilliance of Erica’s involvement in every corner. Our collaboration continued when Erica designed my music studio in Connecticut and, not surprisingly, it became the most stunning room in the home. Shortly thereafter she outdid herself again when she suggested that she could design my website, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Erica decorated our house for Christmas. She took our antique farmhouse and transformed it for the holiday season in a way that was true to both the house and our personal style. She has an incredible eye and is such a pleasure to work with. She completed the work in a timely manner and was always professional. We look forward to working with her on future projects.

Such a happy experience redesigning my kitchen after 25 years. Erica is so resourceful and enthusiastic. Mine is the is the Baker residence house. We kept the spirit of the farm house but opened up the vistas and put a floating blue resin table top on a modern farmhouse table that provides an element of "aha" when you first enter the kitchen area. Erica also worked well collaboratively with my builder and craftsmen, making the entire experience pleasurable and gratifying. We built out onto extant porches, changing and expanding the main house entrance with new roof lines and lighting that makes the approach to the house all the more striking, as well as welcoming. Art at entry was tastefully hung and lit for best effect to contribute to to the welcoming "aha" experience. Erica also welcomes the creativity of her clients and collaborates with clients to get "just what they want".

We loved working with Erica whose design expertise completely transformed our living space. She was able to take our small, poorly designed living room and create an open, family friendly space ~ with comfortable seating for 6! She really listened to what was important to us, giving ideas we never considered before, like a custom sectional sofa. We decided to go with all of her suggestions, including ordering the sofa, allowing our personalized space to become a reality. We first met Erica in her shop on Main Street in Chester, CT - a wonderful shop with many unique, high quality handcrafted furnishings and home accessories – and quickly got to know her. We enjoyed her creative, energetic and open style and knew immediately she was the right person to work with. We couldn’t be happier having Erica’s help, whether with design work, or shopping in her unique studio in Chester.
