We design, fabricate and installation. We create bespoke designs, custom window treatments, including all types of curtains, drapes, shades, top treatments more. We are also specialized in upholstery and furniture refurbishing, cushioning, bedcovers, coverlets, dust ruffles, shams, throw pillows and most soft furnishings related. We also offer interior decorating, staging and visually enhancing spaces. Serving Broward County, Miami-Dade County, Monroe County and International clients for 20 years. Meet the owner, Maria Johnson started M J Draperies and Interiors 20 years ago located in West Pembroke Pines, Florida. Maria loves combining both, her European and American backgrounds and her personal styles and she likes to call it is "modern with a touch of classic" or you can also call it transitional. María is a very professional woman who has passion for what she does. She did an amazing job on our dining room chairs giving them a modern and fresh look with the new upholstery. The fabric and color she advised were perfect, we love the results. We would definitely recommend her.

Maria did an excellent job for us with our small project: replacement of unusually shaped nook cushions. The professionalism with which she executed the whole project, from initial measurements, selection of fabric, to confection of cushions was simply great. I highly recommend her. I am keeping her business card handy for my next project as we are remodeling our house and will change draperies once windows have been replaced. Anyone living in the area around Pembroke Pines, Florida, should consider her services for draperies projects.

Professional and incredible!!!! Maria did a very good job with professional tools, ideas and attitude. Very considerate. Definitely a 5-star work. Finished the job quickly and perfectly and I’m so happy that I listen to her advises my house looks so beautiful all my friends are very impressed Highly recommend the M J Draperies and Interiors!!!!!!

MJ Draperies is a first class organization. Maria Transformed my bedroom from an ordinary room into an elegant venue. She is always on time pleasant and professional. It’s obvious she loves what she does. The installation was on time and smooth. I will definitely use them again.

Maria did an Awesome job on outdoor chair that I needed reupholstered for a birthday party . Her work was done quickly and very reasonable. I was very happy with the results. Would definitely recommend her. Great job , I love my new look . Jean

Thankful for MJ Draperies for such outstanding service. My drapes stayed absolutely beautiful with the help of Marias suggestions and guidance. She was quick, affordable, efficient, detailed and overall easy to do business with. It truly was a pleasure doing business with you, I look forward to working on other projects with you again soon.

MJ Draperies is exceptional! Maria was so patient with my over the top needs and is a very talented designer and technician- My newly upholstered patio chairs look like new and the custom touch she provided brilliant! Without the 5 star rates !

This review is long overdue! We absolutely love the bay window upholstered cushions and the upholstered dinning chairs crafted by Maria from M J Draperies and Interiors. Maria is amazing and very easy to work with. She listened to our ideas and needs. All of our feedback was thoughtfully considered and addressed. The entire process from start to finish was very interactive and any question we had was answered within minutes. We are planning to do more projects with her in the future and looking forward to work with her again.
