Wood Construction and Remodeling has not finished my addition and I signed a contract July 2020! Michael Johnson keeps making promises to fix the issues and finish the job but does not follow through with the promises. My roof is not even, nor the same color or even one to the same color, my insulation is falling off under my new addition, the ac vents barely blow any air in the new addition so when you walk into the room it is either hot ( we had to go buy a window unit to keep the room cool and our light bill has went from 110 dollars to over 200 a month! There are safety hazards such as they cut my hand rails down and never put them back up and I am missing part of a step. The inspector also said that they need to put a step outside the door on the porch but they never did that either. My siding and soffit was never finished. They never put gutters on the addition so the wood is getting wet and changing colors.

Do not use Wood Construction and Remodeling for any work! I signed a contract with them on April 29, 2021, for a kitchen and bath remodel. I have already paid them $6818.66. They had unlicensed people work here for a few hours June 15-17, including a guy who did the electrical work. One project was left partially done, the other projects were not started. No one has been to my house since June 17. We have no lights in the kitchen, garage or outside. The garage door has no power. My husband is handicapped and the situation is a big safety concern. He struggles to get into and out of the tub to take a shower. They were suppose to replace the tub with a walk in shower and replace two toilets with higher handicap accessible toilets. I have contacted someone at Wood Construction every week since June 17. They continue to make promises but nothing ever happens. They hired a new Program Manager, Michael Johnson, the first of August. I have been in contact with him several times, but he never did what he promised either and now he will not answer my texts or calls.

Just like some of these folks here we were quite upset are south until about 3 1/2 weeks ago when we were called out of the blue, and told that they were nearing a re-branding faze. My wife rolled her eyes and we went out about our business. One week later we get a call from a Mr. Johnson stating that he has taken over the construction part of it and was trying to fix and Right these wrongs that had been done I needed a chance and only wanted to be graded on his work and his team forward. Well Mr. Johnson you get five stars from us because you follow through with everything that you did with your team the Talbot guy that works alongside with you followed up to a T and the new project manager was communicative and got the work done. That was all we asked from the beginning and we’re so glad you have things rolling because we chose you all because of previous experience and I’m so glad they didn’t let it go bad. Good job guys

We signed our contract in May 4 2021 and paid 40% in May 5. Our contract number is 3991. We were promised that the project will finish before the end of July. But today is July 21 2021. Our project has not even started, no materials have been purchased. We call project manager every week, and have been given excuses every time, now there is no more excuse, just “don’t know”. We don’t know who is the person to really control our project and who are “They”. Before I signed this contract I told Keith Woodley that my husband cannot teach Summer class while doing renovation. So we must finish it by August 20, before Fall semester starts. Now 10 weeks have passed, nothing is happening and “they” even running out of excuses. Are we facing a scam? Why can’t they start and why no material has been purchased? How long we have to wait? We are truly regret to sign contract with Wood Construction, any company will finish our renovation by now. My daughter has signed an over $50k contract with other company two weeks ago. They are starting this Friday. If Wood Construction can’t start our project, please return our money back. We can always find other people to do it. It’s wrong to hold our money and do nothing. Mr. Wood please give us an answer.

Wood Construction and Remodeling did an excellent job on installing a large deck for us! They are very professional and great to work with! Trent and Cameron always made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and continuously checked to make sure it was to our liking. I would highly recommend this company for any new construction or remodeling needs!

I love the work they’ve done; I had my deck redone after many years of children and the elements had pummeled it into a scuffed grey mess. Now it is a beautiful tan wood sanded to ensure no splinters for my little ones. Everyone was very professional and so, so friendly. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!
