After living in our home for almost 40 years, our 1980s master bath needed more than an "update" and we had absolutely no "vision" at all. We knew we needed to think ahead and plan for living in our home even when we might need handicapped access. Walls needed to be removed and plumbing needed to be rerouted in order to have a blank canvas to work with. Amy and her team thought of everything! Their attention to detail was amazing! From the demo process to the finished bathroom, we could not have asked for a better company to work with. We were dreading the job of shopping for tile, deciding on colors, and picking out hardware, but Amy made every step fun. Her crew showed up on time and communicated their plans with us so we were not left wondering what to expect each day. We cannot decide which part of the bathroom we like best! The cabinetry in the vanity and the wall of closets and drawers is a work of art!! Pictures just do not do this transformation justice. Our bathroom is truly exquisite! We know that someday this bathroom is going to be the thing that sells our home! We cannot wait for Amy to start working on our second bathroom! Amy and crew are amazing!!!!! My carpenter recommended her for painting and I had no idea she would also have expertise in decorating ideas, suggestions where to purchase things, etc. She then coordinates all the work that needs to be done. Was pleased with the workmanship of all of her people also. I loved and used everything Amy suggested for updating my kitchen. Decided to do a few updates to dining room also.

Amy and her team did a fantastic job on my kitchen, entry, fireplace and master bath! I started out with an idea and she helped me flesh it out. She had great ideas and was able to expand and improve on my vision. Her team was wonderful and worked around my elderly mom and pets. The final result was more than I I’d imaged. Amy was so amazing! My kitchen was torn up for almost 8 months and I wasn’t able to make a decision how to put it back together. I called Amy and she was at my house in 2 days and immediately was able to not only use the tile and backsplash I had already picked and she put it together so beautifully. We chose Amy and David after meeting with 3 companies. We felt they approached their projects as if they were working with a friend or family, and this proved to be the case. His and Tomas's talents are far-reaching, and he isn't finished until we say we're completely satisfied! Our remodel has been completed for a couple weeks now, and I can honestly say, I miss seeing these happy faces! But no worries, we are hiring them for a few other projects!

Amy and her team replaced our tub/shower with a walk in shower. They are perfectionists in everything they do! Amy directed us to tile stores and was a great help with the shower design and bath accessories. David was never without his level when installing the tile and did an awesome job installing the border of tile flowers. He and Tomas didn't seem to mind my 'sidewalk' supervising and patiently answered all my questions. Amy always gets back with you promptly, even while vacationing out of the country! Our remodel was extensive; we moved plumbing, took out a load-bearing wall and more. Amy made it all understandable, affordable, and BEAUTIFUL. She is an artist as well as a professional. Your personal style will shine through! Amy and David are incredibly gifted at what they do-- there is nothing you can ask for that they can't deliver. Every idea came to life, from a spectacular professional kitchen to a built in book case with salvaged glass doors. No matter the size of your project, Amy will make it the best it can possibly be. We love working with Amy! Our home was dated, dark and not functional. We told Amy our style is rustic; we homeschool and my husband works from home a few days a week. After going over our home Amy suggested updating in phases. Our first phase we did flooring, baseboards, paint, and fireplace. Everything Amy picked out was exactly what we love! Our floors are beautiful! The bigger baseboards made the walls look taller and updated. Amy found a color that is rustic but not dark! Very difficult! The paint color is bright and light. Also, she had the idea to paint the ceiling white. Again, I had no idea what a difference that would make! Our two favorite changes are the entryway hooks and our fireplace. Amy and her crew are absolutely amazing!! Our next phase is our kitchen and our last phase is the main bathroom. I know she will do an awesome job in both rooms!

We have lived in our house for 30 years and it has been awhile since we updated it last. We were looking for someone to work with us and bring new ideas and a fresh perspective. The short story is this: Amy and her crew are phenomenal! I’ve been very happy working with her through two projects. She brought our circa 1981 kitchen into the 21st Century two years ago (2019.) Each step of the way she interpreted our ideas into something beautiful, functional and refreshing. We cook at home a great deal, and the space she created has been nothing short of amazing. This year (2021) I decided to remodel the den, the hallway, and change the flooring throughout the house. Amy was my first and only call. Again, I was blown away! WOW! We couldn't be more impressed with Amy and her team. Our project lasted three. Tall ceilings, beam staining, all doors, all ceilings and many many linear feet of base boards and top trim to sand, kilz and paint! I can't say enough about this fine professional lady. Amy and her team renovated our kitchen, as well as tackling other outdated areas in the living room, dining room, master bedroom, and bathrooms. Along with being professional and knowledgeable, this team offered ideas that greatly enhanced the end product. We started out wanting updated kitchen cabinets but ended up getting a gorgeous kitchen with decorative touches in the rest of our home that fit our personalities. We are grateful for this team of artists and their superb work. A few examples of renovations: old scratched pocket door replaced with a barn door, overhead kitchen cabinets removed to expand lighting and openness, old canned lighting replaced with led lighting, laundry room became more functional with a new wall of cabinets, old kitchen cabinets brought to life with paint and countertops replaced. After 20 years of dark stained cabinets in our kitchen and utility room, Amy helped us come up with a bright and beautiful plan! She recommended a lovely light cream color for the cabinets in the kitchen and accented them with a bit of dark glaze along the edges. The difference in how bright and large the kitchen now looks is amazing! The utility room is now my favorite place in the house with red cabinets that are so FUN! I feel like I have a new house now ... and my hard-to-please husband is extremely happy!! Her work is exceptional! My husband and I worked with Amy to pick paint colors for our house. She spent a couple of hours with us and made a list of wall, ceiling, and trim colors for every room. She had a great range of color options and made suggestions that we would have never even considered without her input. She has a great eye for color and our house looks amazing! The colors that we stepped outside of our comfort zone on are our favorites. We also hired Amy and team to come back and complete the project by white washing the fireplace. That was the finishing touch! I'm so happy that we've found someone to work with on future projects as well!

Amy repainted a large old cabinet in our master bedroom to match brand new zinc-front night stands. She and Christina did a wonderful job. I contacted Amy in the summer about painting my kitchen cabinets. (She was recommended to me by a painting company that did not do special techniques.) I wanted my cabinets to look like the ones I had seen in an image I found on the web. A tall order that required an unusual technique. I had to wait several weeks to get on her schedule but it was well worth the wait. She just finished the job and I am thrilled. She is so talented and has a great eye for color. My cabinets look beautiful. She used a dragging technique on the cabinets and they look fabulous. She is fun to work with and has a great attitude. She is a delight. I will happily refer her to others and will not hesitate to use her again.

I checked around a got a few referrals but once I met and consulted with Amy I knew I had found the right person to take on my painting needs. I wanted my stained kitchen cabinets, molding and doors painted white. I was open to a new color for my island and french doors and Amy suggested a color I had not thought of. I love it! In fact I used that left over paint and painted the inside of my front door! Amy also painted the hinges and changed out my door knobs. It's a brand new kitchen now and its beautiful, just as I had imagined! Amy was so warm and friendly and knowledgeable and experienced that I had every confidence that she would do a great job, and a superb job she did! It was a pleasure working with Amy and her team. The cabinets in three of our bathrooms were well-made, wood, custom cabinets that were painted high-gloss white many years ago. Amy's team sanded them down and repainted all the cabinets (sink and wall cabinets). Amy made recommendations for the paint color and the one we selected is perfect. The rooms now have a fresh, contemporary look. I have a couple more projects pending and I plan to work with Amy's Paint Effects again.

Amy just painted my kitchen and master bath cabinets. They look great! She sets very high standards for her work and wants to please her customers. She made a wonderful suggestion for painting my island a different color. A previous painter had only spray painted my cabinets but she sanded, painted, and sealed them. Amy and her husband painted the entire inside of our home including doors, trim, and window sills. Amy's eye for color is brilliant, and the job they did for us was outstanding. Our house was transformed into a living space that truly feels like home.

Amy did such a wonderful job with our kitchen. We had good quality cabinets that were installed in the 90's when our house was built. Over the years, the wood yellowed giving the kitchen a really outdated look; it was depressing. I showed Amy a picture of what I had in mind (painting and antiquing the cabinets), and she was able to reproduce that perfectly. Our kitchen now looks like a kitchen you'd find in an upscale new home. I couldn't be happier with the results. I wholeheartedly recommend Amy. Amy is such a wonderful artist! One of the fireplaces displayed in her projects, is mine! Her work is impeccable. In addition to the fireplace, Amy restored my Mother's dining table, chairs and dry buffet. They were very sentimental to me, but were very dated. Amy truly wowed me with the finished results. Not only was I able to keep such an invaluable legacy of my Mother, but the pieces are now classic and timeless and will be beautiful in any decorative setting. She restored my banisters to my stairs and I can hardly wait to work on the faux brick! Amy came to my home in Central America & helped me purchase ALL the furnishings, including chandeliers that were hung & all paint colors for the rooms. She even did a special elegant stencil on our Master bedroom wall & a special technique on our outdoor terrazzo walls!! She is Suuper Gifted, professional & has an amazingly positive attitude. I had a small project that I've been trying to get done for over a year. I had several painters to come out, but no one every returned since the job was so small. Not only did Amy return, she returned in style. She had great ideas and was ready to go to work right away. She was very professional and is very talented. Amy brought life to my kitchen and master bathroom. She stained the cabinets a beautiful modern brown stain color. I had white washed kitchen cabinets and white bathroom cabinets. Everyone compliments me on the beautiful cabinets. I have referred friends & family to her and every one says she does great work and has wonderful ideas. FANTASTIC!!! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! Amy will delight you with her great ideas, her strong work ethic, her professionalism, her prices and her just plain likability! Amy was recommended by a neighbor who was greatly pleased with her work on kitchen cabinets. When she came into my kitchen, she took 20 year old cabinets and made them look new again! No - she made them look better than they did when they were new. Her suggestions were spot-on and she even refused extra payment that we offered when there was something that took her longer than expected (not her fault). We love our kitchen! And we gave her name to my sister, for whom she redid a deck beautifully. Another friend then had Amy redo her kitchen cabinets and that friend is just as happy as we are! Do Not go anywhere else, as you won't find anyone who does a better job than Amy!!!

Amy and her crew are very professional. They carefully hung plastic to keep sanding debris from the rest of the house while completing the cabinet finish. Protects floors and furnishings while completing faux wall finishes. Amy listens to what you want and then completes in a timely manner. Her love for her work and her gentle personality made this such a pleasant experience. I recommend her to anyone that needs work completed. Amy came back and finished my new alder wood doors that were installed recently. Amy just completed taking a lackluster, builder-grade island and turned it into the show piece of my kitchen! Her work was amazing - she was able to match the color and "distressed" look of my Ethan Allen kitchen table and chairs perfectly. She completed the job on time and better yet, left the kitchen cleaner than when she found it! We were typical new homeowners that had the neutral colored walls when we moved in. This wasn't the first house we bought and my husband and I had painted our previous house ourselves. This house was a different style and I wasn't sure what paint color to use. We had brown leather furniture and the walls just felt cold. I had a consultation with Amy and she immediately came up with antiquing the walls using the rag rolling method. She also suggested putting color on the front of the kitchen bar since it was an open concept living area. The bar was done first in a deep red and then rag rolled and antiqued on the moldings to tie it into the living area. Then the walls in the living area were antiqued. It is beautiful and warm, just what I wanted! She also helped with placement of art work and curtain colors. She works within your budget, can help figure out what you want and is a pleasure to work with. She is a true professional !

Amy was amazing! Her team transformed my typical "pecan Texas kitchen" into a true jem! I am beyond excited about the results. They covered all of my belongings, answered all of my questions, and best of all... They asked me if I was pleased during each phase of work. (Which helped put my mind at ease.)
