I began this business in 1980 as a builder with a passion to provide craftsmanship and design for people that may not have the budget to hire an architect. During this time, energy conservation was on everyone's mind, and one of our first houses was a passive solar with an earth shelter design. The ideas I explored then have been refined and put to use in every project when appropriate. Not everyone has unlimited funds for their construction budget. I use the budget you have and work to give you the best design and highest quality materials to create buildings/additions with the lowest on-going energy use. In this age of subcontracting it is important to provide close oversight of all necessary trades and I do that by being on the job and doing one project at a time. When a question arises someone with the knowledge and overview of the whole job is there to answer it.
