Brian and his team did an excellent job on our basement finishing. He came up with some good ideas for the layout drawings and special features. We are using the basement now for family and friends who visit and now also for Airbnb guests and the reviews have been over the top on the basement! The project was also completed on time and on budget.

From the start of our project to finish our basement, we knew that Bryan and his team were right for us. We had three bids, however only Bryan and his team worked with us in designing the space that worked for us. Bryan and Ben (his project manager) were attentive throughout the project and the level of craftsmanship and professionalism by the entire team were at the highest standards. Throughout the project Bryan would come by the work site to see the progress of the work, check with us to see if there were any items that needed to be addressed and give us a summation of the upcoming events. We made some last minute changes to the layout and also asked for some custom woodworking and Bryan and team accommodated our requests with eagerness to tackle the ideas and challenges. The finished basement looks great and we have thoroughly enjoyed the space watching football games and relaxing in front of the oversized fireplace!

We were impressed with Bryan from the first meeting. He was very professional, and yet, warm and friendly. He listened to what we had in mind, gave suggestions, and was able to draw up a plan that was practical and esthetically pleasing. The sub-contractors that he hired were also very professional and did a great job. Bryan McKIm with the Mission Basement Company would tell you he doesn't like remodels. His speciality is basements - it's in the name of his company. But maybe if you pay him well and ask nicely, he will do your remodel. Because it will be the best thing you'll do for yourself and your family. He did my entire house and I LOVE IT. I'm crazy picky, I've heard too many horror stories, I'm super square and basically like things perfect. So I'm THAT customer. Oh, it got so bad, I was banned from own house project for a week. You get the idea. So it says a lot that I will and have recommended Bryan McKim with MIssion Basement Company to my closest friends. He stuck to our deadline He hired the best people to work on the project He was always available for incessant questions He had awesome ideas on how to make my ideas better (I've never seen more beautiful useful vents in my kitchen ..sounds weird I know.. But those had to be done in order to install tall cabinets) He always showed up when he said he would He worked with subs who are not his to complete work. For instance I had an IKEA kitchen done. But Bryan did the electrical, plumbing, floor, tile, paint. He worked with IKEA folks to deliver the kitchen that is complete and beautiful. So if you're looking for a basement, or you can convince Bryan to do something else in your house - you're in luck. He's the opposite of that nightmare contractor that we've all heard about. He believes in honesty and quality. I hope you get to enjoy his work in your home.

We hired Mission Basement Company to finish approximately 2,000 SF of basement in our home. From the beginning I was impressed with their professionalism and demeanor, we actually had to delay the project a year to obtain financing, but Bryan was very patient with the delay and once we were good to go he started right away. The estimate was accurate and he included a folder with all of his change/upgrade pricing printed on it so there were no surprises when it came to costs and change orders. We initially wanted a very vanilla finish, but Bryan included several options to spice up the basement including a stone covered fireplace complete with an arched entrance to our media room, mud set walk in showers for the bedrooms, and a walk up wet bar. We chose to do all 3 and are really glad we did! The construction phase was a much better experience than I anticipated. All contractors entered through a basement window and did not ever physically disturb our family. I said physically disturb because there is no escaping the noise of a basement finish, but they were courteous about scheduling so if I ever needed quiet I could have it. I was amazed at how coordinated the different trades were with one coming after the other in a timely fashion. There were some periods of time toward the end of the project when we had to wait a few days because the subs had other projects to work on, but nothing was excessive or unexpected. Ben and Bryan always communicated with us about the schedule so nothing ever surprised us or wasn't explained. The final inspection from the city took place on the exact day Mission Basement said they would be done. The project was completed on time and without any surprises in the budget. I would recommend Mission Basement Company to anybody considering a basement finish or any home remodeling project.

Brian McKim at Mission Basement and his crew did an excellent job on our living room remodel. He was very attentive and flexible to the ideas of what we wanted and the specific look. He provided us with the guidance and expertise needed to work us through the process and cost parameters we gave him. They were very conscious of keeping our home clean during the remodel which we very much appreciated! We continually get compliments on how well it turned out. I would highly recommend this company!

Bryan and Ben were wonderful throughout our basement finishing. They were able to start soon after i met with them for an estimate and the project progressed smoothly with no delays between sub-contractors even with changes in the original plans. Because of this, we were finished 3 weeks before the scheduled completion. Ben was available on site a great deal of the time and reachable by phone if needed. Everyone was professional and courteous and the area was left neat at the end of each day.

Mission basement did a great job finishing our basement. They started in Nov. 2015 and finished in Feb. 2016. We had a few issues but they where able to rectify it promptly. It was a pleasure working with Bryan and Ben. We have recommended them to several friends already. In addition, the contractors where courteous and accommodating.

When we decided to finish our basement in our new home, my wife and I really did not know where to turn to find a reputable contractor. We searched on line and started to call several contractors to get estimates for our project. While going through several different companies, we discussed what our vision was as well as our budgetary constraints. It was very disappointing as to the caliber and cost of the several different responses we received.
