Lambie Construction

My husband and I were given Lambie Construction as a referral from a mutual client. We were getting the hardwood floors in our home refinished. The floors were approximately 20 years old and had seen some damage from a large dog that we used to have. Floran came by our home one evening to take a look and take measurements. The person who gave us the referral had mentioned that Floran was meticulous when it came to detail and he wasn't kidding. In very little time Floran had drawn a floor plan of our house (free handed) and included all the measurements. We had a number of questions about the process and he answered them all, paying very close attention to make sure we got the details we needed to know. In very little time he was back to me with a quote that was in line with what we had estimated the job would cost. We made the arrangements from them to go ahead. We had to vacate our house for a week and he kept us appraised of how the job was going and when we would be able to return home. We were thrilled to see that the damage from the dog's claws was completely gone. The floors were beautiful and once we got things cleaned up and put back, the house has never looked so good! Two months later, I still can't get over the difference. I would highly recommended Lambie Construction and have in fact re-booked them for another project this fall. Beautiful workmanship, attention to detail, very prompt and professional - keen to make sure that we were happy with the job completed.

We hired Floran Lambie's firm to renovate our kitchen. I can't say enough good things about Floran and his crew. They did a wonderful job - we completely love our beautiful new kitchen. Floran was so lovely to work with: He has a quiet, respectful demeanour and is completely honest. He was true to his estimate for the job. When we made changes to the plans, he ensured we understood the financial impact of those changes. He listened to our ideas and designed a kitchen that met our needs and addressed our concerns. He offered good advice: we followed his advice on several issues and he was absolutely correct. Floran started our job exactly when promised and he completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, given some additional issues addressed. There were no delays in completing that inevitable final list of small items. Floran employs good and skilled tradespeople who were polite and respectful of both our property and our privacy. A kitchen renovation is quite an invasive project and Floran did everything possible to restrict the impact on us. We trust Floran and look forward to working with him again for our next project. We definitely recommend his firm for any renovation project.
