Amy Nicholas Interior Design

We decided that we wanted to work with the Design Team at Amy Nicholas as their ideas and knowledge really helped and encouraged us step out of our comfort zone... which is (to be fair) why we wanted to work with an interior designer. We wanted our space to be timeless, that also had an element of uniqueness. Amy and her team have a passion for natural materials, textures and organic shapes that matches our own. When they presented their concept to us they explain every element and their reasons behind choosing it, and it was fascinating to get an insight into how their minds work and how the design was put together. They managed all the contractors that we required on site, who were all very talented, polite and meticulous. This really made the experience even more enjoyable, and watching the space evolve infront of our eyes was a very exciting process. We're more then happy with our new Master bedroom suite, it's exceed all of our expectations. Super excited to see what they come up with for the rest of the house! Thanks again guys! Ian and Lucy.

Amy recently came to visit us to see the completion of our latest project. This was a big job which involved a complete refurbishment of the hall/landing/stairs and downstairs cloakroom. Having worked with Amy on several projects I knew that the end result would be just as we wanted. The hallway is now a very welcoming and light space and the choice of furniture and lighting is lovely. The downstairs cloakroom is great and Amy’s choice of dramatic wallpaper along with the very pretty taps and basin have turned this little room into a very special place. I really enjoyed working with Amy and I’m looking forward to the next project

In July of 2021 we moved into a new house & wanted to make our new house into a home. My wife & I would have taken a significant amount of time to make this a reality so we hired Amy & her team to help us. In just 6 months, Amy has designed a beautiful home layout for us & ensured we’ve had the highest quality of tradesmen to create our dream home. The attention to detail has been incredible & we could not be happier. Communication has been impeccable throughout also. Would highly recommend to anyone for any job. I have no doubt we will use Amy again when we dream up our next project. Shoutout to Antonia as well who has been great throughout.

Professionalism personified from the first contact through to completion of a full redesign and refurb of our old farmhouse. Amy and her team were knowledgeable, personable and reliable throughout the process with none of the "snootiness" often associated with designers. Their down to earth approach combined with the latest in design ideas, trends and supplies have created a stylish home beyond our expectations. I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph some lifestyle images of a range of products for Amy's Tradescant & Sons fabric collection. From cushions, to lampshades to curtains, the range was absolutely stunning and Amy is fantastic to work with and has a clear and creative eye for her brand. Using natural light, we produced a set of images which Amy can use for all her marketing purposes and for editorial. I can't wait to see her range evolve and look forward to future collaborations.

I worked with Amy a few years ago when i needed some professional help with interior design when I moved into our newly built house. The house is large and I needed help with everything as it felt overwhelming and I didn’t know where to start Amy helped me to get the feel of our property right - understanding our needs with everything from the soft furnishings ie curtains, cushions to solid furniture and kitchen and bathrooms She is extremely well organised and has a great vision alongside introducing us to looks we hadn’t considered but loved I would highly recommend her services and wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again She helped me gain confidence throughout the project and was always available to guide me in the right direction She made something which was daunting a fun experience

The project was to provide a colour scheme, paint, curtains and blinds for our farmhouse sitting room. Amy developed a plan with 'mood' board, and fabric samples which was very professional and helped us to visulize the finished look of the room. Amy made a number of visits and was always helpful (and patient) and clearly has extensive knowledge and flair for interior design. The quality of the curtains, blinds and fitting was excellent and delivered on time. We would have no hesitation in using Amy again.

I received a tailored and personal interior design service for a large renovation project that involved a lot of decisions that could have potentially become overwhelming! However, Amy offered regular consultations where I could make personal choices for the project but gave her advice and design ideas to help collectively make the right decisions that would perfectly complement our beautiful period home.
