Horrible company! Paid in full up front. Took weeks to finally get them to come begin work. They did a crappy job and refuse to come fix their work. I’m a new widow and they knew that. Unprofessional, I would not recount his company to my worst enemy.

We have done many beautiful upgrades to our home, of every description and all done by highly skilled trades. When we decided to do the last remaining upgrade, the 2 fire places, friends suggested Angus and Usery Pass. Angus was very professional and cared about doing it perfectly! His workers - demolition, Electrical, the fireplace inserts, wallboard and the stone placement is outstanding. My wife and I highly recommend him.

We have just completed two home renovation projects with Usery Pass, and are totally satisfied with both. One was a very complicated installation of an electric fireplace, brick facade and TV niche, which involved some very complex and challenging details. The other was the design and fabrication of bookshelves in an office. In both cases, the workmanship and attention to details were first-rate, the communication and responsiveness were excellent, and they were very considerate of our needs. We also enjoyed hosting and interacting with them, and respect their honesty and integrity. We recommend them enthusiastically and without reservation.

Angus Scott - Usery Pass Builders, just recently installed 3 rooms of porcelain tile - that looks just like wood - in our dining room, 2 bedrooms, and both bedroom closets. The floors turned out beautiful. The workmanship was excellent and the rooms were all cleaned and perfect when we returned home to review. We have also used Angus for a fireplace wall a few months ago. We highly recommend his services - he is honest, does great work - has super "subs" - especially "Cal" the tile guy - he is a wizard. Our next project will be granite countertops and backsplash in our kitchen - we will definitely hire Angus for that project also.

Angus and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Any project has little things that don’t go according to plan, whether because of existing structure or the little “unknowns” that inevitably occur because we don’t open up our walls everyday. When we ran into snags, Angus was always quick to communicate and provide various solutions. He answered all of my questions, and believe me, I had a lot of questions. He even completed the project on time, unlike the previous contractors I have worked with. He is honest and easy to work with. They keep a clean work site as well. We will be doing a master bath remodel soon, and I am thankful that I already have the hardest part done, choosing the contractor!

Usery Pass - Angus Scott - did a fireplace remodel for us a month ago. They had to demo the old fireplace and replace with a new electric one, put in a new electric line and install beautiful stone around the project. It turned out great. They always showed up on time - the crew was fantastic - great work, professional and they cleaned up at the end of the day. I would definitely hire them again - in fact we are using Usery Pass for our next project - new floors in 3 rooms of our home.

We had a junky Heatilator see-thru fireplace that was making terrible noises. We contacted the company, multiple contractors, engineers, and others who could not fix the problem. The fireplace needed to be changed to a stone fireplace, but we already had a custom Canterra surround, which made the job difficult. Angus came to the house, provided us with a quote within a few days, and had the entire job finished in about 3-4 days. The workmen were polite, neat, and very responsive. If you have a difficult fireplace problem in your house, DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER HIRING ANYONE ELSE. Call Angus - you will not be disappointed.

We hired User Pass from a referral for our electric fireplace installation & it was the best company we could have found!! The installation was done in an excellent and very professional manner . Angus offered some additional suggestions which made the finished product look even better. They kept to their schedule and the work was done in a timely manner. We contacted Usery Pass Builders to do something with our 30 year old fireplace. It was so ugly and we desperately wanted a change. Angus told me to look at photos of some of their work and if I found something I liked to let him know. I did find several photos of lovely fireplaces, chose one and left the rest to Usery Pass. Oh my goodness, our family room has completely changed. What a difference!!! We have had many friends and family members comment on how good it looks and how it has enhanced and upgraded our home. Angus and his crew did a great job of minimizing dust and dirt - you can imagine what a mess destroying an old fireplace could make! We are very happy with the job they did and the price was reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great job at great prices!

They helped with our questions for the city permits. The Res Gas guy was prompt and he too helped with the permits. The end product is very stylish and adds a touch of class. A small contracting company. The project involved the complete remodeling of both the living room and kitchen areas in a great room. They were very much engaged in the project from the planning stage to completion and post completion. Work was done timely and within budget. They take great pride in their work and the finished product. I very highly recommend Them wand will be using them again when I remodel the bathrooms.

I was reassured from start to finish by all involved. I never once felt that it wouldn't be what I wanted. At times I knew that I was being difficult with the changes I made but again I was always made to feel comfortable about it and encouraged to give my input so it would be just what I wanted. At the end of this project I felt I had made new friends and to top that I had the fireplace of my dreams. Love these guys.

Angus and his team did an amazing job! Even better than I had envisioned. We had just closed on our new home and used them to design and build a Gas Fireplace for us. It has become the focal point of our home. They were very accommodating to our desires and shared their experience which helped us visualize what we were going for.
