Arthur and his team did an amazing job in our house!! We had to get walls refinished, change windows, create a new window, replace doors, paint the entire house and install wallpaper. Arthur and his team could not have been more fantastic! Arthur called me within minutes of my request for information, and he was on time and easy to get in touch with from the beginning. They remodeled two small bathrooms for us when no one else even wanted to look at the job! Arthur gave us great ideas and was able to recommend suppliers. The job was done affordably and on schedule. Arthur was so easy to communicate with that we HIGHLY recommend him and are planning to hire him for our next project.

We worked with J&I Construction in a couple of projects. Initially we did a whole condo paint and replaced bedroom carpets with hardwood floors. The project was flawless and the condo looked like new in no time. We liked the work so much that we hired Arthur and crew again for our house. This time it was a much more involved project, as we fully gutted and remodeled two bathrooms, painted the whole house and did some other minor work, such as installing lights in a staircase. We are extremely happy with the results. Communication was great, we were always informed of who was coming to the house, next steps, etc. Like in every project, we found some issues with the way some things were done before (for example: no insulation!), and Arthur was always quick to find various solutions at different price points, so we always felt that we were given options that worked for us. The team was very proactive in providing us with recommendations along the way, and accommodating when we changed our minds about something. The team had a lot of patience, they were very respectful around the house, took care that all things were put back where they belong, etc. Overall, a great experience, will highly recommend this team for your needs. Now we are planning our next projects!

We can't say enough great things about the experience we had working with J&I Construction on the total renovation of our bathroom. From start to finish, the team was responsive, transparent, punctual, polite, clean (wow! were they clean!), talented, professional, communicative, and easy to have around the house. They were creative problem solvers and very quick to bring in extra help when we decided to vault the ceiling. From start to finish, the experience was smooth and hassle free.

I searched googles for contractors near me as well as other contractors that my friends recommended. They either never called me back or gave me a ridiculous quote for the project. Then I turned to Houzz.com. At first I was skeptical using a website to hire a contractor but Arthur responded right away and met with us several times without any hesitations to go over the plans. He made us at ease. We started out with 2 bathroom remodeling which turned out excellent. Then we hired him to do major renovations in my house including total gut job inside the house with changing layouts. He was always on top of everything. He made sure the subcontractors did the job well done. If there were any issues, he fixed the issues promptly. I know some contractors don’t show up or work every day but Arthur and his team worked almost every day for 3 months to finish our interior remodeling. We are so happy to have our house the way we want it and Arthur made our dream come true. I can truly say that he is not just my contractor but a friend. I highly recommend him for any job

J&I was hired by the absentee prior owner of the property that I bought. They did a wonderful job of painting and bringing the place up to date without the supervision of the person who had hired them that I immediately knew that they were trustworthy and reliable. I have since hired them to do all projects around my house that needs attention, they have proven themselves to be accommodating and responsible.

Arthur and his crew beyond exceeded our expectations. We hired him for some renovations on our new home. He repainted the entire house, sanded and refinished our hardwood flooring, installed recess lighting, and did some tile work in our bathrooms. He was always on time and responsive and gave us updates every step of the way. His suggestions were always helpful and we used them. Pricing wise he was very fair and did did quality work.

The hardest project was a tiny bathroom we have on our lower level that was horrendous. His team gutted it and created such a beautiful bathroom that it puts the other bathrooms in the house to shame! We are beyond happy with the work that was done by the team. It is SO important to truly trust your contractor as they spend so much time in your home and Arthur is someone you can trust without question! We will be calling him with any other future needs for our home.

We hired Arthur to renovate our basement after it was destroyed following flooding from Ida. Arthur completed the project on time and in budget and we love the finished work. He always listened to exactly what I wanted and we really appreciated his level of communication - always knowing exactly what was happening and when. We were so happy ended up having Arthur do additional work in the house. It’s just been so nice finding a reliable contractor who does really good work.

We were very happy with the quality of the painting! We had tons of very lived-in rooms and an icky garage to clean and paint as we were moving from our large house. Arthur worked with us the entire time to accommodate our needs as we freed up rooms and eventually moved out and had to have the remaining rooms done by a deadline. We hired J & I Construction to help get our condominium in Stanford, CT ready for sale. After 8 years as of renting out our unit, we decided it was time to sell. We had the normal wear and tear on our unit, with some superficial damage to our kitchen cabinets and ceilings from a roof leak. We hired C & I construction to repair the damages and to repaint the entire unit -- trim, walls, ceilings, garage and kitchen cabinets. We also had them finish off a full bathroom in the basement. The completed the plumbing, tub - toilet - vanity and tile installation. The work was immaculate. They completed the project on-time and on-budget, which was a big help in getting the unit on the market to catch the prime selling season. J&I construction was hired by us a few years back to renovate our kitchen , one bathroom, finish our basement and refinish the floors. We could not be happier with the end result and more recently we hired them back to renovate two more bathrooms. Throughout the duration of both projects many times they went above and beyond the scope of the project and accommodated all our requests. They completed work in timely and professional matter and were always responsive to emails and calls. They were always open to discussing ideas and worked with us to achieve the best outcome. J & I Construction has done amazing work at my primary residence and investment properties. Windows (replacement), exterior trim replacement, bathroom remodel, interior painting, kitchen remodel, tiling, etc. all work was always completed in a timely fashion, always stuck to budget, and always very clean/tidy. The team of professionals at J & I took my crappy home and turned it into a wonderland.
