Lynda Griffen, Senior Designer of Creative Designs by Lynda has been hired to work on several projects for me in my home and my business. Lynda was recently hired to finish my unfished basement, which looks amazing. I have received numerous complements and requests for her services as a result. At the start of the process, Lynda took time to ask specific questions to capture our purpose and vision for our basement of both my husband and me as we walked through the basement. She provided suggestions that we hadn’t considered throughout the process, such as relocating the bathroom to provide more living space. The level of communication was great. Lynda provided several architectural renditions of the basement. She hired the contractors, coordinated the scheduling of the contractors, and provided oversight of the work as a General Contractor. Lynda was very intentional to keep me abreast of changes in the scheduling due to situations such as the weather, delayed supplies and contractor issues. Also, she interacted with the county inspectors and the contractors to ensure issues/concerns were addressed properly to ensure permits were approved timely to stay on schedule. Lynda accompanied me to flooring and furniture stores providing me several options she thought would work in my space and provide functionality based on our conversations. I have confidence in her professionalism; level of communication with me and the contractors; her ability to resolve challenging situations; and make tough decisions with the contractors throughout the projects. I highly recommend Lynda Griffen and her team to design your project!

I put my home on the market the first Friday in March, and on Monday I had three offers all above asking price. This is due to Lynda’s beautiful design concept.

Lynda was an absolute pleasure to work with on my interior and exterior design projects. Her ability to choose and contrast color is exceptional. She chose the paint colors for the entire exterior and interior of my home. Additionally, she did full design consultation, full service floor planning, furniture and textile selection. Her taste was excellent and I would highly recommend her services. She also made the process really fun and exciting. I would highly recommend Lynda to anyone who is interested in updating their interior or exterior.

CID by Lynda designed and constructed our theater room and she and her team did a phenomenal job. She started with a blank canvass in an unfinished room and created a beautiful, comfortable and functional theater room. Lynda took our vision and ideas and worked within our budget to select materials, furniture, technology and every detail of our theater. Her team was professional, courteous, and skilled at their individual specialties. The project was completed in a reasonable time despite supply chain issues and carpet that was delivered damaged. Lynda ensured that the project stayed on track and honored all of the price quotes that she provided in the initial consultation and contract. This is the second project I have done with CID by Lynda and absolutely recommend her for any size project to enhance or transform your home to the home of your dreams.

Lynda has changed the comfort of my home life in ways I can’t explain but will try. My space was small, dreary, nothing went together, and it was not functional. Lynda is a miracle worker. My home looks better than I could have ever imagined. I did not know how to explain to her what my style was but she was able to look at my failed attempts and pinpoint exactly what I wanted. I walk into my home now and smile because its such a beautiful cozy space that also functions! Everything looks nice and is practical for my daily living. Lynda is very personable with a great sense of humor. We had many laughs together; she made this a fun experience. She also explained why some things work together and why some don’t. I learned a lot from her but can never amount to her talent of course. I highly recommend Creative Interior Design by Lynda for any project!

Creative Interior Designs by Lynda did a fantastic job redesigning my addition! Her design took a very dark space and made it light and inviting. Now this is the room that all my guests and family want to stay in when they visit. Since this was my first major project using a designer, I really appreciated how she listened to my ideas and was able to translate them into reality. Her professionalism and the quality of work was excellent. Even though Lynda did work within my budget, I must admit that it was me that had blew my budget a bit :) I was so happy with her work that I have hired her to help me remodel my kitchen!

Lynda turned our white walled bedroom into a luxury hotel room or high end bedroom in a New York or LA high end condo. The subtle colors, the soft chairs and unique lighting added color , texture and style to our bedroom. It was a great transformation and she also helped me better organize my bedroom closet. Our bedroom is now a sanctuary that we enjoy sitting in and escape the hustle of daily work. We added an office for my husband and she made it masculine with style using leather lamps. The quality of the work is high end and as before she met our budget needs.

Lynda did an awesome job and transformed our spaces-living room, dining room , family room, sunroom and office. She was very professional and mindful of the budget if we wanted to make changes or additions. Lynda provide a layout of the project that showed all pieces in the room and kept great contact about scheduling of the project. The reveal was amazing and my family was in awe and from pictures only my Director at work wanted her contact information. The sun room is spectacular with the green from outside framed by cream drapes with glass centerpieces with greenery on a roustic table with cream and white place settings .Lynda made our house a home that is warm, beautiful and reflects me and my husband.

This was Lynda's day off, but she was gracious enough to come to our home and make an exception. Creative Interior Designs by Lynda did an awesome job on my unfinished basement. I had secured a carpenter, but then realized that I was totally out of my league with the questions they asked. Then God sent CID by Lynda. She was able to work with me and the carpenter to ensure that my vision became reality. I wanted a fun, party-like atmosphere in my basement. Lynda threw a little "New Orleans" theme with bright colors, along with an area to relax. Lynda is the ULTIMATE professional.

It has truly been a pleasure working with Lynda of Creative Interior Designs. On the day of our big reveal, it was such a surreal feeling. We couldn't believe our eyes. Our family room looked as if it were from a model home or a magazine. It took our breath away. After weeks of decision making we finally got a chance to see it all together. And it by far exceeded our expectations as well as the service received from Lynda and her staff. Truly amazing! The use of different textures and colors worked brilliantly together. And the surprise elements included in the overall design REALLY put the room on another level for us. We also love how Lynda carried some of the design elements into the neighboring powder room. AMAZING!!! Needless to say we are more than pleased with the work of Creative Interior Designs and would HIGHLY recommend Lynda and her company to others. We have received countless compliments and look forward to working with her again in the very near future. Creative Interior Designs by Lynda is a wonderful company. I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. Lynda came to the area in October after a phone consultation about my window treatment for my Family Room. We did 3 windows and added color coordinated accessories for the existing tables, along with pillows for the sofa and love seat. I was not sure of the colors I wanted to use or what type window treatment I wanted. Lynda gave excellent advice, was very knowledgeable about where we could purchase the window treatments and had great ideas for the accessories. Her skill in hanging the window treatment got things done in no time. The room is now very warm and inviting. My family really likes the changes. I truly enjoyed working with her and I will call on her again:)

My interior designer Lynda Griffin was very professional, knowledgeable with a very positive attitude. The initial consultation was everything that was to be expected for being hire for the job. The job consisted of upgrading the master bedroom and bathroom from the 1980s look to a more updated contemporary look. Of course, no project is perfect, there were a few hick ups, with some of the hired contractors, who didn’t live up to their contractual obligations and were immediately dismissed and new contractors were hired quickly, although it did delay the project by about two weeks. All said and done I was satisfied with the final outcome. I was surprise by Lynda with some very nice new closet doors, that weren’t on the original invoice, since there happened to be a few extra dollars available from the budget. It was a very nice touch. I believe by hiring a professional designer, instead of just attempting to do it myself, enable me to see all of the possibilities of transforming my master bedroom and bathroom into something that I didn’t even imagine or perceive. There were additional ideas for things I would have never even though about doing in the master bedroom and bathroom. Like doing pendant lights over the bedside night stands, dimmers lights in the corners of the room. Wood ceramic floor tiles in the bathroom to give it a fully functional feeling of wood without and water damage. And of course the color scheme with the accent colors. Everything complimented each other very well.

Lynda is a true professional when it comes to your interior design needs. She took the time out to get to know what our needs and wants were for our new home. She went that extra mile to make our house a home. Being new homeowners, she was aware of our budget and we were about the get our Family Room/Dining Room, Mudroom, and Powder room done well in our budget. The color scheme and the furniture selection really work well together and the accent chairs gave the room that extra pop. The end result was fantastic. I am look forward to doing more projects with the help of Lynda.

Creative Interior Design initially completed a project in my kitchen and later basement and family room. Lynda is courtesy and extremely attentive to detail. She initially provided a consultation to learn how the space would be used, particularly for the basement project. She also learn what color scheme was desired. Lynda was extremely effective in creating a warm atmosphere in my home with warm color and rustic features. The family room was transformed in two days from very plain to inviting room now with crown molding picture boxes, mantle for the fire place, new pillows for the couches, and draperies. The basement project was sketched, but initially a different contractor was used. This contractor's services were unsatisfactory. Lynda immediately illicited the services of her team, who agreed to take on the project after someone else had started it, which was not a standard practice. However, because it was Lynda, they agreed to complete the project. The project was completed in three weeks when the other contractor didn't finish the project in three months. The project was done just in time for football season! The basement is loved by everyone that enters, particularly the theater room. This room has hosting many events from football gatherings, fight parties, girl's movie night and just vegging out. We love the space! I fully recommend the services of Creator Interior Design by Lynda and would use this service for other rooms in my house.

Creative Interior Designs by Lynda provides classy and stylish designs for any room. Lynda redesigned our master bedroom into a high end hotel suite. She was able to work on our budget and utilize pieces we already owned. She added pops of color with paint, pictures and accessories with luxurious bedding. She was able to give us practical advice on "wasted space" in my husband's closet and now every square inch is being used. Lynda is a first class designer with impeccable taste.

I have worked with Creative Interior Designs by Lynda for my living room and most recently to renovate my business, which is a hair salon over 5,000 sq feet. Lynda did a fabulous job on both. My salon is gorgeous. My tenants love the renovated space as well as their clients, Her bubbly personality was so comforting during the renovation, dealing with contractors, suppliers, etc. She helped me to stay calm by reassuring me everything would come together and be beautiful, which it is. Lynda helped me select the colors for the salon, recommended furniture, light fixtures, art work, etc. I could not have done this project and been pleased without her professional services. I highly recommend Creative Interior Designs by Lynda. i will definitely turn to Creative Interior Designs by Lynda for future design projects.
