What if a few new pieces, a fresh coat of paint, and the things you already have and love just need to be put together in a different way to create a room you’ll never want to leave? At Found Design that's what we do. We take your existing treasures, add some inexpensive touches, a new perspective, maybe a new coat of paint, and create magic! We specialize in rooms that are casual, comfortable, family-friendly spaces that are both livable and beautiful. Here's how it works...Found Design’s free 1 hour consultation allows us to meet you, see your space, and learn what a “dream room” would look like for you. We’ll want to get to know your style. What design magazines do you pick up and can't put down? What gives you "house envy"? From there we work our magic and create concept boards to capture the look and feel of your new space. Once we discover the design that’s perfect for you, the transformation really begins! We will be there every step of the way to ensure your new space is finished to perfection, on time, and within your budget. We know your house is your sanctuary. We want to make sure our designers create a space you will love day after day.

Most amazing stager. Her professionalism and understanding was off the charts. She was very empathetic to the fact we needed to live in our house while it was being staged and did everything possible to make it easy. Her price was also amazing - we easily 10x’d our investment. And when My wife asked where she got two of the pillows she couldn’t remember and insisted we keep them. Addl, she’s super nice and a delight to hang with!

Shayne has an incredible eye for design that continues to impress me, is lightyears ahead of the competition, and a true talent. I sometimes have trouble understanding how all of the individual choices will go together but the final product always comes together like something out of a magazine. We have worked together on multiple projects and not only does her design skills continue to amaze me but she is very good at collaborating on my greater vision of a project and making that vision reality through incorporating all the smaller design elements that I would have never thought of. She adheres to budget very well, has always come in under our design budgets without skimping on quality. One thing I love is her knowledge on where to save money without losing quality and on the other side of the coin, she helps you understand areas where quality is crucial and worth spending, balancing the budget. This knowledge itself can save you so much money by making the correct decisions the first time! Highly recommend her not only for her great product but also being a pleasure to work with. Thanks Shayne!

Shayne Kirk was instrumental in our extensive renovation project of a historic Eichler home that was in total disrepair when we purchased it. She led our spacial planning, she coordinated all aspects of architectural design, she managed the construction and sub-contractor relationships along with our personal expectations. Shayne incorporated her unique sense of style to create an amazing home. Shayne was collaborative and extremely professional - we relied on her expertise and she exceeded our expectations!

We did a major, top to bottom remodel of our home and hired Shayne as our designer. Shayne was incredible to work with -- she provided thoughtful suggestions based on our design aesthetic, put us in touch with great vendors, and was responsive and available when we needed her. Her experience clearly comes through in her work and I would not hesitate to hire her again.

Shayne was such a pleasure to work with during our home renovation! Shayne is a great communicator and visionary who made our dreams for our home come to fruition. Our project took much longer than expected due to unforeseen circumstances with the city, but Shayne stood by us through all of the obstacles. Shayne helped us stay within budget and gave us realistic expectations based on our budget. In the middle of our renovation, we unfortunately were transferred to another state for work. Shayne stepped up to the plate and became a true project manager for the rest of the remodel. I had complete faith in her to finish the project without me. Thanks to Shayne's design eye and hard work, we had ample interest in our home which sold in 2 weeks! We could not have done this without her. A true Joanna Gaines of the West Coast! :)

Shayne is a rare find in the design world...she has incredible talent, a completely unpretentious demeanor, a practical understanding of the complexities involved in the construction process, and is a joy to work with. As a builder of many of her projects, I can say she is the best designer I have ever worked with. Get her on board and turn her loose and you will be amazed at the results.

I met Shayne through an investor remodel that had to be done in a short time frame. With the help of Shayne and her ideas. Sometimes I might not have understand this finish look of her ideas throughout the process, but I fell in love with the end result. I will be telling my customers to use her on future projects.

Shayne Kirk has designed two business spaces for me and helped with my home design as well. She is super quick in her ability to nail down what vibe will be best in a space. And decisions on paint, fabric, layout, moulding, wallpaper, etc are effortless. Then the execution from demo to finish work were handled with grace and confidence. Her contractor and team of subs were talented and professional. I know it is not an easy field, given the constraints of time and budget, but she has made all 3 projects a pleasure to tackle. Her professionalism coupled with "outside the box" creativity will keep me coming back again and again. I LOVE working with her!

Hired Shayne for an interior remodel along with Nolan Construction and had a terrible experience. Project was contracted to be completed by March 31st and final work was not performed until end of July. My wife asked several times in March and April about the delays - most requests were ignored. The two times the contractor responded, they said they would perform work the next day which were lies because their crew never showed up nor performed the work. This poor work service is more reflective of the contractor but Found Design is somehow affiliated as you will see in the information below. I requested contractor to discuss reason for work delays and to reduce final bill. These requests were ignored by contractor and the only correspondence received were invoices and threats to pursue through collection agencies. Even though Shayne was already paid for the design work and my wife had requested that all communication be directed to me, Shayne continued to contact my wife about the contractor's invoice. On 2 phone calls, she harassed my wife and threatened with legal action even though I was disputing the contractor's invoice. I can't comment about her work product as it looks like every other home design in the area. But her demeanor and personality are terrible and she has absolutely no sense of how to provide service to clients.

Darrel, I thank you so much for your feedback as all opinions are welcome. As most of the the above review is not of my work I can only comment on portions that are within my scope.
Unfortunately in design, in construction, and quite frankly in life, not everything goes according to plan. Manufacturer delays are very much a part of this business, though we all do our best to avoid them. I'm so happy that my crew was able to resolve these issues for you, even covering the cost of these late items to satisfy you, the client. Again, unfortunately, not all clients can or ever will be satisfied and I'm sorry you were not.
Found design and all contractors and subs work very hard and are passionate about our craft. However, we are all for-profit businesses and when the work is complete and the final bill is due, the expectation is that payment be made. If it is not, we are forced to peruse legal action. I am thrilled that we were able to resolve the issue before it made it that far. Found Design and Nolan Construction were very professional and were able to complete a beautiful product, under budget, and work with you on flexible payment options. Again, another success story for everyone. I am happy that your family is so pleased with the beautiful project and was flattered with your wife's kind feedback.
As to my personality, I never spoke with you but worked solely with your wife so I must question the validity of that statement. However, everyone is entitled to his opinion and I welcome yours. Thank you for allowing me to work on your beautiful home.

Comentado: Where did the brown pillow shams come from and the paper flowers?the shams were custom made from fabric that was purchased at an antique fair. The paper flowers were hand made, they are super easy and a kit can be found at Michaels.

Comentado: Where can I find the white cabinets/shelves?These were built by my contractor, and were hand made for the space. I recommend having built ins like this made specifically for the space.
