After a successful career as one of Southern California’s top Home Stagers, I decided to focus my design passions entirely on Interior Design. At Deborah Fabricant Design, we value trust and a close working relationship with our clientele. Our goal is to design and develop ageless and casually elegant spaces, while always respecting our clients’ needs and tastes. With a background in color, textures, lighting, textiles and fine art, our interiors are layered with a patina of warmth and interest, ranging from Contemporary to Transitional, from Vintage to Mid Century Modern — reflecting the varied backgrounds and styles of our discerning clients. By incorporating found objects, fine antiques and reclaimed vintage pieces with clean lines, beautiful colorization and interesting art/objects, our interiors bring a sense of warmth and a decidedly “cool” vibe. Only when our clients are happy are we completely satisfied with our work. It is their home and it should not only reflect out perceptions of good design and style but, also, what they love and feel proud and comfortable to live with and share with family and friends.

Since 2009 Deborah has worked for me on four separate projects in my home and each one has been amazing. The first two involved staging or refreshing; living room and kitchen, which included painting, new fixtures, re-upholstery of key pieces, and accessorizing. The last two were major remodels; two bathrooms and a remodel of our master bedroom and den. She is the perfect blend of creative designer and professional. She has a great eye for design, color selection, is able to execute the plan, and she LISTENS to her clients. That last bit is important, because my husband and I have very different ideas that Deborah was able to bring together in the final design.

I had the pleasure of working with Deborah on my master bedroom project. I found her through a friend whose bedroom she had done which was beautiful. She designed my upholstered bed, picked our fabrics that were affordable and beautiful, bedding that is amazing, paint colors, designed my chaise and bench. She was also able to incorporate some of my existing furniture which I appreciated. Every accessory she picked was perfect. I had trepidation about leaving the stone on my fireplace because of the color and she found a picture to place over the fireplace that brought it all together. The subcontractors she used were excellent. She was also instrumental in designing my master bathroom, picking stones, tile, lighting and accessories. Deborah is extremely easy to work with, a true professional who is on top of her game at all times and has a great flair. Anyone who has the pleasure of working with her will be lucky as well as very happy.

Deb was fantastic. After interviewing a few contractors we were dissatisfied with their bids and working style, and the uncertainty of the total cost of renovations to our home. Deb helped us move forward with confidence that we could complete the work within budget and desire time frames. She was a great combination of being an "original idea" person and being collaborative with our tastes. Her style and vision working with our current furniture in regards to what we kept and what took out gave us a broader vision of our home. Included in our renovation were our master bath and kitchen. They both turned out better than we could have envisioned. Deb's subs and contractors were all top notch, polite, clean, and responsible. Their follow-through was wonderful with great attention to detail. Deb was a great shepherd all along the project history. She has great sense of style with an amazing scope of color, scale, and texture. She made a challenging project go very smoothly with smashing results. We could not have done it without her. We were recently introduced to Deborah and after seeing the interior of her home it was clear that her style and taste mirrored what we were looking for in regarding to finding some terrific accent pieces for our home. Giving Deborah carte blanche to do her thing proved to be rewarding as the end result was everything we were hoping for and more. Deborah did her work quickly, and the installation came off without a hitch. We love our new pieces and guests always give their thumbs up acceptance too. Looking forward to using Deborah again.
