Turnkey Renovation

Kitchen remodel that was supposed to take 6 weeks took 6 months. Project management was a joke. Constantly making excuses and blaming others for lack of progress/lack of attention to detail. First - They gutted my kitchen in April, then proceeded to leave my house torn up for weeks with no work being done. Second - Tom told me they would handle everything and we'd never have to deal directly with any of the trades, which was just flat out not true. I had guys in my kitchen asking me stuff I had no idea the answer to, because I'm not a contractor, and Tom was nowhere to be found. Another example was when appliances were coming in, Tom says, we'll coordinate that too, then proceeds to not show up on the day of appliance install and we're finding out the dishwasher doesn't even fit in its opening. Third - attention to detail stinks. See above re: the dishwasher. Another example - I'd purchased a sink that I told them about from day one. Countertop day rolls around and Tom's like, what's this sink for? Like... I told you about this sink and it's been sitting here for weeks. So they then had to take the countertops off and go back and cut the right size sink opening. They also installed the vent pipe for the range hood not centered, and when I mentioned it to Tom, he completely blew me off and said it's fine we'll just use flex pipe - well, that's not what code allows and it was a whole circus having to get the hvac guy to come back out to fix it. Toe kicks under the cabinets were missing, trim was missing...and I had to pester and pester and pester to get anything done. If I hadn't been pushy about it, they probably would've just left it a mess. I wound up having to threaten to fire these guys in order to get the work completed, as they left me hanging near the end of the project where I hadn't heard from them in a solid two weeks. Last - PJ says, oh, a professional cleaning crew will come out after your project is done. Not holding my breath for that one, but it would've been a nice touch after the headache these guys put us through. Overall - the work appears to be solid, and everything finally passed inspection, but I would not recommend anyone to hire this company, and I certainly would never use them again.

Tom and PJ where fantastic to work with. Tom has been apart of many projects for my home and each one was done way beyond our expectations. Great team and great service!

My kitchen was ROUGH and I've always wanted to redo it, so I decided on using Turnkey. I am SO happy with my decision! It felt like a brand new kitchen, it looked incredible!! They used this software called CoConstruct and it made communication so easy throughout the entire project! Anything I had a question or comment about, it was addressed and communicated well. Definitely recommend using Turnkey for your future renovations.

Great service, great people and great work! I had doors and trims replaced in my home. The whole staff was friendly and worked efficiently. Can't wait to use them on the next project!!

Unfortunately this contractor has become my worst nightmare. After interviewing 5 companies, I chose turnKey because the checked all the boxes. I received copies of their insurance, verified them on the BBB. Looked at reviews and also they came in mid priced for a small kitchen remodel. We kept the same footprint. When we met, I already new my colors, had my backsplash and ordered all my appliances. 1st issue was they decided not to go with the cabinet company I had my samples from and the color from the new company was darker. Mind you I do like the color. We had to push to get things done. Close to the end of the project my husband ended up in the hospital, so they were only allowed to finish up 2 days a week, while I was working from home. Finally on October 9, I gave them the final check, even though they tried to get it before hand. Now it is just 6 months later and I have doors that look like they are bowing, shiplap that is bowing and separating from the wall, crown molding separating from the cabinets, doors that close on an angle, electrical outletthat doesn't work, LVP flooring that is splitting. These are a few of the items. Yes, I have contacted them, twice they sent somebody out and both said don't worry we will get it fixed. Well it is just about 2 weeks from the second visit and radio silence again. It took me 30 years to be able to have this kitchen. My heart is broken. I would never recommend this company.

Turnkey Renovations exceeded my already high expectations for my remodeling project. Since we bought our home 8 years ago, I only dreamed of finishing the basement. We finally made that dream a reality in 2020. Turnkey Renovations was the most affordable company compared to several other estimates and the process from demo to finishing touches was flawless. Communication was top notch and every vision I had became a reality. From the built in tv cabinet with ship lap to beautiful spindles on the staircase and a bar better than the licensed ones in the neighborhood, I will eternally be grateful to Turnkey Renovation for making my dream a reality.
