I highly recommend John for all your home improvement needs. We hired him for 3 jobs over the last 4 years and we couldn’t be more pleased with the work he’s done for us. We first met John when we were looking to install French doors on our office. What I thought was a simple project to have hired done ended up being hard to find someone that I felt confident could do the job with in a reasonable price. I called 4 companies and John was actually the 4th when one company stood me up. Upon meeting him I knew he could do the job. Once we accepted the quote everything went quick and smooth. A couple years later we decided to finish our basement and knew we eventually wanted to renovate our kitchen. We had no idea where to begin or who to even hire. I remembered John mentioning he did renovations so I called and left a message. John called me back and the rest is history. He helped us every step of the way. I explained what I had envisioned and wanted and he made it happen. He is very knowledgeable, dependable, meticulous, reasonable, and over all great guy to work with. All of his subs were amazing hard workers who took pride in their work and did a fantastic job. If you need a contractor John will not disappoint. When we decided to remodel our kitchen we really did not know where to start. We stopped in at Select Kitchen Design and met with Matt Zimmerman. Matt showed us a variety of kitchen cabinets and discussed our options. Matt recommended we meet with John Pulsat with JP Design & Build. He said John could guide us through the remodel providing excellent service and minimal stress. John is experienced in all phases of remodeling and construction and well connected with contractors to handle plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. We decided to combine our existing kitchen and dining room and John took care of all phases of the operation. We liked that John has an easy personality and an eye for design. John is seasoned and knows how to get the job done right. There was a thorough cleanup each day and disruption was kept to a minimum. We highly recommend JP Design for any remodel or addition to your home and plan on using his services in the future.

John, Dale, and Regi recently finished installing our new front door with sidelites and transom, and a back door with a storm door on the outside. John was very helpful during the entire process. We had friends recommend him after he replaced their front door, and I'm glad they did. We were unsure of the process, but after reaching out to John in email, he came out, took measurements, provided us the book on the Provia products he carries, and even though we didn't know what style of door we wanted for sure, he gave us a few recommendations based on our first conversation that he priced out, but never put any pressure on us. Over the next few weeks we asked him to price a few different options and he responded quickly each time with all inclusive pricing. For the next step met him in his shop to get color templates and glass details finalized, and he was great putting up with our 3 and 5 year old running around (and allowing them a chance to draw some art on the reception desk while the adults talked). When the doors arrived with the doors to install they did a great job despite a cold rain coming down during part of the day, and Dale was great enough to point out a flaw in a trim piece I would have never noticed, so they planned to come back and replace. We talked to three different companies and John had the best response time, and the best prices of all of them. John and Dale really take pride in their work it shows in how they treated us and how they treated Regi who had some experience but was still learning some of the tricks of the trade.

I'm extremely pleased with the quality of the work I received from John and his company. A true gem. The attention to detail, the knowledge of all construction aspects was surprising. He doesn't just do windows, he can completely build or remodel an entire house if you so desire. Also, I would like mention I was expecting to pay more for John's services. But soon realized he's also very affordable. He literally saved me money, thank goodness I did 3 estimates. He was my last one, and he ended up being the best choice. John is warm, friendly and he truly did look out for my best interests. He's meticulously thorough and a real joy to work with, and I'm certainly going to call him first from here on out.

JP Design & Build Construction did an amazing job with replacing our windows and our entire front porch. John and his crew were professional from start to finish. John was exceptionally helpful and was quick to respond to every question we had. We love our windows and they made such a difference in our utility bills. Our porch was beautifully constructed and our neighbors gave us compliments on the curb appeal it gave our home. We plan to go with JP Design & Build Construction for our future home improvements.
