Budget 2 Beautiful Designs

I have a very long list of complaints about the project they did for me, but let's just hit the indisputable highlights. They did not obtain a license to work in my city. They did not obtain a permit to construct my project, which resulted in me receiving a court summons where I was going to be fined. They never did the required engineering plans, just a few computer renderings of what it would look like that anyone could have created with some free software. The contractor only showed up for a few minutes every few days, leaving people who didn't know how to do quality work and spoke minimal English to make mistake after mistake. They trashed out my yard, never cleaned up one single scrap, and illegally dumped concrete debris on city property across the street. I will be spending thousands of dollars to replace materials that were improperly installed. I won't continue, because I expect they will now want to respond by trying to gaslight me and make this somehow all my fault, just as they did every time I pointed out a problem.

I do not recommend Budget 2 Beautiful Designs. The tile work they did at my home was of very poor quality (see pictures). The initial work was performed over two weeks in May and I am still waiting (in July) for them to return and fix quality issues with the tile install and painting. During the work, I repeatedly requested that the workers keep the door to the garage closed (because they kept the garage door open); I have dogs who flew out the open doors the first day of the job. Every day after that, I found the door to the garage open despite repeated requests to keep it closed to keep my dogs safe. The light fixtures, art, and furniture were delivered to my home but the Designer did not return to place the items and there are still design elements that were supposed to be built that haven't been so my rooms look partially done. A refund for over $2k was promised for items I paid for that were never delivered but it has not been received and follow-up messages regarding that money don't receive responses. I even got to assemble my own furniture and hire an Electrician to install the light fixtures (because theirs never showed up to provide an estimate). There are still several items that were part of the original bid that I will have to find other people to complete. I was given a printout of the furnishings and accessories to complete my design but requests for the remaining item numbers and stores to order them from have been ignored. Basically, I need to start the job over (thus paying twice) to get a finished project of acceptable quality.

I found Brittany from Budget2Beautiful Designs through Houzz and am so happy I did ! She and husband, Chris, are great people to work with, and we love the wonderful kitchen update they did for us ! Brittany patiently worked through all the details with me and provided the color advice and design talent that I needed to help me create the perfect look for our kitchen that I wasn’t able to fully visualize on my own. Their skilled crew was always reliable and also a pleasure to work with. We won’t hesitate to ask them to help us with another project in the future!

Chris and his crew do amazing job. He is very personable and has great ideas. Communication is always there which is one of the biggest issues when dealing with an at home service company. Quality is also on point. I highly recommend them!!!

Budget 2 Beautiful Designs recently replaced all the floors on the first floor of our house with hard wood floors. To say they exceeded our expectations would be a complete understatement. If you are considering a home improvement project or remodel in the future, I highly recommend going with Budget 2 Beautiful Designs, you will not be disappointed.

My pantry door turned out exactly how I wanted, also the custom shelf above my couch turned out perfect. I will hire this company again for sure!

Brittany was and has since been very helpful with buying & renovating my first home! She always brings a positive attitude and high level of professionalism. She makes any documentation needed simple and quick, and has relationships built to help any type of home buyer. Highly recommend.

I could not ask for a better designer, planner, budgeter, etc. Brittany gave us numerous ideas for remodeling our basement. We decided on a concept and she went with it. She is an amazing worker that will get the job finished in a tight schedule and within your budget. She scheduled all the contractors to come in to do the work and was there every step of the way. We got exactly what we wanted out of our remodel and the cost was much less than we thought it would be for what we wanted. Brittany blew us away with her talent! Thank you for your hard work. We love our new bar area!
