With a love for curating products and an unorthodox way of display, Debbie lead Curious Sofa to became one of the nation's top independent boutiques and a destination shop for customers from across the country. . For ten successful years Curious Sofa and Debbie's home were featured in many national, trade and local publications (see the press page) which led to a strong following on the shop's website, blog and Facebook. . In January of 2011, Dusenberry closed her store to focus on internet sales only. Today her time is spent managing the online store, design consulting, styling, graphic design and hunting for original goods at various antique shows across the country. Curious Sofa also sells larger items at a local antique mall that keep Kansas City customers happy. .
