Ordered a teak daybed. Got a message saying that they did not have the advertised item and had sent pictures of alternative items. This not true at all, they never sent pictures of alternative items. I think they are either bait and switching or do not have good inventory management. I canceled my order and blocked this vendor from charging my account.

Hi K D - sorry you feel that way ! Our showroom is open every day and we sell out of items quite quickly. When you placed your order , we checked stock and discovered that daybed had already been sold. I sent you an email through houzz with attached photos but did not get a reply - I followed up a couple days later asking if you got my message.
Never was it our intent to "Bait and Switch" you for anything - because we did not have the product I was simply trying to see if I could put in the work and find you another. I never charged your card , never had any motives to be dishonest. We are a family business and take pride in customers being satisfied - this is how we've grown in the last 15 yrs.
Your review paints us to be a bad company who does not care or is trying to take advantage of customers - that is not the case.

Fast response, but dishonest. Pricing higher in store than on internet & the team there is almost unwilling to match internet price. Very strange. Wouldn't recommend. Definitely wouldn't recommend shopping in their store.

I purchased several items from Mix Furniture for my guest room. I absolutely love my Suzani pillows, Moroccan table and other accessories that I purchased. My guests always comment on how they love the eclectic mix. Alyssa was great to work with.

I ordered an item through Houzz sold by Design Mix Furniture. An error was made in the listing price and I received a blunt email telling me there was a listing error and they automatically cancelled my order. That's it. They never inquired as to whether I was interested in paying the "correct" price. Just rip the item from me and too bad for me. Now another item I was considering from a competitor is no longer available. I wasted my time with Design Mix Furniture and am left empty handed. This seems to be a very unprofessional manor of conducting business and scores no points as far as customer service goes. Use caution when dealing with this company so they don't swindle you out of a purchase as well.

Thank you for catching the " typo " on the product listing ! Unfortunately, as you can understand, we can not sell a 104" x 43 " $785 piece of vintage fabric for $4.

We would love to offer you a discount or help you find another similar piece if your still interested !
