I worked with Nicola to transform our lounge which was cluttered and unsophisticated. I am absolutely delighted with the result and thanks to Nicola enjoyed every step of the process and learned a lot from her too! I would not hesitate to work with her again and can recommend her without reservation to anyone considering engaging a designer on their project.

Nicola designed my master bedroom remodel - we added a walk in closet and a bathroom to the master as well as redesigned the layout of the bedroom. Firstly, Nicola's style is gorgeous - she has incredible taste and designed something that was fun and timeless. She took budget into account and was very conscious of ways we could save and where we should not skimp. I was very concerned about getting enough storage space and so she did her best to offer lots of possible options to maximize space. The process was clear and she was available to us anytime we had a question or when our builder needed clarification, etc. Nicola is very passionate and you can tell she loves what she does. She makes the process fun and ensured that we were happy during the entire process. I really felt that she was as invested in making the space beautiful as I was! The only problem I have is now I want her to redesign my entire house! I would highly recommend Finch Interior Design to anyone wanting a beautiful design with a very talented designer.

Nicola designed a bathroom for me in 2023. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful throughout the project. She was always available and ready to help with the suppliers, builders, and design changes. She captured my vision of a "Victorian meets Amazon" design and turned it into reality. I could not recommend her more!

Nicola was amazing! So much fun to work with and she absolutely nailed it in terms of design. My other half and I have quite different taste in terms of style, but Nicola did a wonderful job of finding things that we both liked and really paid attention to our feedback. She kept things simple and gave us three choices for each item which we really appreciated as we had a new baby, two house sales, two moves and a big project to deal with. She worked tirelessly with the cabinet maker and others to create bespoke pieces and we love that so many elements of our house are unique to us. We loved the fact that she pushed our boundaries in terms of colour and encouraged us to invest in a few luxury items. The results were incredible and we cannot recommend Nicola enough.

Nicola took on a major challenge designing our large living room. Her brief was cool, comfortable, sultry hotel vibe and she more than delivered. We would have never achieved what Nicola did on our own. She listened and really did spend an enormous amount of time getting it right for us. Nicola will achieve for you what you want, she's not a designer that will try and sway you into anything you don't feel comfortable with. Although I would say, just let her do her thing because she is very, very good at what she does. I would highly recommend Nicola to anyone that wants to add value to their house. Inviting an interior designer to help you won't mean it will cost you more, in fact, we found the opposite because you won't make any mistakes. We also used the decorator and cabinet maker who Nicola suggested, who again, were extremely good. We will be embarking on our next project as soon as we can and will not be doing anything until we've got Nicola on board again.

Nicola supported us on the renovation of our entire ground floor at our house in Dulwich, including the kitchen, hallway, playroom/utility room, two sitting rooms and downstairs bathroom, as well as the master bedroom upstairs. This was quite a daunting project for my husband and I, not least because we have no experience in interiors but because we also have very different tastes and very strong opinions! Nicola did a fantastic job guiding us through the whole process from end to end, taking into account and effectively managing our very differing views and lack of experience to create a truly stunning finished project which we both absolutely love. She made the whole process really enjoyable for us and truly became a friend along the way. We are so pleased with the results we have now engaged her to work with us again on a further set of rooms upstairs - bring it it on!

I worked with Nicola on my project in South West London, a full kitchen and bathroom renovation and conversion of an under stairs cupboard into a WC. Quite by chance, I came across a picture of Nicola’s work on Houzz when I was browsing for ideas. At that stage, I had no idea what I wanted to do or how I was going to do it and I didn’t know what working with an interior designer might entail. Nicola and I had an initial kick-off session and instantly I was WOWed by her infectious energy and passion. Nicola is so good at her job because she instinctively “gets” people and that in turn means she is able to translate their dreams into reality, even if (like me) they may not be able to articulate those dreams themselves! Right through the early design and brainstorm stages, it was engaging and great fun. Nicola challenged me on preconceptions, and it was a super collaborative process, where far flung ideas started to take shape. Nicola has incredible taste and vision but she is also technical and practical, which was invaluable when the subject matter was an imperfect Victorian flat. At every stage, careful consideration was given to space, light and use. Nicola was able to push me just the right amount when it was needed, and that little bit extra is what has made all the difference to my project. I loved working with Nicola from start to finish, she is hard-working, committed, knowledgeable and fabulous. I am so thrilled with the end result of my project and couldn’t imagine having done it without her! Could not recommend more highly.

Finch Interior Design helped us with various rooms in our house with briefs ranging from full-scale redesign to light touch refresh. What attracted us to using Nicola was her style which was very much aligned to what we wanted. Her creative vision and ability to weave together a gorgeous and cohesive scheme are top notch. She listened to what we wanted and was adaptive to feedback but also suggested things to push our boundaries and make us think differently. Nicola designed the most amazing collection of furniture, fabrics and art for my flat, I’m hugely grateful! Nicola took the time to really understand my taste & style - before presenting ideas. The list of suggested furniture options was refreshing and different, I thoroughly recommend!

Finch properties were brought in on the interior fit out and dressing of a development we did in Putney, converting a semi detached house into four flats. The flats were finished to such a fantastic standard and the finish was just amazing. Kitchens and bathrooms were well thought out offering style whilst still being schemes that would appeal to a wide audience (essential when looking to sell properties). The properties were then furnished and dressed with completely styling the properties ready for sale and each with their own unique look. The attention to detail and the endless desire to make everything perfect was worth every penny spent. In particular true when the valuations came through. I could not have done the project without the involvement of Finch Properties who held my hand and guided me on design and style choices. Finch properties were a key element in the success of this project and I will certainly be working with them again.

I got in touch with Nicola after deciding to redecorate our rather uninspiring new build bedroom. I had no idea what to choose in terms of paint / fabric / prints / accessories etc but she quickly helped me decide what sort of look we wanted to go for - a South Carolina beach house (in Oxfordshire UK!) and came up with a bold and cosy theme with suggestions for everything we could want. She had loads of ideas about where to source everything and the paint colour of a dark smokey blue was especially inspired and not something we would ever have chosen by ourselves. I don't think a day goes by that I don't look at the room and thank our lucky stars we got in touch with her to help us. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the finished look. She totally worked within our budget BUT stretched our imagination to something far more creative and exciting than we could have dreamed. Thank you Nicola!

We hired Nicola to refurb out family bathroom. She was brilliant every step of the way. We were really impressed with how she took our brief and created a space that's so us and exactly what we wanted. It is SO much better than we could have done and everyone who comes round always asks mentions it! It was clear that she's an experienced project manager and this really helped with some technical issues, which she managed to solve with the builders. She's great fun to work with and very efficient. We would definitely recommend her!
