The full-service design firm offers an experienced staff of designers capable of taking a project from blue print to completion. Located on trendy 21st Avenue South in Nashville TN, Davishire is a world-renowned source for sophisticated home furnishings. Since 1985, our showroom has been filled with continental antiques, beautiful artwork, fine furniture and one-of-a-kind accessories. Our designers work with clients, architects and builders to refine any space, from a single corner of a room to an entire residence. Davishire’s portfolio consists of jobs everywhere from Nashville to New York and even Ireland. From 2005 - 2011, Davishire worked with the state's Executive Residence in Nashville. Shirley Horowitz was also featured on more than a dozen episodes of the HGTV show "Decorating With Style." We have beautiful, unique pieces from around the world, and also have the resources to special order any piece to suit your needs. My wife and I have five, beautiful, antique paintings that we have collected over the years that come from Davishire. Shirley collects from all over the world and is knowledgable about each painting and artist. She always has a large collection beautifully displayed in her showroom.

We have worked with Shirley Horowitz throughout the years decorating our home. She is incredibly knowledgeable, talented and has exquisite taste. Each room she has done is designed beautifully with the perfect placement of furniture and exceptional fabrics and colors. It is a delight to work with her and her team!

This is the third project I have done with Shirley Horowitz since 1990. The first two were homes in Nashville, and currently we are working on a project to remodel our farm house. From start to finish, Shirley is always professional, does what she says she is going to do when she says she is going to do it, and delivers a finished product that is not only beautiful, but comfortable for your life style. She does not design your home to her taste, but rather to yours. My husband and I have been extremely pleased with every aspect of our association with Davishire and highly recommend their services.

Shirley Davishire is the only designer I call when I need help or advise. We moved to Nashville 35 years ago. In the earlier years I tried 3 other designers but was never satisfied with the results. A friend of mine directed me to Shirley, and I finally found a designer in whom I could trust. Below the survey asks about dates of project. I have used Davishire for all my decorating needs for around 25 yrs.

The best in the business. Have been fortunate enough to have had several homes decorated by Shirley over many years and have never been anything except totally thrilled and satisfied with the results. She and the entire Davishire staff are true professionals and have always been great to work with, while at the same time, never being overbearing or trying to push you into something you won't be entirely happy with. Shirley has impeccable taste and, whether dealing with traditional , contemporary or something in between, will make the most knowledgeable and discerning customer happy. I have never found designers that were more intuned with my vision for the interior. We went room to room and ended up doing my entire home! Davishires made my husband and me feel completely at ease, never rushed or in doubt. I chose furniture and fabrics you could not discover on your own. The price of the service was included in the price of the offerings, minus 20% full retail. I would highly recommend their products and services.

We have used Davishire Interiors for 30 years. They have guided us to purchase furniture and accessories that have withstood the test of time. For example, I have recovered a 25 year old couch 3 times and it is still a classic and well made piece. We moved from a larger home to a smaller one and our furniture fit perfectly; our rugs/artwork/accessories were recombined to make beautiful rooms. Our friends thought we had purchased everything new when it was really just our furniture arranged in different ways. A good design firm with save you money in the long run by keeping you from making costly mistakes.
