Ironwood Construction Group was founded by Managing Member Clay Ortiz in 2008. He brings over 20 years of experience to this building and remodeling company, including a family legacy that began with his father, who still works today as a framing contractor and was Clay’s first and most formative employer. Continuing the tradition is Clay’s son, Levi, who is a big part of Ironwood and brings years of experience to the team. Clay’s intense attention to detail and efficiency were learned early in his career and continue to carry over into his work today. Ironwood has quickly built a reputation among Metro Atlanta home builders as one of the most conscientious, client-focused custom home builders and remodelers in the area. This is due largely to Clay’s extensive experience in the home building industry. From framing crew to superintendent and finally owner of his own building company, he understands how to manage multiple projects and subcontractors while being mindful of budgets, special customer details, and timelines. Ironwood understands the importance of local involvement, as well, and is a member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builder’s Association, which sponsors continuing education for builders and honors their achievements.
