In May of 2010, The Dan Company opened its doors in Nashville, TN. From day one, our vision and mission has been centered on one principle: building with integrity. As a general contractor, we know that remodeling is a complex undertaking. Our goal is to go above and beyond for our clients at every stage of their projects from start to finish. With years of experience and a network of professionals both in the office and out in the field, we are prepared to deliver the highest quality possible, not just in construction, but in your experience with us. My husband and I purchased our first house in East Nashville over nine years ago. We had no idea who to call when we wanted (and needed) to begin various improvement projects. Dan came highly recommended from a friend of a friend and he delivered. From that earliest project, The Dan Company has continued to improve its successful business model. Dan himself is fun to work with. He is communicative, professional and knowledgeable, and has excellent problem-solving skills that are essential when renovating older homes. Dan and his employees are honest about project challenges, and will never turn a blind eye to problems they encounter while working on a project. They look for opportunities to make a home better and safer. Consequently their work is top notch. If problems arise (as they will), Dan will step in and handle them personally if the situation so requires. Afterward, The Dan Company always follows up to ensure that the project met expectations, and that any touch ups or post project fixes are addressed. I highly recommend them.

The Dan Company was engaged by us to coordinate several projects and they did a very professional job and all projects were completed on schedules they committed to. I would recommend them if you have home projects.

A colleague referred me to The Dan Company for repair of the patio / roof on the third flow of my house in Nashville, after I noticed water intrusion on the ceiling of the room below. The Dan Company did a great job diagnosing and fixing the issue, and their team communicated clearly with me every step of the way -- from the first visit to provide an estimate until following up with me to ensure I was happy with the outcome. I really appreciated having an assigned project manager (Rusty) as a primary point of contact, and the office team (Perry and Ashley) were terrific, too. I was pleased with the quality of the work, and it was clear that The Dan Company employees and their sub-contractors all take pride in their work. I would absolutely call The Dan Company again in the future.

Had a great experience with The Dan Company. We needed a wood ground level deck replaced with stamped concrete. Our project manager helped us select the right pattern and color. He was very responsive to our calls and the project was completed with no unexpected delays. Best of all the deck looks great.

After struggling to find anyone to repair a small bathroom floor, I called the Dan Company hoping they would take it on. Dan and his employees were exceedingly prompt and communicative, and completely honest with their appraisal and timeline. The work was done exactly as promised and by the deadline I had imposed. I will use them again, and highly recommend their services.

I contracted the Dan Company team to repair a leaky upstairs shower that had damaged the drywall downstairs. I had used them at my previous home and was impressed with that work. For this most recent project, I also had a great experience... at all levels, from quoting, scheduling, repair work and follow up. The job itself was excellent, but I was most impressed with the constant communication from everyone involved. I never had to check on status of anything at any step of the way. And the project was completed on time and below originally quoted price. I'll definitely look to them for any future projects. A+++

It was time to refresh the design of our home and to get more functionality from the space we have. We had an upstairs loft family room that we never used, and we needed an extra room so that I could have a separate office space that could be used as a den in the evenings. The refresh involved painting in almost every single room of our home. Our interior designer recommended that we hire The Dan Company to do both the painting and closing off of our family room to turn it into a Den/Office. The Dan Company did a phenomenal job. The new room has sound-proof walls, transom windows with stylish trim, and French double doors. The painting throughout our home has transformed our living space. When it came time for the punch list, they were attentive and thorough and didn't complain but rather wanted to get through it to our satisfaction. These guys are kind, hard-working, and professional. If you want work done on your home and you want it done well, hire The Dan Company.
