Crimson Design Group has worked with us for many years both in Ohio and Florida. When we first moved to Florida, Cheryl came to Jupiter, FL and spent several days with us. She scheduled her trip so she could be with us when the movers came. Cheryl, knew exactly where each piece of furniture, artwork, and accessories should go. She assertively directed the movers. She turned our new house into the home we had envisioned. She created an Old World/Mediterranean style and captured our unique family style. Recently, we moved to Bradenton, FL and once again we reached out to Cheryl and Crimson Design Group to work with us in the renovation of our new home. Cheryl and her team diligently worked with us every step through the renovation. Cheryl, has traveled to Florida several times to oversee the remodeling project. We have also communicated via FaceTime so she could speak to our contractors. Cheryl has spent many hours working with us to create a Coastal Modern home. She has guided us through the selection of everything from flooring, to paint, tile to window treatments, lighting to art.
Crimson Design has been outstanding at designing our homes every time we have moved. Crimson’s team is extraordinarily creative and reliable. We will not hesitate to work with them again for any design project.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Crimson Design to you.
My husband and I have hired Crimson Design four times since 2010 for large design renovations at our home and at our company offices. We just finished another project in January, 2016. Each time we have found them to listen exceptionally well and take a personal as well as professional interest in achieving the end result that we desired.
I initially chose Crimson Design after I began noticing the commonality of those who were referring them to us. All very private individuals who expect exceptional work as well as desire complete confidentiality. What I heard and then experienced myself was that in addition to receiving the expected talent and expertise, one experiences a different level of genuine personal care and consideration.
There is an intention to fully hear and then bring forth the dream & desire of the client. There is an intentional integrity, a dignity, a deliberate confidentiality and relational sincerity with which the company professionally operates.
I noticed that all the contractors that came into our home and work space operated in a professional manner and spoke of the integrity & goodness of Cheryl & Luis and their firm.
Our experience is that we hired a company with national level notoriety & esteem but one that intentionally stays down to earth in their work ethic and dedication to the individual and company for whom they are working.
My husband and I find that our home finally & fully reflects who we are as a couple and a family. I look around at the beauty and feel more at home than I have ever been in my surroundings. I know that this is due to the professional eye and heart that got to know me, truly hear my vision/desires and then brought it all into being.
My husband and I live in a state of gratitude for the results given to us over and over by Crimson Design.

This group is overpriced and underperforms. Major issues include:
1. it took weeks to have our second meeting where they showed us a design plan with the wrong family name on every page. It was insulting and clear they had thrown it together at the last minute. There wa no style in the first round plans and they had to go back and redo it completely.
2. The business manager, Kay, is terrible. She charged us for two kitchen variances when we only had one, recharged us for time when it was already included in the flat fee, and doesn't know how to apply credits for returns. She is either stealing from the company or is incompetent. Make sure to double check all your invoices.
3. When we signed on we thought we would have Cheryl leading the project, but she wasn't involved after having her baby and never came by to check her teams' work or see the finished project. This was not made clear to us before
signing on and is totally unprofessional.
4. We did an entire first floor renovation and your designer should be the one to alleviate headaches not create them. They were the worst part of our renovation.

Crimson Design Group is responsible for creating a unique and inviting space for both of my home in Seattle and in New York City.
Cheryl, came to my new construction home in Seattle and uniquely designed every room in my three bedroom home. She created a fun and eclectic "pink" office/creative workspace room and a serene "blue" bedroom and a vibrant "red" living and dining area. Every detail was accounted for including the choice of faucets, mirrors, and accents. My home became a destination place for my busy Fremont neighbors.
She also worked on my brownstone apartment in Brooklyn. My 1890's brownstone has all of the detail of dark, finely carved trim. She brought out the "old world" charm with vibrant colors and unique utilization of space that I didn't think possible.
Crimson Design has been there for me across coasts and across huge differences in construction and style. I will use them again and again. Most importantly, they paid attention to me and my style (and also my busy schedule. I just showed up one day and my homes were beautiful). There was nothing boiler plate about any part of the experience.

The reviewer (Mrs Tishkoff) and I worked together many months on design of the construction and all the selections that needed to be made. We agreed to work on an hourly basis during the construction phase. The next phase was design selections of all the furnishings. The client chose to do this phase with our flat fee option. With a flat fee we design the rooms by selecting the exact pieces and give only a few revisions within that fee, otherwise continual changes will be billed at our hourly rate. After the first meeting of presenting the design The client gave us feedback that she felt we were lacking in style what she was hoping for her office. We took that to heart and went back to the drawing board and redesigned the space and no extra charge to her. (In other rooms she liked that we brought a wall covering in that she was not expecting and did bring design elements in she was not expecting.)
Our process is tailored specifically to our clients' and what they have expressed to us and is very well thought out and well considered.
We are very cognizant of our clients investments and what existing pieces that have importance to them. We work hard to integrate into overall style of project. It is common to have multiple meetings to achieve the finished design result. As our focus was on all design elements, the only mistake was not changing the fictitious name on the template. The design plans were new and completely designed for her. This mistake helped us internally change our template with the fictitious name so that it does not happen again.
Our firm works together as a team to work to all our strengths. I work on the construction side with clients and at the design furnishing phase the project was handed off to Stephanie, our design director, who coordinates the design and rest of the project with other designers and staff. I was leaving to go on maternity leave for the birth of my child as it went into this phase. The project was installed and completed during the time of my maternity leave. I entrust our designers and project managers to handle all aspect of the install as they have taken care of all elements leading up to this point. Going into my maternity leave, I stressed to all of clients that my team would be taking care of all projects.
Kay has been our business manager as a highly trusted and valued employee for 6 years. Her honesty and integrity has not been called to question. Her commitment is appreciated, not just to Crimson, but to our clients, our vendors, artisans, craftspeople and manufacturers.
For the past 14 years we have done our very best to provide our clients with exceptional design and exceptional service. These are the hallmarks upon which Crimson stands. And at end of day we believe our exceptional integrity is what we value most.
We regret that the project did not meet her expectations.
