From discussion of project scope, to the final application of paint - the team at Mr Build were a pleasure to work with. Knowledgable, patient and above all professional I can't recommend them enough.

We did a complete upstairs remodel with Mr. Build and Michelle was our project manager. Her attention to detail, impeccable taste, and professionalism is really phenomenal. On top of that, she's such a great problem solver. When I wasn't happy with our options for the layout of our bathroom she asked me a few questions, worked with our architect and came up with a design that I loved. Whenever we couldn't agree on on something, Michelle was always able to offer really good advice while keeping in mind what our needs and wants were. My experience with working with Michelle is like working with my best friend who just gets me, but is so professional she never made me feel uncomfortable or uneasy asking for anything! Joaquin was our foreman/construction manager and he is so thorough and thoughtful about his work. I always felt really confident that if Joaquin was doing something it'll be perfect and it always was. Just about everyone who Mr. Build brought on to work on our house was great. I don't think any construction project can be perfect but Mr. Build is as good as you can get it...We look forward to working on more projects with them.

Best project we have done in our 40+ years as a homeowner. Michelle was our project manager and handled everything with care and professionalism. Joaquim was our construction manager and was very thorough with great attention to detail. Together they completed the project in less time than we were given and did a beautiful job. They went above and beyond with small issues corrected without change orders, costs and without being brought to their attention. We highly recommend Mr. Build.

I am very happy with the how fast the project got completely. The project got started as soon as my husband and I got the keys for our new home. Sometimes when I visit the property on Sat, I see them working on a Sat. I am happy with the quality too. If you find some parts that was not done well, you can talk to the manager, he is very responsive and would fix for you right away!

This is the second time we have hired Mr. Build and worked with Ami. They redid two master bathroom and both turned out great. Just like in the first renovation, their work is top quality. It's the peace of mind they give us which is why I will keep hiring them for our needs. They show up when they say they will. They keep us informed. They come back to finish the little things until we are completely satisfied. hey work through unforeseen issues and help problem solve - on that topic, we purchased a tub for one of the bathrooms and it required pipes positioned in a manner that couldn't work with the joists. Ami proposed a number of ideas with us to make sure we could come up with a great alternative solution. He even came with us to the store we bought the tub to explain the issues to see if we could return it. I consider this above and beyond what I would normally expect.

I used Mr Build 5 years ago and was very happy so I commissioned them again for another remodel on my home. I am very happy with their workmanship, timeliness, and communication on the project. We met with Ami from Mr. Build regarding our whole house remodel. Ami was wonderful! We felt confident and comfortable that our house would be completed properly and with care. We were going to be living in the house throughout the remodel and I would be home during the whole process. We were referred to Mr Build Construction by our interior designer for a master bathroom/walk-in closet remodel. We completed a whole house remodel 3 years prior. We ended up being unhappy with the master bathroom due to a combination of the poor workmanship of our previous contractors and the layout our architect produced. We met with Ami from Mr Build Construction and immediately became a fan of his professionalism and personality. He was very thorough during our initial walk through and got back to us with a quote within a speedy time frame. The costs were comparable to other contractors in the area so we decided to go with Mr Build based on Ami. We were very happy with Mr Build and Ami's work throughout the whole process. They left the master bedroom clean after each workday.....even having a "clean-up" sign in sheet each day to ensure the workspace was left clean. At one point our interior designer wasn't happy with the spacing of the tiles being laid so Ami had his guys remove everything and start over at no additional cost. He is a perfectionist and just wanted us to have a exceptional product at the end....and we are very happy with that end product. I would for 100% use Mr Build and Ami again for a future project. We give Mr. Build and Ami the highest mark possible and can’t praise him (and thank him) enough for work he and his team did on our massive remodel. After meeting with Ami for the first time, we knew he was the right person to take care of our new home, and it turns out that this was the most important decision we made with the remodel. If you are shopping for a contractor, just meet with Ami and you will see what kind of person he is and the values he upholds. Scope of work: We basically remodeled the entire house: kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace, flooring, moved/removed walls, windows, installed California doors, moved the laundry room upstairs, and built a new powder room. Here are some key behaviors that we appreciated •He put our family’s need first. We did this remodel while living in the house!!! He assure that we were as comfortable as reasonably possible during the remodel. One night, I caused a leak in the plumbing b/c of clogged pipe. We called him late at night for help. He put us in a hotel and he immediately address the issue in the morning. •He made sure that we were satisfy with the quality of work and it’s what we wanted. But more importantly, he made sure that HE himself was satisfied. His standard was much higher than ours. •He was very collaborative through the process and very responsive in communication. He made practical recommendations, saving us lots of money. •Good contractors also have a network of good subcontractors: sliding door team and the glass team to name a few. Very pleasant people to work with. Good price. Good quality. People I would definitely use again. He treats his worker very well. They have team BBQ at least twice a year. He and his team do volunteer work on a regular basis. He helps us donate our fridge and furniture. •He took care of business dealing with the city and HOA. The city particularly gave us a hard time, but he muscled through the painful process. We wanted to build our forever home and this was achieved in a very pleasant process with Ami and his team. At the end of all this, we consider Ami as a friend of the family.

We recently bought a new house that was a complete fixer upper, so we met with 5 contractors to bid on the extensive work that we needed done. My wife was 2months into her pregnancy, and so we were under an especially tight timeline. After receiving proposals, Mr Build was by far the lowest which gave us real pause as we were concerned there were corners being cut. We circulated all the proposals through a number of family and friends with experience renovating houses. After collecting all our feedback, we were surprised (and excited) to hear that Mr Build was unanimously recommended as the most thorough proposal. Upon engagement, Jacob and his team got right to work. We had heard that contractors start strong and gradually peel off as they get later into a job. This was not the case at all - the same crew that started on the job were working on our house everyday. We had the luxury of living only two blocks away during the renovation so we were at the house every weekend (sometimes during the week) and progress was always being made. Because we were under such a tight timeline it was hard to make any big changes during construction, but new ideas always came up and Jacob and his team were always quick to execute with no extra charges. Jacob padded these kind of things into his budget so despite some additions our final price never changed. We always heard stories of contractors providing final bills much higher than their original proposal. Mr Build came in exactly on budget, and perhaps most importantly on time for us to move in with our new little baby. I recently completed two bathroom remodels using Mr. Build Construction and I am very pleased with the finished product. My bathrooms came out fantastic! Asaf was very easy to work with and was very accommodating. The crew was punctual and nice. What could of been a stressful remodel turned out to be a very pleasant experience. I interviewed many contractors for our total kitchen remodel; in the end I chose Mr. Build. In large part this decision was due to Ami and his ability to help me feel at ease with this process. After interviewing several contractors to remodel our two upstairs bathrooms and not being very happy with them, I came across Mr. Build. Within moments of meeting Ami Gilad My wife and I felt very comfortable with him. He understood exactly what we wanted and had some excellent ideas on how to accomplish them. His bid, while not the lowest we received, was very competitive. He estimated that the project would take three weeks and despite some delays caused by the building inspector not showing up when scheduled, managed to finish in less than four weeks. His workers were very professional and unlike some other contractors we have had in the past, were there every day. They took great care to lay runners every day to protect our flooring and to remove them at the end of the day. They even put a port-a-potty in the yard for the workers. Ami went with us to the plumbing supply house and was very helpful in picking out bathroom fixtures. He also went with us to pick out tile for the showers and floors. He was very generous with his time, never rushing us and making helpful suggestions. The final product exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with our new bathrooms. Even the building inspector, during his final inspection, said it was an outstanding job and that he would recommend Mr. Build to anyone. He was amazed that they finished as fast as they did. When we bought our house we had an idea of what we wanted the remodel to look and after several interviews with other Contractors Ami from Mr. Build showed up. We asked him the question "what do you see and what would you do", before even telling what we wanted. He nailed it! His suggestions and what envisioned were right inline and from that moment on we knew we had a contractor to do our work. We own a house in Orange County, California, and this is the second time we've had Mr. Build Construction manage a complete renovation. After 150% satisfaction with our first remodel with them, we knew we would turn to them for all subsequent house projects. This second project was huge. Mr Build completed a remodel of our kitchen, including the removal of a wall to make our family room and kitchen one large, lovely space, and also reconfiguring our downstairs powder room to add space to the kitchen. Ami came to review the plans created by our interior decorator and gave us a competitive bid, explaining that his quote was solid. If there were any unforeseen issues (as there always are when you open up walls or floors), there would not be additional charges. We did have several adjustments to make, and Ami was true to his word. There were no additional charges. Ami brought our kitchen in on time. He has various crews - electricians, plumbers, cabinet installers, dry wallers - so that when one portion was finished, the next phase started immediately. All his crews were polite and friendly, and would made adjustments if we found minor problems. Ami worked extremely well with our interior decorator, which was another plus. If we take on another project in our house, we will hire Ami again. If any friends call and ask for a referral to a contractor, we will give them Mr Build's information.

Mr. Build was a great company to work with when remodeling our kitchen. They always showed up, were on time, and worked late. Everyone really seemed to enjoy their job, and prided themselves in doing their best work. Everyone was also so calm! There are bound to be issues during a remodel, but every person that worked on our kitchen remained calm and unfrazzled by mishaps. It was great experience, and we plan on using them again!

We are enjoying our beautiful bathroom recently remodeled by Mr. Build. The work was completed at a fair price, in a timely and neat manner. Mr. Build Construction and Amiti as the project lead were hired for our second story addition project and did a fantastic job! From the very beginning his honest personality and his will to work with us and guide us thru the process with unlimited patience stood out among all bidders. After thoroughly checking Amiti’s references we started the project. We were very nervous after hearing so many horrible experience stories on construction contractors and after the fact we can confidently say that it couldn’t be any better! – don’t get me wrong, it was very stressful time as our budget was very limited and most of the time construction has unexpected expenses driven mostly by personal preference finishes. Amiti went far and beyond our expectations and always provided us with alternatives that fit our needs. We are very happy with the quality and satisfied with the results – we recommend anyone that considering construction to consult with Amiti. Hired for kitchen remodel which was complex in that it involved removing walls and moving doors. All of the workers involved in the project were skilled in their craft and very accommodating and respectful of our belongings and ideas. I would hire them again for any future work. We love our new kitchen !

Ami was our general contractor to add a new bathroom to our house. We were so pleased with him that we did more small projects/construction with him. He is truly a gentleman and keeps calm even during inevitable times of frustration form either side during such projects. I believe the project could have gone smoother towards the end (although I cannot entirely blame Ami for that shortcoming). I would recommend him as a professional general contractor.

Jacob is fantastic. His crew is clean and polite. We hired them to remodel our kitchen and breakfast nook area. Although we had some delays and added additional renovations, we are very happy with the kitchen. Jacob and his team were great. They were punctual, very positive and very helpful. It was not what I expected from a contractor and would highly recommend Mr. Build to anyone looking to do work no matter how big the scope of the project. They stayed completely on budget with no surprises. A really great overall experience.

Mr. Build built us a house from the ground up, no redo or addition a completely new house on a vacant lot. It is the house of our dreams and we would highly, highly recommend them them to everyone. Their crews are hard working and professional. Our neighbors even commented how hard working they were and never seemed to just stand around. The framing and foundation crew were fantastic. Our project manager, Ami, was the best and our house would not have been built without him. He is the calmest person I have ever met and nothing phases him, he just gets the job done and never, never offends anyone. The inside crew who did the sheet rock and floors and the electrical genius who wired the entire house were so talented. The cabinet maker was an artist from heaven, my kitchen is to die for and the entertainment center he build for us is a work of art. He also built floating bookcases and a desk and cabinet for my husband in his study-he is a true artist! Our master bath is a joy and we have the huge shower my husband always wanted with the most fantastic glass doors-looks like waves in the ocean. I've had a fair amount of work done on my homes and experienced many levels of service. The experience I had with Mr. Build and particularly Ami Gilad as my project manager was a smooth and confident experience. The redid 3 bathroom and my fireplace as well as installed a new tankless water heater. I could always count on not only everyone showing up when they were suppose to but giving me a heads-up on any changes in schedule. They were open to changes in my needs and weren't shy about letting me know the pitfalls of what I was asking and how it impacted the whole job. The men who came were professional, friendly and worked extremely hard to satisfy my needs. I can hardily recommend them for any size job.

Ami was our general contractor for a complete reno in Fullerton in 2012. We had him do some work for us again in 2014. He was personable, knowledgeable, honest and fair. His crews were quick and clean and did a great job on every thing from demo to rebuilding, plumbing, electrical, flooring, tiling, and painting. He had qualified trades for every part of the reno, inside and out. When a couple small things went wrong, Ami was there immediately to get things back on track, even going above and beyond to help us out with issues outside the scope of the job. He listedned to us when we questioned their plan and added what we wanted without any fuss. Long after the job was complete, we contacted him for a recommendation for a fix-it guy to repair a screen door and grout issues. He had his guys come out and do the work - no charge - for us. I worked with Mr. Build 2 times in the past 5 years, both are wonderful experience, my houses looks stunning and sold at a good price, I feel comfortable working with Jacob, he is a good listener and did fantastic job.

Mr. Build was recommended to me by a friend who was using their services at the time for a big job. They did a beautiful job on her home so I was convinced. We used Jacob's team/Mr. Build to remodel our bathroom. Jacob was quite busy when he oversaw our bathroom remodel and while I think that his A team is capable of doing fantastic work, unfortunately, I think we got his B or C team so our result and our experience in working with him was not great. His team completely remodeled our bathroom just before we moved in to our house. I had received several estimates, and Mr. Build was, by far, the least expensive. We replaced all of our fixtures, took the walls down to studs, installed new dry-wall, tile floor, tile walls, lighting, exhaust fan, vanities, medicine cabinets, and hardware. The team showed up as promised at first, and then they were a bit more sporadic in showing up as they must have been pulled to another job. In the end, they did finish the bathroom the day before we moved in, as promised, although they left a HUGE pile of rubbish outside so that I had to call 1.800.GOT.JUNK the day before we moved in (a Sunday) to remove the garbage before we moved in. We also had to have Mr. Build's team return to fix a number of details, such as caulking around the bathtub, before we could use our bathroom. The biggest problem with working with Mr. Build, in our experience, was communication. Jacob was swamped and sometimes returned my call on the first try. Often, it took several calls or texts to get a reply. There were times that we had scheduled a meeting or a call where he didn't show up at all, or showed up 2 hours late and was visibly annoyed to have to meet with me at all. He did answer my questions, albeit with a condescending tone. Also, there seemed to be a disconnect in communicating with his team, which resulted in extra work and time as well as an ongoing problem. For example, Jacob forgot to tell his team that the shower head had to be installed 18 inches higher than the previous one. His team prepped the wall for the tile with a concrete underlay and left room for the shower-head at the lower location. By the time I saw it and called Jacob, he then had the team had to go through the opposite side of the wall (in the hallway) to move the plumbing/correct the problem. This created additional work and a big mess. When they were rushing to finish, the hallway "fix" did not get addressed properly and there is now a big line of spackle/filler where they didn't finish the work in the hallway. A similar issue happened with the location of outlets and the location of the recessed vanities so that work had to be redone and patched over to fix errors. If Jacob had communicated with his team in a timely manner these things would have been avoided. In the end, the job Mr. Build did is fine, but lacking in attention to detail. Mr. Build did have the best price, and they did stick to it - didn't add on extra fees. They also deducted the amount I had to pay to 1.800.GOT.JUNK from my final payment. My sense is that if you have a BIG job, Mr. Build will provide the time and attention to detail needed, as evidenced by my friend's house. However, if your job is smaller, Mr. Build will do the work but with a lower-grade team of sub contractors so the attention to detail and oversight won't be the same as if you were spending a lot more money.

We had our kitchen remodeled and are happy with the results. Initially there were a few hitches but once the company was aware of it they took charge and completed the project to our satisfaction

Having worked with many contractors, I found Mr Build to be exceptional in their ability to communicate in detail about the costs, materials and time frame of the job. The management of the project was very professional with attention to staying on a timeline, workers being prompt and issues being handled immediately to my satisfaction. Mr Build's employees are very respectful, clean and accountable. I cannot say enough great things about the company.
