I’ve been thinking about what it is about Corine that made her so incredibly valuable during our recent remodel. Not only is she a breath of fresh air, but she has amazing “design judgment.” She knows when to splurge, when to stress, and when to let it go. She has good instincts and is a creative problem solver. The few times I didn’t listen to her advice, I wish I had! I am so glad I had Corine in my corner during the process and I am thrilled with the result. I never thought I would have such a beautiful—but also functional—home to raise my three boys. My husband and I worked with Corine over the past year to turn the house we bought in Mill Valley, California into the home we envisioned for our family. Corine truly knocked it out of the park and exceeded our expectations. Corine is easy to work with and made what felt like a very overwhelming design project to us, feel totally manageable. In terms of strengths, Corine is highly organized, transparent, responsive and a terrific communicator. She got to know us on a level that allowed her to sense what we would like but she also pushed us to open our apperture on design elements we never would have considered and the results were great. I have recommended Corine to friends and would absolutely hire again!

Our Florida house was decorated over a period of almost nine years and was eclectic – not in a great way. On a whim one evening, I conducted a web search for interior designers and found CM Natural Designs profiled in an article, along with seven others. After reviewing each designer’s portfolio, I selected CM Natural Designs to contact, along with a couple of other designers I found in other articles. After speaking to Corine via FaceTime, we knew instantly that she was the designer for us. We were apprehensive about spending money on something we historically thought we could tackle with Pinterest. But Corine’s detailed explanation of her design process, her professionalism and effervescence and the strength of her portfolio – varied and clearly brimming with the respective homeowner’s personality – convinced us to make the leap. From beginning to end, Corine bowled us over with her talent, organizational skills, attention to detail and responsiveness. Even my husband (ever the skeptic) was impressed with her. Her design presentation nailed the vision of what we thought our house could look like. Within one week, we purchased 90% of the items she recommended. Over the next few months, our house was transformed from a mish mosh of accumulated high-end & Home Goods items to a serene retreat that is functional and still feels like our “home.” I often sit in the rooms that she redesigned, soaking in the touches. She doesn’t “push” her preferences – she really listens and translates your preferences into a beautiful, cohesive design. The fact that she is based in CA, and we are based in FL presented zero issues. The initial style study was conducted through FaceTime. Communication was handled primarily through email and text, with the ad hoc call, if needed. Corine and her amazing studio manager, Jenny, were on top of every detail. After completing four rooms with Corine, we engaged her to redesign our master bedroom, which was just recently installed. We will have her redesign our master bathroom & powder room, as well – I’ll be upset when we run out of rooms for her to redo. We joke that Corine is not only our interior designer but our “life coach.” I literally won’t make some purchases without checking in with her, and my husband can be convinced to buy things if I mention that it was her idea. I have very high standards, but Corine exceeded our expectations. My perspective on interior design has completely changed. If we had invested in this upfront before purchasing our mish mosh of stuff over time, we would have saved money on not having to “fix” things down the road. We can’t recommend Corine and CM Natural Designs enough. Her talent combined with her operational prowess and responsiveness is rare – and she’s a delight to work with. We feel so lucky to have found her!

This design firm created such a unique and fabulous space for our bathtub to be placed in! Their name is well represented within the space they made. Thinking outside of the box and creating such an environment can only be done by extremely talented designers, which CM Natural design has proven to have. I would highly recommend consulting with them to come up with something unique and special for your home!

Corine and Erin from CM Natural Designs are a godsend to the stylistically challenged. It's not that my wife and I don't have a style, but I can tell you there's a huge difference between kinda knowing what you like and being able to put together a cohesive vision (and comprehensive list of furnishings) that you will love - within your budget. Our experience couldn't have been better, and as just one example of going above and beyond for us, Corine went to the trouble of lugging a locally-designed custom chair from her own home to let us try it out before purchasing! We felt like they really cared about achieving our style, budget and timeline and are clearly passionate about what they do. We can enthusiastically recommend CM Natural Designs to anyone looking for talented and dedicated designers with a keen eye for your own personal style.

We worked with Erin to help furnish our 5500 sq foot house that we had nothing for. It was a pleasure working with her. She had great ideas and created a place I love walking into. Rhianna and her team were absolutely fantastic throughout this entire process. She took the time to focus on the individual elements within each room and suggest amazing complements that accentuated the style of our home. We were especially impressed with Rhianna's ability to make our entire home feel like a classic beach cottage. She was able to pick finishes that were stylish and yet affordable, with excellent color choices and beautiful finishes. Rhianna was always punctual, attentive and understanding throughout this entire remodel. Amid the expected frustrations that can arise during a remodel, Rhianna was always able to put my mind at ease that the issue would be taken care of and bring me back to the excitement we would experience at the end of this project. We would definitely use CM Natural Designs again!

My wife and I moved to San Diego into a large single family home from a small 2 bedroom condo in San Francisco. Our previous furniture did not work stylistically or scale-wise. We had to start over and having so much more space made it seem like a daunting task. Enter Corine Maggio of CM Natural Designs. What initially drew us to Corine was her big picture understanding of what we wanted to achieve, thorough explanation of the process and expected costs, and infectious enthusiasm. When you hire a designer you are not just hiring someone to pick your furniture for you, its a collaborative process that involves developing a strong designer-client relationship and report. This is where Corine and her team really shine! We probably had more back and forth on minor design decisions than most clients but Corine was very patient with us. Her goals aligned with ours- to get the design perfect. I personally had difficult moments during the design and purchasing process where the anxiety of spending so much money definitely got to me but Corine and Jenny were able to coach me through the process. We originally hired Corine to do the entryway, breakfast nook, and living room. That quickly expanded to just about everything in our house including our master bedroom which is so cozy, classic and beautiful. From a pure design standpoint there are a ton of highlights but our favorites are the black powder room with the floral wallpaper and the custom built-in cabinet designs in both the office and dining room. We purchased our home in 2014 and have used CM Natural Designs on two separate occasions - for designing services/furniture/paint as well as for two total bathroom renovations. To say we would use her team in the future is an absolute guarantee. When doing our research on designers, we knew we needed someone who was confident in their design aesthetic but flexible with ours, mindful but creative with budget considerations, and a brand/company who was passionate, professional, and hands-on - this IS CM Natural Designs. From the moment we decided to move forward, Corine and her team were ready and available to answer all of our logistical/design questions - they were professional, worked with our deadlines, SUPER organized, and the attention to detail was always evident in everything she and her team did. For our master bathroom, she helped us envision the look and feel and manipulated the space/design to reflect that. We wanted ours to be a complete juxtaposition between masculine (industrial look and feel of bathroom hardware and shower door) and feminine design elements (brushed gold details/decorative lighting). To say this was accomplished would be an understatement. We LOVE our bathrooms. The whole experience with CM Natural Designs, from start to finish, was as effortless as any renovation could possibly be. As there are ALWAYS bumps in the process of any renovation (i.e. contractor issues, unexpected costs, ect.), Corine and her team took ownership of our project and handled it with poise and professionalism from start to finish. We will absolutely use her team in the future and cannot recommend her company enough.

Do yourself a favor--hire Corine Maggio for your next project. She not only helped us with interior design, she generously helped us with selection of materials for our condo remodel. Corine and her staff are very responsive to questions, acts quickly in getting the project completed within budget, and do their best to make you a happy customer. Besides that, Corine has excellent taste. I was thrilled with the final design. Thanks to Corine, I better understand my own design esthetic and style, which is a gift that will transcend this project. I would definitely hire Corine again.

My wife and I are from the Maldives in the Indian Ocean. We have 3 sons aged 22 (a Medical Student), 19 (a Law Student) and 15 (still Schooling). All three are good swimmers and loves fishing and water sports. The younger 2 are Maldives national swimmers; having participated in the FINA World Championships, the Youth Olympics, the Commonwealth Games, the Asian Games and many more international Meets. Given that our family loves the sea, we bought a 4000 square feet beach front land on the island of Fulhadhoo in the Horsburgh Atoll, Maldives. Fulhadhoo is a fishing village with under 200 inhabitants. Having bought the land, we decided the we must build a house with a better floor plan and an interior to suit us. It is not the amount of money that we spend; but the floor plan, the interior and exterior design and arrangements that will make the property great. For us, simplicity and practicality is the best. Given that, 3 children are studying in 3 different places; discussion and decision making was difficult. We spent hour discussing and drawing floor plans with various permutations. We browsed the internet and looked at 100s of floor plans and interior and exterior designs. After a weeks of web browsing and discussion, one thing emerged. The designs we like better are from design firm called CN Natural Design in the United States. They are nice, simple and very practical. Most of their designs are of a coastal theme - what we were looking for. We sent an email to CN Natural Design to see whether they could help us in designing a 4 bedroom beach house. Within a few days of our email, Corine Maggio of CN Natural Design called me. One of the first thing she asked was whether I was a swimmer? She may have done a Google search! I explained to her our requirement and limitations. We had many more discussion. We explained to Corine, the Maldives Building Code requirements and shared photos and videos of our land and the environment. Corine was eager to listen, polite and very friendly. She completed the project on the agreed time and costs were reasonable. She did the floor plans of the house and gave us various interior and exterior options. The floor plans are unique and innovative. The open concept arrangement and rooms layout was excellent. The floor plans were such that we could build the roof to harness solar power for all our lighting requirements - no carbon foot print. The design will, surely, blend with the island environment. The structural engineering was done by Maldivian engineer. We got the building permits and soon be starting construction. I am happy, without any hesitation, to recommend Corine to undertake a coastal house design project. She is capable of doing a marvelous job.

We hired Corrine Maggio of CM Natural Designs late in the major remodeling of our 1962 ranch house. We were facing decisions on multiple major items at once -- flooring, cabinets, countertops, tile, paint, fireplace, exterior stucco -- pretty much every major surface inside and outside the house, and we needed to make decisions quickly to not delay our builder. Corrine instantly put me at ease about the tasks ahead. She listened intently, asked great questions, and never once made me feel like she was trying to impose her design aesthetic on us when we didn't invite it. She was flexible about our working arrangement, which was important given all the other chaos the remodel was imposing on our lives. She made really constructive suggestions on how to move forward, how to share our design wants and needs, including taking into account the differences between my wife and my styles. In very short order she helped us pull together a truly stunning palette of materials and colors, and we revel in the joy we feel every day in our gorgeous house. The transformation from a house that didn't get much love for nearly 50 years to a very functional, beautiful, design-savvy, but modest house in which we are eager to spend time and to entertain is breathtaking. It is hard now to even imagine what it looked like before, and Corrine and Lisa of CM Natural Designs were instrumental in getting us there. We look forward to continuing to work with them on completing the furnishings, window treatments, and other interior design elements to complete the transformation. We have recommended Corrine and company to multiple friends and colleagues and will continue to do so.
