We contracted with NorthGate to do a living room, bathroom and kitchen renovation. Tellen, Mike and the crew were great to deal with throughout the project. Tellen was very thorough in the quoting process which meant no major surprises as things progressed. The team did their best to leave the site tidy at the end of each day as we have 2 young kids still needing to access the space at night. The renovations were done by Fall 2023 and now it is March 2024; everything has held up well and we can tell a qaulity job was done. We would highly recommend NorthGate and will likely engage them again on a future project.

Mike and Tellon were top notch, professional, and an easy to work with construction company that achieved high quality results. We had a major reno (kitchen, living room, dining room, fireplace) completed on time, found and fixed hidden issues as well. We just recently had a small fence project completed by Northgate. As with all of their other projects with us, they delivered on time, on budget and even better quality and craftsmanship than we were expecting. They did the design and gave us fantastic recommendations that we hadn’t even considered. We are super pleased and are looking forward already to our next project with them.

We worked with Northgate to do a complete renovation of 2 floors of our home. This included a complete kitchen remodel, 3 bathrooms, new flooring, stairs, insulation updates and structural work to remove one wall on our main floor, among other things. Tellen and Mike were great to work with from start to finish. They were great communicators and always kept us in the loop regarding progress and any issues that arose throughout the project. They finished on time, on budget (luckily our home presented very few hidden surprises) and the quality of the work was top notch. Highly recommend.

Mike and Tellen did a bathroom reno for us and were top notch all the way through from first contact to beyond the project completion. (A couple weeks after the bathroom was done, they were willing to pop by just to install the blinds and a shelf that weren't even part of the contract! They just go above and beyond.) These two were some of the best workers we've ever had in our home - friendly, flexible, easy going, responsive and professional. The job was timed and paced carefully, and the various components of the job performed with competence. We are confident in the workmanship and are really happy with the end results. We very highly recommend these guys.

We hired Tellen and Mike to do a complete makeover for our newly purchased condo, starting with the demolition of the kitchen and both bathrooms. Removing a few walls and replacing the flooring came next. Very professional, courteous, kept me informed daily on what what was being done that day and what was scheduled for the future days. Very helpful in helping me make decisions about the renovation from there past experiences and also share pictures of other reno's that where similar so I could see finished product. The interior designer they recommended was very professional and helpful finished product looks great. Cleaned up daily so that I could still live in the house with as little interruption as possible. Any flaws or discrepancies that I was not happy with, paint, flooring, cupboards, etc. where taken care of immediately until I was 100 % satisfied. We met with 4 different contractors and felt Northgate had the most knowledge, was the most professional and had confidence in our vision for our home. Tellen and Mike were very patient with all of our questions (and me changing my mind on everything haha) and made the experience as easy as it could be for us. We had a built-in front hall closet put it, quartz counters in kitchen and washroom, flooring throughout our main hall, ceilings skimmed with added potlights and trim throughout. NorthGate Constructions was recommended to me by a friend and I am very pleased with their work in my basement. Remodeled the powder room, changed flooring for bathroom and family room, fixed a problem with the fireplace, installed oak staircase and painted the rooms. All done within the time frame proposed, very cleanly done and looking great. I will not hesitate to use them for any other project that I will need in the future.

We hired Northgate Construction in Jan 2019 to finish our basement and could not be happier with their work. Their attention to detail and customer service was exceptional. When we ran into issues(as you do with any construction job), they always offered a couple options as a resolution. I found them on many occasions really thinking through how to best frame the basement to get the most space, or how they would work around a small window in a less than ideal space. I feel like a lot of thought is put into their work! It was never a bother for them to change the floor coverings or to bring samples over for me to pick trim. We had been recommended NG by friends who had used them for several jobs. We have other jobs that we will be calling them for as well. Each of the trades they used were very competent and friendly. We love our ensuite bathroom. Trustworthy, friendly and professional. Definitely would recommend and will be calling them again.

We hired Northgate to work with us to complete a kitchen makeover which also included a family room, powder room, hall and entrance. From the very first visit to our home for a quote ( which came to us promptly and detailed--never once did we have any financial "surprises" to mess with our budget ) through to the very last day; these gentlemen and their trades demonstrated amazing skills, highly professional work and extreme attention to detail. Mike and Tellen know that it can be highly stressful for a family to live through a major renovation and function in a construction zone, they extended patience and grace throughout the process. Tellen and Mike were great to work with. We did a full upstairs reno, 2 bathrooms, hall, 3 bedrooms, 1 walk in closet, flooring, painting, trims, light fixtures. 8-12 week estimate time frame, finished in 9 weeks. All the contractors on the job were great. Kept the work place tidy and clean. Came back after we moved our furniture back in to touch up any paint we may have scratched and address any concerns. Tellen, Mike and their sub contractors did a great job on our ensuite bathroom. It was completed in the time and budget promised. They kept the area neat and tidy through out the project and took the time to make sure we were happy each step of the way. We plan to use Northgate in the future to reno our kitchen.

Northgate Construction has two partners/owners, Mike and Tellen. They recently did all the construction work for our new kitchen install. They have the highest level of skilled workmanship we have ever seen. They tell you the day before what time they will be there, and they are there at that time! They give you a very detailed and itemized quote. As with any project sometimes things come up that are surprises to both the homeowner and contractor. They worked with us to try and find a cost effective solution to our problem. They are very, very good at their jobs. They know how to do many many things and are excellent at all of them. They have professional associates as well available if need be. Here is an example of their quality of workmanship. The ceiling had new pot lights added and they mudded and sanded the ceiling. Before painting they didn't like the finish, and redid the areas they were concerned about, creating a flawless ceiling in the process! We never even noticed (and we are very fussy clients!), but they did!! That is the difference, highest level of quality is important to them as well. Professional, Professional and very, very Skilled! Do not hesitate to hire this awesome team!! I doubt you will find better!!
