Urban Project Management & Construction

I have issued a formal complaint with the State of Florida DBPR, which has been accepted and forwarded to the states legal department Case# 2023025621 I also have a lawyer preparing a lawsuit case against this company. We went under contract in Sept of 2022 with a 12 week estimate to complete. As of July 2023 we had only completed 50% of the work. I terminated the contract hired another contractor and he completed the remaining work in 6 weeks. I made a $56,000 payment toward finishing and none of the work was completed and Urban project Management refused to return my payment. This company lied, misrepresented their capabilities, resources and mis managed the funds that i entrusted them with. They are poorly managed and do not have the financial resources to operate effectively. Because of this they consistently delayed my project and used my payments to fund starting other new project and for personal use. Complete frauds and i hope the State puts them out of business. They do not even have a real office. They operate out of a co-sharing office thats is less than 200sq ft. if they cannot manage and afford a legitimate office space for their own company, why intrust them with your hard earned money. Go visit their office to see for yourself before signing a contract. UPM is run by one guy Jered Nelson. with a constantly turnover of people with fake titles who do not know what they are doing. There is no 'Project Management' just Jered Nelson sending contractors to your project with no management or oversight. The work that was completed had so many errors and things we had to redo its pathetic. Stay away and do not trust them with your hard earned money. They will start out friendly, then lie, delay and mis-use your funds with all kinds of excuses. Many people do not speak up and will not fight back. Florida is cracking dpwn on these companies and UPM will be next. I will be updating this review as the states legal process and my lawsuit progresses.

We did a total renovation to our condo. Beautiful design and great quality of workmanship. Pleasant and professional staff (including the subcontractors). They stand behind there work and do it right.

We hired Urban Project Management to take on a whole house project. The kitchen, master bath, flooring, redesign to a fireplace and some custom floating shelves. Jered was available and very quick to respond whenever we reached out to him. They were professional and took extra steps to please us through the entire process. We plan to use them again in the future.

The project was a complete renovation of our condominium. Design and replacement for the entire unit. Really enjoyed the collaboration during the design process. Selection process was straight forward and easy. All new plumbing, flooring, tile work. Some drywall, electrical, rerouting HVAC. We are very pleased with the finished project. Excellent quality of workmanship. All the workers were professional, courteous and pleasant.

This company does high quality work and its principal, Jered, is very caring and true to his word. I like how Jered ensures a high level of communication. They are very considerate and I really appreciate their work and care.

They renovated our kitchen, and transformed it from tremendously outdated into a beautiful Midcentury Modern galley kitchen. We used white shaker upper cabinets and really dark base cabinets with a classic white quartz counter top. Its very simple and beautiful. The project was well within budget and the delivery was on time, despite the several changes WE introduced! I absolutely recommend them!
