Christine Markatos Design is a nationally published, full service interior design studio based in Santa Monica. Founded in 2005 and led by principal designer Christine Markatos Lowe, the studio is known for creating sophisticated spaces that are enlivened with a fresh mixture of pattern, color and texture while meeting the needs and lifestyles of those who live there. Christine and her team are committed to outstanding client service and professional collaboration while creating beautiful interiors. Typical projects range in scale from redecorating to freshen up a few rooms to designing every interior detail of a newly constructed home.

We have worked with Christine on 3 projects. She did a fantastic job on our first apartment in 1996 in Soho in New York City and it is still looks great to this day. With a growing family, we then moved into a townhouse in the West Village where Christine created another warm, timeless, elegant family living environment. When we suddenly decided to move across the country to California, she moved us into our new home in a matter of weeks. She is vigilant on timing and helps keep everyone on schedule. Christine honors your opinion and budget. We highly recommend, Christine!

Christine Markatos Design redecorated our home. We are so very pleased with the results. Everything was done on time and within our budget. Anytime I needed assistance or had questions, Christine was there to help me. I love the difference it made in our home...the fabrics chosen and her ideas on paint and wall covering made a big difference. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a creative and easy to work with firm.

Over the years, I hired Christine Markatos Design for her expertise for 3 separate projects, the last one being completed in the last year. All projects had a different style and Christine was able to transform all of them with her exquisite taste. Her attention to detail is like no other, as is her ability to meet deadlines, work well with others and work back to a budget. Christine has a ton of knowledge and experience and we were confident in all of the design choices she made for us. Christine is an absolute pleasure to work with!

Comentado: What is the interior paint color used in the houseThank you! The paint color is from Benjamin Moore and is called Chatsworth Cream. We cut it 50% with decorators white to keep it fresh.
