We have accumulated considerable technical expertise in dealing with unusual-sized or shaped windows, such as arches, port-holes, and gable-end windows, as well as the more familiar bay, bow, dormer, tilt-and-turn and sash-and-case windows. We can not recommend the Scottish Shutter Company enough. Very professional from quotation to installation , helpful, friendly and the quality of their blinds are first class. We have to praise their communication during the COVID lockdown and their quick efforts to have our blinds installed once lockdown restrictions eased. Our new house has simply been transformed and we couldn’t be happier.

Absolutely delighted with the shutters fitted in the Annex. David was extremely knowledgeable and helpful which was required as this was a bespoke installation onto french doors. The quote provided was broken down explained with all the specification options . The fitters were clean and tidy and arrived on time , We would not hesitate to recommend Scottish Shutters who now have a local showroom in Edinburgh Ratcliffe Terrace EH9.. 10/10 for service and reliability.

This is the second time I have use this wonderful company, obviously I was delighted first time round hence going back when I moved home. The shutters were a great selling point. From start to finish it was handled professionally but with a personal touch. We were renovating our kitchen and David explained not to change the window ledge as it could affect the size, I did think we hadn’t but unfortunately we had slightly! The fitter was amazing and came up with a solution which meant we got our shutter fitted and it is perfect, no extra charge, even though they took longer than they probably thought. I cannot recommend this Company highly enough.

We had our entire house fitted with wooden shutters by this superb company. We did not do all the work at the same time but chose to spread it over several months. This was no problem to the company. Any dealings I had with the office staff went were smoothly and they could not have been more friendly and helpful. The installers arrived when they said they would, were very professional, did a superb job and left no mess whatsoever. All in all a great company to work with.

It is clear from my experience that The Scottish Shutter Company are an outstanding team dedicated to offering the best possible service and products. From start to finish I felt there was an emphasis on a personal yet professional service. I did not have to wait long for the appointment to measure up and at this visit the range was explained in a straightforward but comprehensive way so I understood all the options and felt able to choose the best one for us. Between measuring up and fitting I was kept in the loop as to progress, the fitters were speedy and did a good job: they left the house immaculate afterwards, gave me a demonstraton of how to get the best out of the shutters and took time to answer all my questions. The house looks amazing with the new shutters, totally transformed. At all times the whole team have been cheerful and a pleasure to work with - thank you all, i will always be happy to recommend you.

My shutters and blinds are beautiful. I really love them - they give me the amount of light and privacy I want, when I need it and add classic style and simplicity to the decor of my house. The initial visit was friendly but professional. All my queries and concerns were met with understanding and a solution found. I was supported but not pressurised into what I felt to be the correct decisions for my situation. The two gentlemen who arrived on "installation day" were equally friendly but professional. The meticulous attention to detail in ensuring that everything was checked and working to their satisfaction was very reassuring. From start to finish of the ordering and completion process I was kept fully informed about dates, times and prices which confirmed my impression of this company's competence and efficiency, while the tone of correspondence was friendly and informal. A lovely family company. Not a cheap option but worth every penny.
